Support team is hard to reach

Pros

We used to genuinely like this software and relied on it for most of our landing pages and marketing sequences.

Cons

Customer support hasn't been great. It's hard to get in touch and it can be pretty difficult to have issues resolved in a timely way.

The software includes a ton of features and feels like far more than just email marketing.

excellent integrations

Pros

Segmentation is really strong with AC and it's been impressive how well it connects with the other tools we use for lead generation and ongoing nurturing.

Cons

There's a bit of a learning curve and the interface isn't the most user friendly. We ended up contacting support a few times but they responded quickly each time so it didn't cause much of a hold up.

easy setup

Pros

Really easy to use and the setup ended up being simpler than I expected. I also appreciate how you can tweak things later as your needs change without much hassle.

Cons

Nothing major comes to mind right now. If anything, I regret not fully using the free training and onboarding resources that were available.

Performance boost

Pros

In our company, we switched to this after using other competing tools for years. Over this time, we've noticed a real jump in performance, mainly thanks to the improved deliverability. With very little effort, our tech team managed to integrate it with our existing systems and to date we haven't run into any technical issues at all.

Cons

Only downside worth mentioning is pretty minor for me personally its user interface. I think it could be polished a bit more to make the overall experience even more user friendly but even in its current form it's still a great product.

better email metrics

Pros

You can build custom templates and then reuse campaigns you've already run by applying them to new sends. The reporting history is also genuinely useful using past performance helps boost click through and open rates over time.

Cons

Our team relies on ActiveCampaign's Bulk Mailer and that option doesn't include A/B testing. On top of that there's no support for testing how emails render on mobile clients.

user friendly marketing automation upgrade

Pros

Using this product has felt much easier compared to the marketing automation system we had before and the pricing offers solid options for what you get. The overall setup and day to day use are pretty easy and the features included make the cost feel worthwhile.

Cons

No real downsides so far this has been a noticeable improvement over our previous tool so there hasn't been anything negative to flag yet.

ActiveCampaign review

Pros

Lets users build and automate email marketing campaigns, handle contact lists and monitor sales along with customer interactions. The standout features people tend to enjoy are the ability to segment contacts, automate repetitive tasks and connect with lots of third party apps and services.

Cons

Can feel pricey and a bit confusing and the platform's capabilities may not be a perfect fit for every type of business.

solid automation features

Pros

There are plenty of features that let you build complex workflows.

Cons

On the flip side, having so many automation options can make the platform feel a bit difficult to use especially at the beginning.

Pros

Packs in a lot of features and feels simple to use. Overall, it's a solid platform that supports what I need without making everything overly complicated.

Cons

Pricing isn't the cheapest and there's a learning curve figuring out how to adapt everything takes a bit of time.

has everything you need

Pros

It really covers the whole email marketing workflow, including automated triggers when prospects land on your website. That kind of timing makes campaigns feel a lot more targeted without extra manual work.

Cons

This is probably one of those problems you can't fully escape these days no matter who the email provider is emails still sometimes end up in spam or the Promotions tab even when the reported "spam rating" stays very low.

Quick client saves

Pros

The standout feature for me is how simple it is to store client details and send email blasts to prospects already saved in the system.

Cons

Honestly, there's nothing about this software that I dislike.

Pros

Setup was quick and the whole interface plus core functionality are really easy to follow.

Cons

Cost might be worth watching though it appears comparable to other tools on the market neither clearly overpriced nor a bargain.

great software

Pros

I really enjoy how well it integrates with the other tools we use for marketing. The connection feels smooth so our workflow stays consistent instead of bouncing between platforms.

Cons

It does come with a fairly steep learning curve. It would be better if the setup and overall usage were more organized and simplified.

easy to use for non tech users

Pros

Very user friendly for people like me who aren't super techy. Getting around the platform didn't feel overwhelming and most of the setup made sense right away.

Cons

There aren't any real downsides though it does take a bit of adjusting and learning at first. After you spend a little time with it, everything becomes really easy.

effortless campaign management

Pros

The active campaign feature feels really easy to use especially when it comes to managing contacts all in one place. Scheduling emails is also handled well so it's simple to set messages to send at the exact time you want.

Cons

No real complaints right now the software is working well for me. At the moment, I haven't noticed any loopholes or problems and if anything comes up later, I'll update my review.

Cons

I haven't run into any issues yet there's nothing that feels like a real downside on this software. If anything comes up, I'll update the review with my experience.

solid software for our needs

Pros

I use it every day and it covers pretty much everything a small business needs. I've also used it in a previous job where we pushed it pretty far and had a lot of complex setups. When it acts up, it tends to fix itself over time so the day to day impact isn't usually a dealbreaker. Overall, it's solid software that fits real business needs.

Cons

There are occasional glitches sometimes it can reset itself unexpectedly. Also, getting your own template set up takes a little effort, rather than being fully plug and play.

Helpful technical supprt

Pros

Simple to use, offers a really solid quality to price balance and comes packed with lots of useful features. On top of that the technical support has been genuinely helpful whenever I've needed it.

Cons

Would be nice if campaigns included more topography options and occasionally a few minor bugs pop up temporarily when they roll out new features.
