“keeps getting better with each update”
Pros
Automation features are genuinely what hooked me and the way it integrates with other tools especially Clickfunnels has been a big win. Another thing I really appreciate is that the platform keeps evolving, with new tools and features rolling out regularly.
Cons
I'd like to see a smoother connection with platforms like Squarespace. Right now it can feel like you need to rely on an extra step or secondary tool such as Zapier to get everything working as intended.

“great experience with ActiveCampaign”
Pros
Lets me run and automate my newsletter with a level of precision and control I haven't seen in any other tool.
Cons
No real complaints there's a little learning curve while you get used to the workflow but once it clicks, the whole process feels effortless.

“practical choice for running campaigns”
Pros
It works well across lots of landing page builders and platforms. The interface feels user friendly and it's genuinely practical for running campaigns. There are plenty of templates you can use to get ideas quickly and build from there.
Cons
When editing emails, it can occasionally load a bit slowly and it's not always easy to jump to the exact section you want on the first try. The hyperlink buttons could look better and creating dynamic emails can be a little complicated to set up.

“flexible tagging options”
Pros
Automation features are genuinely impressive and the tagging options are really flexible. I can set things up in a way that keeps my contacts organized and workflows running without constant manual work.
Cons
Pricing can get steep. Once the business grows and you have more contacts to manage, the costs add up pretty fast.

“useful engagement tracking”
Pros
Tracking how engaged a lead is has been genuinely helpful for my workflow. It gives quick visibility into what's working without having to dig around manually.
Cons
A few parts of the UI feel a bit too complicated especially where the "open tasks" option shows up. The notes area also could use some tweaks to make the formatting more readable at a glance. On top of that the icons in the "Recent Activities" section should be clearer for faster scanning. For instance if an email campaign was opened, an open envelope style icon would make more sense than reusing the same envelope icon used for all email related actions.

“time saving templates”
Pros
Every template included has been a huge win for me. It saves countless hours because I can start from a template and just plug in my information instead of building everything from scratch.
Cons
Left side menu list can feel a little confusing. If I haven't logged in for a while, it usually takes me a minute to track down what I need again.

“Not just limited to email campaigns”
Pros
Lets me plug in readily available email templates, CTAs, tracking codes and more or build my own materials directly inside the platform. It's not limited to email outreach either it also lets me set up marketing campaigns for social media platforms. On top of that I'm able to create forms and surveys so it covers more than just sending emails.
Cons
UI takes some time to get the hang of since it isn't immediately easy to understand so there's a bit of a learning curve before everything clicks.

“effective at pulling together sales reports”
Pros
Using this, I can track multiple marketing campaigns across different channels from a single dashboard which makes the whole process feel a lot more organized. The email marketing features are especially strong and really effective for pulling marketing insights and putting together sales reports without much difficulty. On top of that the marketing automation tools are flexible and genuinely useful for running business workflows. Team collaboration through this also feels excellent.
Cons
Feature flexibility and customization are a big strength but occasionally the technical support takes quite a while to respond which can be frustrating when you need help quickly.

“automation makes customer communication easier”
Pros
The automation really helps me stay in touch with customers and during that time I'm able to focus on other tasks.
Cons
I'm still not fully familiar with it yet. Its a bit difficult to operate at first so I cant really handle everything on my own right now. That said, I haven't gone through training in a very intensive way so far.

“efficient support”
Pros
Support team is genuinely efficient and they'll help with whatever I need. Pricing is also a strong point there's clear cost guidance based on the number of contacts. You can store a huge contact database and still get the lowest pricing as long as only a smaller portion is actually subscribed for email marketing. For instance, you can keep around 20,000 contacts and pay about $75/month if fewer than 1,500 are subscribed to email marketing. That matters a lot for real estate companies since we usually have a ton of contacts and many of them aren't suitable or approved to be on an email marketing list.
Cons
No chatbots or WhatsApp integration for lead capture.

“easy to set up sequences”
Pros
Automation power is impressive and being able to build email flows is a really strong feature. Setting up sequences and linking steps through the workflows feels very flexible so you can get quite advanced results without ending up limited by the tool.

“flexible pricing”
Pros
It comes with a ton of alternatives and settings for emailing, process automation, contact management forms creation and even landing page generation. Basically, it feels like a company holy grail because it covers so many day to day needs in one place. There's also a pricing path that starts fairly low and scales up as the business grows which makes it easier to adopt without jumping costs immediately.
Cons
That said the learning curve can be a bit steep at the beginning there's a lot to take in and some of the setup feels pretty technical. Also if your automations get heavy or the database becomes crowded and complicated, the system can start to feel slower.

“powerful email automations at lower cost”
Pros
HubSpot is definitely the big player here but ActiveCampaign still brings most of the core capabilities at a much smaller price tag. I was particularly focused on the email automation since it's central to our sales funnel for our new software, Beyond Typicals.
Cons
Once I started editing the automation emails, the email editor felt pretty basic. I might be missing something but I'm used to drag and drop builders and couldn't get the hang of doing it the same way in this.

Pros

The automation features are helpful and it also makes relationship building with customers feel more structured instead of guesswork. Overall, it feels designed to take you from planning to execution without too much friction.
Cons
