“simple contact import and search feature”
Pros
Its email templates are highly customizable and importing or exporting contacts is simple. Once your list is in place, searching through contacts and email history is quick which makes everyday contact management and communication feel a lot more organized.
Cons
More account customization options would be welcome. I reached out to AC support and they mentioned additional customization features are planned for the future.

“Support team is very unhelpful”
Pros
At the beginning, the app had promising features and it did work well enough to get started. After more than two years of using this, it feels like things have steadily deteriorated month by month.
Cons
Support for the WooCommerce Deep Data Integration Plugin has been frustratingly slow and often unhelpful. Responses can take literal months to address even the simplest of questions and harder questions frequently never get solved. The lower tier team follows a basic, non useful evidence gathering protocol that drags out the process and makes the situation worse plus they don't seem to read the tickets properly, then request details that are already included in the messages. Once a ticket is escalated to Tier support, it can go unanswered for weeks or even months or receive no response at all. On top of that the Deep Data Integration plugin still doesn't support multisite setups which limits usefulness for many clients and it also doesn't recognize refunds which is another major drawback. Overall, the WooCommerce data integration experience becomes very frustrating mainly because issues around Deep Data Integration aren't effectively resolved.

“Makes it easy to contact customers”
Pros
Being able to reach customers without too much friction is a big win for me. I can also track the insights in a way that actually helps and the automation setup feels solid enough to get things running quickly.
Cons
The email distribution options don't feel as polished as they could be and the navigation across the platform isn't the most user friendly which slows me down at times.

“Very user friendly automation”
Pros
You don't have to be tech savvy to use this since it's really user friendly. Setting up automations is easy and you can quickly take advantage of the built in email templates. It also feels cost efficient for what you get compared to other solutions.
Cons
There isn't anything I can think of that urgently needs improvement right now.

“reliable tagging”
Pros
I was searching for solid email management, landing pages and reliable tagging. After comparing options, I couldn't put together a similar setup with other tools without the total cost getting out of hand adding all the right pieces would have been way too expensive, while cheaper packages didn't really cover what I needed. AC ended up being the perfect middle ground for my situation.
Cons
Even though AC does a strong job with onboarding, there's still a fairly steep learning curve at the start. It would be awesome to see more contextual guidance things like tips, practical "recipes," and/or internal resources that help build out specific features I'm working on.

“responsive support”
Pros
The platform feels really easy to use and the customer service has been solid. Whenever I've gotten stuck or wasn't sure how to handle something, support has been quick to respond and genuinely helpful.
Cons
I'd love to have a custom message option for the unsubscribe link at the bottom of emails instead of relying on a generic note. Being able to design that message would make it easier to keep my branding consistent.

“Packed with plenty of features”
Pros
Packed with plenty of features that cover basic to medium needs without a fuss. The interface is simple to get around and the pricing matches what you actually get. Support has been just as good quick, helpful and on point.
Cons
Reporting can feel a little restrictive. I'd love more advanced tools to track what's happening especially around campaign activations, plus clearer status reporting for deals and contacts.

“Easy to use”
Pros
It feels easy to use and the templates are really solid. The reports are also excellent which makes it easier to keep track of what's going on.
Cons
The price might be a bit high for anyone running a small business. Another letdown is that you can't connect it and use all the e commerce related features within its Lite plan.

“Solid information management”
Pros
The functionality is strong especially when it comes to managing information and integrating with other partners. The way it handles data and connects to external partners makes the workflow feel more complete.
Cons
At times, the trigger descriptions are a bit difficult to understand. Also, it still feels like it's missing an integration with Facebook.

“strong marketing insights”
Pros
I really like how it presents information. It genuinely helps me optimize what we're offering. One big win is that everything is centralized in a single place so users don't have to juggle multiple tools just to manage records. It's also accessible from anywhere which makes day to day work a lot simpler. The marketing features are solid too. I can build and save lists of potential customers for any product or service, then send them targeted offers by email. On top of that the platform can be customized to track how each campaign performs so it's easier to craft more distinct campaigns and maintain long term marketing strategy. The charts, suggestions and reports make it much easier to make confident decisions. I also appreciate the way it improves content viewing and automatically tracks engagement across multiple social platforms which gives a clearer picture of how prospects and new customers are responding.
Cons
No technical problems showed up for me while using this and the interface is genuinely well designed and makes it easier to reach the different tools and reports. The only thing I'd change is that the work team could benefit from more hands on practice/exercises so they can fully use the platform and achieve the intended results.

“my experience”
Pros
Using this has let us easily build lead generation campaigns thanks to its page builder and the various features it includes. Pricing was the one thing that initially made us pause before committing but we're glad we chose AC for our sales funnel. This feels like a necessary tool and I'd genuinely recommend it. The workflow for capturing leads quickly clicked once we set things up.
Cons
Getting started wasn't smooth at first. The platform is built with a lot of detail but a few sections are a bit difficult to figure out especially parts related to emails, lists and how tags work. After we adapted it to our business though, the integration became much easier and everything started fitting together.

“Powerful CRM”
Pros
The CRM includes everything I was looking for. There's a good mix of features that keep our team organized and I can also customize it to match how our company works. When it comes to tracking contacts, tasks and emails for our admin staff, the customized fields have been a real win. Our marketing team benefits a lot from the automation and campaign tools and it's been great that these features connect neatly with the rest of ActiveCampaign as well as third party connectors. Compared to a basic CRM that couldn't meet our requirements, this one gives a lot more flexibility and options.
Cons
Email editor can be a bit temperamental with formatting. It would be nice to have a more advanced built in messaging feature for back and forth conversations with contacts and they should also expand what's available in the reporting database.

Pros

On top of that the support team has been both quick to respond and genuinely friendly. There's also a free trial available so you can test everything before committing. “automation visual builder is easy to use”
Pros
This tool makes it a lot easier and faster to design automations that align with your goals. The workflow feels well organized so you can get things set up without much friction.
Cons
Salesforce integration leaves a lot to be desired. Integrations are pretty bare bones and could be stronger especially compared to what you'd expect to avoid the usual integration headaches people run into with third party tools like Zapier.

Pros
Fits well into the other tools I already use for my business and the integrations are simple enough to connect without much hassle. Overall, it works well alongside my existing workflow.
Cons
Interface isn't very user friendly at first though support is there whenever I run into issues. One thing that varies by customer representative is the availability of video record options some provide it and some don't which can make it harder to fully understand their guidance.

“Easy to manage lists”
Pros
Managing contact and subscriber lists has been pretty easy and sending out my monthly emails is quick to set up. I've also been able to build automation flows that tie in nicely with Unbounce landing pages so everything stays connected. It feels reliable and the whole workflow runs smoothly especially when you're using it alongside Unbounce.
Cons
It'd be even better if the landing page builder were built directly into ActiveCampaign though the Unbounce integration is still pretty smooth.
