“Simple to work with”
Pros
Simple to work with and the overall features are a big plus. Every part of the functionality comes in handy especially when you're looking for a solution for a small business. The deliverability rate is genuinely strong and using it has been a better experience compared to other tools I've tried. Overall, it comes across as a solid, valuable option for everyday use.
Cons
Downside is that it runs a bit slowly and the reporting side feels somewhat limited. Beginners may struggle with it at first and it also seems like the software expects users to have more experience than they might have. Loading time can be noticeably long too.

“quick campaign integrations”
Pros
I really like how well active campaigns connect with both my website and my mentoring site on MemberVault. Setup is quick and I love that everything can connect to each other in just a few clicks. Capturing leads and collecting email addresses has become much simpler because of that.
Cons
There is a bit of a learning curve at the beginning but once you get the hang of it, the platform is highly customizable. They also keep improving the system with regular updates which makes the whole experience better over time.

“powerful all in one marketing platform”
Pros
After testing other marketing tools, it stood out because everything you need is packed into one platform with a lot of built in resources. The automation tools were also highly customizable and we were able to put together more complex campaigns without feeling limited.
Cons
Because it includes so many features, the learning curve can feel a little heavy at first. It took some time to get used to the layout and figure out where everything is.

“user friendly automations”
Pros
Quickly became my go to for email marketing because it's genuinely simple and user friendly. It's also been a big upgrade for how we manage our email marketing, thanks to all the features packed into the platform. On top of that the automation is a huge win. Once it's set up, marketing tasks run on autopilot instead of relying on manual work.
Cons
Pricing is higher than some competing tools but the cost feels reasonable since the added benefits actually line up with what you pay for.

“Helpful notes feature”
Pros
This software lets our company store all contact information in one place and it makes it simple to identify everyone who belongs to the same organization. The notes feature is especially helpful. People using this can view each other's activity and the "add a task" option makes it simple to assign follow ups.
Cons
Updating dates or other fields can feel a bit annoying sometimes, mainly if you forget to hit "save changes" before moving on.

“great tool with competitive pricing”
Pros
One of the simplest tools out there for email marketing and automation. The dashboard feels user friendly and it's easy to set up campaigns and workflows without getting stuck. Pricing stays fairly competitive compared to a lot of the market, with multiple plan options that can match different budgets. There's a lot packed into the platform for building high performing email campaigns as autoresponders, segmentation, detailed tracking and solid reporting are all included. Deliverability performance is among the best I've seen which helps make sure emails actually land in subscribers' inboxes instead of getting filtered. The support team is knowledgeable and responsive. When something comes up, they're quick to help troubleshoot and get you moving again.
Cons
Doesn't connect with as many third party tools as some competitors so it can feel restrictive if your business relies on a wider stack of software.

“visually pleasing email designs”
Pros
Our marketing team used to complain a lot about the previous software. After switching to this, most people seem genuinely happy with the move. Even our customers noticed the difference, saying the designs look better and the templates really helped with that. We're also seeing stronger results overall which is the part that matters most.
Cons
It isn't the most beginner friendly option for someone trying automated email marketing for the first time.

“Powerful outreach capability”
Pros
It feels like a true all in one CRM plus marketing platform when you set it up the right way. The email and text message automation for reaching out to customers has been especially good. I also like having everything in one place my customer list and CRM data, with notes and contact touchpoints. The mobile app is also fairly solid and usable though it still has room to grow.
Cons
Has a lot of features, tasks and customization options but the tradeoff is a bit of a learning curve and some upfront setup time, particularly if you plan to use the full range of features in it.

“strong integrations”
Pros
Integrations are really strong, letting me build all kinds of automations and collect leads through multiple channels. Setup and day to day use are simple and everything feels quick to get running. I'd happily recommend it to other people looking for lead capture and automation.
Cons
There are some constraints with the platform's own forms I initially planned to use their forms but once I ran into the limitations, I ended up switching to other form options.

“Interface was simple to use”
Pros
Running a small business, I needed a solid setup for email marketing automation and I ended up comparing a bunch of the usual tools. This stood out and won me over. The interface is really easy to use so getting campaigns up and running didn't feel complicated.
Cons
One thing I'd love to see is more design flexibility additional font choices, the ability to use my own fonts and more freedom to customize how the layouts look.

“impressive range of uses”
Pros
The system feels genuinely powerful and the range of capabilities is impressive.
Cons
It needs more plug and play automations. Right now, the automations don't connect to each other in even a basic way so users end up spending too much time figuring things out and manually setting it up. It becomes too time consuming to use everything to its full potential unless you're paying someone to handle the setup for you.

“simple to use”
Pros
Simple to use and it includes a bunch of useful features that our previous provider didn't have. Overall, it fits our workflow much better now.
Cons
Wish there were stronger built in integration options for my all in one CMS/CRM. Right now I'm relying on Zapier to connect everything I need into this which adds an extra step.

“A huge time saver”
Pros
I've been using ActiveCampaign for nearly a year and once the initial learning curve clicks, it's been awesome for building automations that basically run my emails on autopilot. I keep discovering new features that save me time and I'm still not even tapping the full potential. One thing I really appreciate is that there aren't send limits or contact limits, Mailchimp was frustrating in that area. I'm on the lowest tier right now and it covers most of what I need. As my audience keeps growing, I'd love to upgrade for the SMS (conversations) option. They also recently rolled out a new drag and drop email interface and it feels like an upgrade from the previous one. Plus, the level of customization is strong and being able to save blocks is a huge time saver.
Cons
The part I enjoy the least is the learning curve. Even with decent tech skills and after going through their onboarding, I still find the navigation a little tough. After a year, I still end up clicking around trying to locate forms and contacts. That said, it's not a dealbreaker there isn't an obvious alternative organization that would solve it differently and the platform includes everything I need (and then some).
