“stellar email automation control”
Pros
Lets me manage email marketing for both my company and my clients. Building new campaigns is simple especially with the way automations and email flows are set up.
Cons
No real complaints here everything has been working well. I'd recommend this to pretty much everyone.

“reliable handling of transactional emails”
Pros
We've been using this software for a long time and it consistently does what it's supposed to. We also connected it to our company email accounts so it can handle and send out all of our transactional emails.
Cons
There are probably other tools that could handle the same tasks possibly even better. We've stuck with it out of habit so letting go has been hard. The interface can feel pretty complex and at the start it took a while to get results and understand what needed adjusting.

“good fit for my work”
Pros
Using Thrive Leads alongside Thrive Quiz Builder, I was specifically hunting for email marketing software that plays nicely with my workflow and is compatible with what I already use. The compatibility aspect really matters when you're connecting tools and this setup fit that requirement for me.
Cons
The interface used to feel sluggish though it's noticeably better than before. That said, the API calls are still a bit slow which can be a drawback if you rely on real time integrations.

“ClickFunnels integration feels smooth”
Pros
It connects nicely with ClickFunnels and is pretty useful overall.
Cons
Because there are so many features, it can feel a bit overwhelming if you're only trying to build a basic email list and set up a couple of simple automations.

“powerful automation”
Pros
Automation capabilities feel way stronger in AC than in most other email management tools. It also connects with a ton of software without relying on zaps which makes it a lot smoother to work with. I consistently prefer handling my workflow in AC compared to other programs.
Cons
Pricing is on the higher side though it ends up feeling justified once you're using more advanced, multi step automations.

“Useful tools”
Pros
Workflow automation builder feels pretty capable and the email designer along with the built in content management tools are genuinely useful. It's also a strong option for webinar promotions since it comes with a lot of native system integrations.
Cons
Syncing with Salesforce takes a while and ends up being more work than it should there's duplication involved especially when you need to delete or merge contacts in Salesforce.

“Great for segmenting contacts”
Pros
The campaign wide visualization screens are really clear and the flow diagram design is super user friendly and easy to understand. Editing and navigating everything feels easy too. On top of that the contact information management is very complete and detailed which makes it great for classifying and segmenting people.
Cons
Setting up the landing page took me a bit of time at first though with help from an expert I got it done after that, setting up the next ones was much easier.

“impressive built in workflow”
Pros
Very simple to use and the built in automations/workflows are really impressive.
Cons
I'd like an option to filter email addresses based on what users enter in a form. For instance, a form meant specifically for clients shouldn't allow emails from domains like .gmail or .yahoo.

“Highly recommend”
Pros
Been using this since 2017 and I've even recommended it to dozens of friends in that time. The platform is really strong for marketing automation and email marketing especially considering the price and I'm pretty sure I'm on their lowest tier. I also like how easy it is to connect forms with other lead capture tools to boost sign ups (LeadPages, Group Leads and similar options). From there, it's easy to build personalized welcome sequences and set up automations for different audience segments. Deliverability and open rates have been consistently good as well.
Cons
There are three main things I wish were better. The first is reporting which feels a bit limited. It would be great to break down new subscriber data by form so you can see which forms are driving the most sign ups during a specific time window. Right now, it mainly shows the lifetime stats for each form and since I'm dealing with hundreds of forms, it can be hard to figure out what caused a spike in new subscribers. Second, customer support has been frustrating. There's not much proactive help when something goes wrong and you often end up jumping through a lot of hoops. Third, I'd love to see area code geo targeting return. A few years back, ActiveCampaign assigned subscribers an area code based on their IP address which was super useful for hosting local meetups while traveling. Nowadays it seems to only provide city level targeting which is better than nothing but still not ideal.

“solid analytics”
Pros
This is a really useful marketing tool. The way it's set up keeps things organized which makes day to day campaign work feel a lot less complicated. Scheduling emails is simple and it's been helpful for staying in touch with both prospects and existing clients. The analytics are a big plus too they make it easier to understand how people behave so you can tweak your wording, timing and subject lines to improve performance across campaigns.
Cons
A stronger, more user friendly training area built right into the tool would be nice. There are already videos on YouTube covering how to run the sequences but having everything centralized would help. I'd also like to see more ready made email templates available.

“suits my needs”
Pros
Since my business is on the smaller side, I really value keeping everything organized. This fits that mindset and I'm genuinely happy with how it's working.
Cons
I ended up getting my business coach to help me set everything up. If I'd tried to do it completely solo, it would've been harder to figure out the setup steps for the funnel.

“top notch support”
Pros
Really easy to use and their support team has been excellent. Reaching out is simple and they manage to resolve about 99.9% of whatever issues pop up. The platform itself is both accessible and powerful and getting it set up with my website/webshop didnt take much time at all.
Cons
Some autofill features are missing. Other than that, there were no technical issues on my side.

Pros
I like being able to create templates for email campaigns. The email builder is also pretty useful yeah, it can feel a bit overwhelming at first but overall it does the job and works well.
Cons

“Built for more serious campaigns”
Pros
It's a really solid product when you're looking for advanced options in email marketing. The feature set feels built for more serious campaigns rather than basic sending.
Cons
The cost is on the high side compared with other tools but the cost seems justified since you're getting all the core functionalities included.

“lots of features to learn”
Pros
The range of things you can do with this is impressive. It's probably more capability than I need at the moment but that actually feels like a good thing since I can grow into it. Having that room to expand also means I won't have to switch tools later as my needs change.
Cons

“missing some key tools”
Pros
During the time I used it in my business, I can genuinely say it feels very user friendly and easy to work with.
Cons

“great onboarding”
Pros
Easy to use with a logical interface that makes sense right away. Onboarding was handled really well too and the customer service team was genuinely responsive. Overall, it comes across as a focused, high quality tool that's been built thoughtfully.
Cons
