“User friendly CRM for customer data”
Pros
It's simple to use and is really comfortable day to day. Exactly the kind of tool you want if you're trying to get the most out of a customer database.
Cons
Everything's been working well for us but if we could request one improvement, it would be adding more customization options.

“easy to personalize”
Pros
ActiveCampaign's task automations are dependable and let me handle routine work much faster. The premium marketing features also make it effortless to personalize our campaigns so we can better reach and pull in our target audience. On top of that the communication tools especially the chat features make it simple to interact with and engage leads and customers while we're running marketing activities.
Cons
I haven't seen any weaknesses with it. There haven't been any complaints about it, either.

“Solid email marketing”
Pros
Solid CRM plus email marketing. Each contact keeps a full history, including ecommerce integrations which really helps with both customer support and lead nurturing. Overall it makes it easy to track where people are in the journey and follow up at the right time.
Cons
Pricing can feel steep for smaller businesses. There are a few more affordable alternatives that offer similar features even if they aren't as stable as this.

“Top automation with smart segmentation”
Pros
Automation is really strong. After setup, everything runs smoothly for both CRM and email marketing in one place. That means you don't have to juggle multiple separate tools. I also like the segmentation and tagging since it makes it easier to target the right customers instead of blasting the same message to everyone.
Cons
The UI looks a bit outdated and doesn't feel as polished as some competing products. Pricing seems a little on the high side compared to more affordable options. It also occasionally lags which can be slightly annoying during use.

“price hikes with limited options”
Pros
E commerce integration works well and the automation features are genuinely helpful.
Cons
Once pricing started changing, we ended up needing to invest time and money to move away. The issue is feeling locked in as there aren't real downgrade options or practical ways to control ongoing price increases which puts you in a tough spot.

“powerful workflows for small business”
Pros
Advanced workflows really stand out with things like engagement tagging, custom fields and CRM like capabilities. It's still surprisingly easy to work with given how powerful it is. If I ever need even more advanced options, I'd choose it again without hesitation.
Cons
There's a noticeable learning curve since so many features are packed in. Getting my workflows dialed in took a fair amount of trial and error and a few times things simply didn't behave the way they were supposed to. That part was honestly pretty frustrating.

“powerful features in one place”
Pros
I really appreciate the wide range of features. Everything is available in one place which makes my workflow much more convenient. It also connects easily with other tools so I don't have to juggle different platforms. On top of that the interface is simple to use even when you're not using it every day.
Cons

Pros
Using and setting it up takes some effort. It's a bit more complex than I expected and getting everything in place wasn't easy.

Pros

“powerful automations”
Pros
Built for people who need more than a basic email sender. Its overall flexibility and depth make it a strong fit if you're trying to run more complex marketing processes. The automation side is especially powerful, letting you craft workflows that feel genuinely personalized while still keeping things efficient. On the organization front, the tag and list taxonomies are a big win. Sorting and managing contacts at scale is much more manageable than with simpler tools. I also appreciate that the API is well documented and flexible so it's simple to connect it with other platforms and tools.
Cons
Even with the feature set, the pricing situation has gotten tougher. Plan costs and the limits tied to each tier have climbed over time which makes it hard to justify for smaller businesses or anyone watching their budget closely. Performance has also slipped a bit for me everything feels slower and more complicated than it needs to be and that gets annoying when you want quick work. Reliability has occasionally been shaky too, with some features not behaving exactly as expected. While that's not always exclusive to this software, it's harder to ignore given the premium price. When you combine higher costs with reduced speed, it becomes less appealing for users who value cost efficiency and consistent performance.

“Modern UI”
Pros
It's super easy to use and the UI feels modern. The support team is very responsive and genuinely active and the documentation is clean and easy to follow. When we needed to connect everything, their development team was also quick to help us set up the integration.
Cons
Their automation and customization options feel a bit limited which is why we rely on another tool (like Keap) for most of our email sending. The developer side also doesn't seem as friendly as some other tools out there. Even though they were supportive during the integration build, once we ran into an issue, the help stopped so if anything breaks, it doesn't sound like they're able to troubleshoot or fix it right away.
