“simple interface”
Pros
Love how simple everything feels. I especially like the way the functions are presented and it's been nice to see how the toolset is set up in a way that makes sense while I tested several options.
Cons
Pricing becomes a concern as you scale up. You have to keep in mind that costs can rise quite a bit so it's important to plan a solid strategy to protect your list and keep everything profitable.

“reliable email campaigns”
Pros
Been using it for more than a year and it's the only email platform I can honestly say fits all of my needs. The interface is easy to use, there are a lot of integrations available and it's especially dependable when you're building campaigns using more than a single condition. I used HubSpot before but this has felt more reliable and their customer support team has been better as well. They also keep pushing updates and rolling out new features which is hard to find with some competitors.
Cons
Haven't run into any real downsides with it yet.

“Excellent automations”
Pros
Its been a real help for automating my email marketing and also keeping a close eye on how each campaign is performing.
Cons
SMS campaigns and Facebook Custom Audiences only show up on the top tier, more expensive pricing plans.

“email editing is really easy”
Pros
Email delivery and automation work really well. Editing emails is pretty easy with the tool and the messages come out clean and polished. Automation is also one of its standout strengths especially since that's usually the hardest thing to get right on other platforms.
Cons
The website speed can get slow sometimes. It doesn't happen all the time but when it does, it's annoying. That said because the core features are solid, this issue hasn't felt like a deal breaker for me.

“solid features for small businesses”
Pros
Includes all the basic functionality that most SMBs typically need and that coverage is what makes it feel dependable for everyday use.
Cons
That said, it's missing a few important enterprise grade features and capabilities you'd expect at a larger, more complex organization level.

“great layout”
Pros
This platform looks and feels great. Everything is laid out clearly so it's simple to use since the features are pretty direct. The whole automation side also makes sense and the concept feels easy to put into action.
Cons
Speed could be better. It loads slowly when I'm saving or updating landing pages and website changes. A few integrations are a bit confusing at first though support typically helps you get sorted if you reach out.

“Powerful all around CRM features”
Pros
Covers a lot of the usual CRM tasks pretty well. It's not perfect at any single thing but it handles most day to day needs without much fuss. You also don't have to stack tons of add ons since it already includes core features like landing pages forms, email nurturing, SMS integration, sales management and reporting.
Cons
Building strong lists and segments is pretty frustrating. SMS support is limited to just one way and it doesn't track email opens when messages are sent from inside the CRM or via Outlook. On the other hand, syncing with Gmail works well.

“strong integrations”
Pros
Customization feels like it's on a whole different level. The way it integrates with the other apps is basically limitless based on what we've run into so far.
Cons
There were one or two small hiccups with the buttons especially when using it on Safari but any problems we saw got fixed quickly.

“Flexible email marketing tool”
Pros
Helped me get an automated email setup running that can respond to people based on what they do or don't do. That conditional targeting means the messages feel accurately customized to each action, not just sent as a generic sequence. It's also cut out the need to spend ongoing hours on administration which has been a big relief.
Cons
Since this is a nonprofit and the service is free, the overall cost to me is more than I'd prefer. On top of that getting the hang of the platform takes a bit of time and the learning curve can feel fairly steep before you're fully comfortable using it well.

“Great support”
Pros
Managing the customer list hasnt been difficult and the support team has been really responsive and helpful. Any time I had a question, I got clear assistance.
Cons
Automations are a bit too complicated to understand right now. A more guided setup with a step by step flow would make it much easier to figure out.

“setup takes work”
Pros
There are a lot of features and functions included, plus it connects well with other tools and has a pretty simple to use interface.
Cons
It doesn't play nicely with the Gravity Forms WordPress plugin so you can't really track what people do on your site unless you tag everything. I'm not sure if that's the same with other external form plugins but it's worth checking before committing. Another limitation is that you can't get individual email notifications at the contact level, if you want to email someone, you have to convert them into a "deal" first and that setup adds up. Costs can also feel a bit steep once you grow to a large number of contacts. That said, it's still generally cheaper than options like HubSpot or Pardot (Salesforce). One more thing: it doesn't track anonymous visitors to your site which is a minor miss but it would be helpful to see that history when someone eventually converts.

“boosted our mailing list”
Pros
We've been using ActiveCampaign for over nine months now and it's genuinely helped us grow our mailing list. Once everything clicks, the platform is easy to run day to day and it's been a solid part of our email marketing setup. Based on how things have gone so far, I'd absolutely recommend the service.
Cons
Getting started took a bit of time there's a learning curve while you figure out where things are. That said, it gets more enjoyable as you become more familiar with it and there really isn't anything negative to complain about overall.

“highly customizable forms”
Pros
We're using this for lead generation driven by a form we built inside the platform. It brings in requests for information neatly and the form itself feels really solid from a usability standpoint. On top of that the customizable fields are a big win for us we can modify what we collect to match what our process needs.
Cons
A few of the form fields don't seem to be fully customizable. We did run into a situation once where submission emails were sent nonstop which turned out to be a glitch but I suspect it was triggered by user error rather than the tool itself.

“Worth the price”
Pros
it does what it's supposed to. The API call limits are also handled without being overly aggressive and the integration with other products has been genuinely solid. Pricing has been fair as well.
Cons
Webhooks can be a bit inconsistent at times (sometimes they work as expected, other times they don't). When something does fail, it's frustrating that there's no way to see the exact reason it went wrong.

“Good value with lots of features”
Pros
Feature set is really solid for the price. There's a lot you can use and compared with other programs I tried, this one ended up being more cost effective for our team.
Cons

Pros
I've been using Xyrelle Hijapon for a while now and it's been genuinely easy to use with a lot of really solid features. The customer service is also friendly and responsive which makes my work flow better and keeps me moving when I have questions.
Cons
