“effective email delivery”
Pros
Feature set feels genuinely comprehensive and the software itself is both user friendly and highly effective when it comes to email delivery. Messages go out efficiently and the workflow supports getting things done without too much hassle.
Cons
On the downside, tweaking or editing emails can be difficult which gets frustrating faster than it should. It really requires persistence otherwise you might end up abandoning it and going back to whatever system you were using before.

“great support team”
Pros
Covers what I need and even more beyond that. There are also several extra features I don't expect to use but they're there if I ever decide to. Support has been fantastic whenever I've had questions or needed help.
Cons
If you're starting from scratch with no prior experience, it can feel a bit difficult to get the hang of.

“easy to use once you get used to”
Pros
This software works really well. At the beginning, the interface felt a bit overwhelming but after I spent a little time with it, everything clicked and it became easy to use.
Cons
There's definitely a high learning curve and it can be a little tough to get the hang of at first.

“All in one tool”
Pros
It feels like a true all in one platform it's pretty extensive and covers a lot of ground. The biggest win is that you can accomplish quite a lot using just this single software instead of juggling multiple tools.
Cons
Since it's packed with features, there's a noticeable learning curve. It also gets expensive pretty fast if you're managing a larger contact list.

“Helpful training”
Pros
There are a ton of feature options that make it possible to run more nuanced email marketing. While the platform can feel a bit complex to get around, the onboarding training they provide is thorough and really helps you ramp up quickly.
Cons
Pricing is on the expensive side and the interface takes some time to wrap your head around. That said, the training resources they offer make it much more manageable once you start.

Pros
Easy to use and the newer features for creating newsletters caught my attention right away.

Uploading a list of existing contacts from an Excel file to add them into a new list isn't supported so you end up having to handle it manually.

“Great automation with dynamic fields”
Pros
I really enjoy how simple list management feels especially when you're building automation steps. Dynamic fields like "FirstName" and "Company" make it easy to personalize content without extra hassle. On top of that it connects with a wide range of tools so it fits into different workflows and stays accessible.
Cons
Coming from prior email marketing, I can see that setup could feel a bit challenging for someone doing it their first time. Once you get used to it though, the platform doesn't seem hard to work with at all.

“makes reviewing data simpler”
Pros
Our team uses this to monitor user behavior and keep up with campaign activity. Reviewing everything doesnt take a lot of time and it stores a lot of history so it's easy to look back.
Cons
The contact search tool runs a bit slowly and is a little awkward to use so that area could use improvement.

“easy to make template”
Pros
Switching from templates to using it day to day has been really convenient. I'm genuinely enjoying AC a lot so far and the overall flow feels practical.
Cons
Nothing major has come up though I'd still like my admin to be able to help route warm vs. cold leads and keep the hold/cold leads organized in a way that saves me extra effort.

“Very useful features for CRM”
Pros
We really wanted to connect this with our CRM but since our CRM is custom built in house, there wasn't much time to set up an integration with a developer. Even with that limitation, I can see how much more we could get from this if it were linked to our CRM. Using the lead features to nurture prospects would help us guide sales leads more effectively and get better results overall.
Cons
Automations take some effort to manage. Support and training are available and there are lots of helpful online resources but getting up to speed and putting everything into place still ended up being a pretty time consuming process.

“great contact management”
Pros
Does a great job handling contacts and lists and it feels like it's a step ahead of many competitors. The email campaign designer is also easy to use especially when you need to set up messages and send test emails. That said, the real standout feature is the automation which lets you trigger actions for specific lists or contacts based on external inputs. It's exactly the kind of tooling that makes the platform feel powerful and I genuinely enjoy using it.
Cons
On the Lite plan, I'd expect more detailed performance reporting. The metrics provided are pretty basic which makes it harder to analyze each campaign properly. There's also the pricing side as it can be a bit expensive compared with other options out there.

“marketing automation is a standout”
Pros
Marketing automation features are hands down my favourite part of this tool.
Cons

“Fast start with training videos”
Pros
Getting our first email marketing campaign up and running was pretty easy. ActiveCampaign also includes a lot of help content there are plenty of training videos and sessions you can use to refresh your memory or pick up new tactics to get better results with AC.
Cons
Contact cards show some redundant fields and even with the website's explanations about segmentation, tags and related features, the whole topic still feels confusing and like there's more for me to learn.

Pros
Really enjoying how easy it is to use. I can quickly send out newsletters or promotional offers without getting bogged down.

“everything you need in one place”
Pros
My favorite parts of this software are the really detailed tagging options, the automation builder and lead scoring. The automation builder is especially great because it lets me create more complex workflows while still being able to view the whole thing visually which makes debugging and refining much faster. I also like that there's a CRM built directly into the email marketing tool so I don't have to juggle multiple systems.
Cons
Email templates though, could use a major upgrade. A lot of them either look pretty ugly or feel overly busy with design elements that don't fit the type of marketing I run day to day.
