“Fair pricing”
Pros
Once you get the hang of it, the software feels simple to use. Like most tools, there's a learning curve but whenever questions come up, help is available. Pricing also seems fair for the features you get.
Cons
There's still a learning curve though it feels pretty standard for this kind of software.

“reliable tool connections”
Pros
User friendly and it links up with other tools reliably as there are no hiccups during connection or use. Overall, everything works smoothly when you're integrating it into your workflow.
Cons
Campaigns don't always go out exactly at the scheduled times which can hurt business outcomes. Also, there's a noticeable delay before employees manage to get in touch with you.

“Easy set up process”
Pros
There are lots of options and plenty of automation paths to work with. Easy setup process and good for everyday use so you can start building flows without too much friction.
Cons
Some parts can feel a bit confusing at times especially around the pricing. The jump from 1,000 contacts straight to 2,500 effectively doubles the price which doesn't feel very transparent.

“great choice for lead generation”
Pros
Goes way beyond simple email blasts. It's a solid automation tool that helps us nurture leads, strengthen customer relationships and push sales forward. I especially appreciate the ability to set up targeted email sequences, personalize messages and monitor engagement. The visual automation builder also makes it easier to design more complicated workflows without needing to write any code.
Cons
The sheer volume of features can feel a little overwhelming at the start. It does take a bit of time to browse everything and get comfortable with all the options it offers.

“strong segmentation”
Pros
Solid option for keeping one central contact list and sending out marketing emails and I primarily use it for exactly that. The segmentation and tag features are genuinely helpful for breaking your audience into different groups so you can send more customized, personalised emails instead of blasting everyone the same message. It's also encouraging to see them constantly rolling out new features that look promising. On top of that the click tracking which includes click throughs and privacy related clicks works really well making it easy to monitor the performance of the emails you send.
Cons
I'd love to have A/B testing (split testing) for the time an email is sent. At the moment if I adjust the schedule for one version, the other one changes automatically too so testing send time isn't really possible. A few areas of the software can be a bit tricky to figure out though it's not a deal breaker. After you spend a little time learning your way around, it becomes much easier to manage.

“efficient automation at a great price”
Pros
ActiveCampaign is a seriously powerful marketing automation platform. The feature set feels both strong and flexible and the pricing is competitive for what you get. As an agency and website developer, I especially appreciate how customizable it is when it comes to connecting with other tools and platforms. On top of that the product keeps getting better as there are regular improvements and updates that bring in new functionality.
Cons
Visual design and overall user interface don't feel as polished or as modern as competitors like HubSpot.

“Helpful drag drop workflows”
Pros
Automation is definitely the standout here. Lets you create really customized workflows, automate follow ups and organize your audience with smart segmentation plus the visual drag and drop builder makes it easy to put those pieces together.
Cons
Even though it's feature rich, the platform can feel a bit overwhelming at first, particularly if you're brand new to marketing automation. A number of the more advanced tools take some time to learn and the pricing on higher tiers may be tough for smaller businesses with tighter budgets.

“very capable system”
Pros
Having the ability to personalize emails, segment your audience and automate just about everything is great. It's genuinely strong for nurturing leads and turning them into customers. The automation workflows feel like a game changer and the reporting tools make it easy to keep track of results and performance.
Cons
Honestly, I haven't run into many downsides. The interface can take a little getting used to but after you adjust, the whole system feels incredibly capable and powerful.

Pros
I really like that it bundles a lot of different software functions in one single place so everything is organized and accessible from there.
Cons

“Quick campaign setup”
Pros
There's a lot of flexibility to get campaigns up and running quickly. The setup process also doesn't demand much technical know how which made it simple to get started.
Cons
Some of the form fields could be more customizable to improve the quality of the data collected. For example, it would be helpful if you could assign a field type and validate it as a phone number instead of treating everything as a generic value.

“affordable CRM”
Pros
Has a broad range of feature without having a big price tag and it holds up really well against HubSpot for day to day use. Everything seems to be included in one place so it doesn't feel like you're constantly missing something or paying extra for basic functionality.
Cons
The Lists section could use a bit of work to make it more flexible and I'd also like the ability to adjust criteria on the fly instead of having to redo things when requirements change.

“customizable automations”
Pros
After our first implementation, switching over to this ended up being pretty smooth thanks to the short learning curve. The platform also has genuinely strong task automations. Enough to handle routine marketing workflows like automated email follow ups without much hassle. On top of that the support team has been excellent. Responses and help feel high quality and dependable. The campaign metrics reports are another big win since they give clear, useful insights into performance so we can adjust campaigns and make them even more effective over time.
Cons
Everything seems well thought out. There's nothing unpleasant or awkward about any feature we've used so far.

Cons

“powerful analytics”
Pros
Marketing automations in this have been the standout features for us. They help us handle marketing tasks fast and still stay productive within short timeframes. On top of that the analytics and reporting tools are really versatile making it simple to see how campaigns are performing and what kind of return we're getting. During campaigns, engaging with audiences is easy thanks to the built in communication options.
