“Surprisingly affordable and simple to use
Pros
It's more budget-friendly than we expected and a lot easier to use than you'd think from visiting their site.
Cons
One thing I noticed is that the selection of brands is limited though the process for finding unclaimed funds seemed simple for both the community and general public.

“Way too terrible service
Pros
BoomTown Software color-coded system is really helpful.
Cons
The service is terrible and the website is frequently down for days or even weeks without any warning or explanation to users. This causes massive financial losses for realtors.

“It's deteriorating!
Pros
I was a huge fan of the platform back in 2016 but it has not changed much since then. My favorite improvement was when they finally let me edit my own pages directly.
Cons
It is deteriorating under new ownership who have not been transparent. Like there have not been any updates in two years and theyare forcing users to migrate to their new products while leaving this one to fail. So I would recommend researching alternatives before investing here.

“Unauthorized charges with no real leads
Pros
Well I dont have much positive to say since I bought this system for lead generation. After almost seven months, not one lead has bought anything or even called me back. I always have to reach out first and most just say they were only looking and are not actually interested in purchasing.
Cons
They make unauthorized charges to credit cards, applying random fees that only stop when you cancel your card entirely.

“Stay Away from BoomTown - Scam Alert!
Pros
I strongly recommend avoiding BoomTown. They're deceitful, unresponsive, and overall a nightmare to deal with.
Cons
After training ends, it's nearly impossible to get support from them because they suddenly become unreachable.

“DO NOT USE FOR REAL ESTATE
Pros
It's a pretty simple and SMOOTH system to grasp.
Cons
It's costly, and the leads are often low-quality, if they're even real. Their customer service is confrontational and unhelpful. The sales rep who initially contacted us lied about what we should expect. The flow of leads is abysmal and of poor quality. They hold you captive.

BoomTown is expensive. I wish I could get more leads for what I'm spending.

“BoomTown's Platform is Worth Investing in
Pros
Navigating the system is intuitive and user-friendly, contributing significantly to our operational efficiency and enhancing our interactions with clients.
Cons
The aesthetics didn't meet our standards, which led us to leave the platform. We also couldn't filter to our specific property types.

“Easy to use
Pros
I value the ease with which contacts can be added and monitored.
Cons
I would appreciate using my own phone number for my Boomtown number. This way, I wouldn't need multiple numbers that clients save.

“BoomTown is our lifeline & helps organize all of our database!!
Pros
What I love most about BoomTown is the ability to communicate via call, text, or email directly within the platform, with everything neatly documented.
Cons
There's not much I dislike, it's a fantastic product.

“Poor leads unscrubbed
Pros
It's intuitive and allows for extensive message customization.
Cons
Lead generation was disappointing. We received leads with fake email and phone numbers, and we had to pay for them. Their system doesn't verify email addresses. It's very costly to pay for such leads.

“Their leads are crap
Pros
The platform is exceptionally user-friendly and intuitive, catering seamlessly to both business and real estate needs with its straightforward approach and accessible functionalities.
Cons
I disliked their dishonesty! Nothing worked as expected. There was not anything I liked about it. They lock you in until your contract ends. Do not sign up with them!

“Great lead generation with a robust CRM
Pros
Managing leads, understanding their interests, and customizing properties to match their needs are crucial CRM capabilities this platform offers.
Cons
I wish customer support was more accessible via phone instead of relying on emails for responses. BoomTown should provide better accountability regarding how advertising funds are used, with more frequent feedback and suggestions for improving lead generation. As advertising experts, they should offer more transparency and accountability. I also wish I could delete contacts.

“I almost left them but...
Pros
Once you get the hang of it, BoomTown is incredibly user-friendly. Their preset drip campaigns are effective, though their property alert system could use a few more functions. The client interface is superb, making organization simple.
Cons
They mark valid emails as invalid. They claimed a hack caused all @mac.com and @me.com emails to be flagged incorrectly, yet I can send emails to those addresses from my Gmail account without issues. I can't tell if someone read a text, and it's hard to distinguish between invalid emails or phones and those that opted out, they should be identified differently. I'd like them to make it easier to include images in communications.

“Way over priced for the value
Pros
The website was decent, and its simplicity was appreciated, but considering the price, there are better options available.
Cons
The price was outrageous and didn't justify the value provided. Usually, a high price reflects the system's value, but not in this case.

“Boom Town is good, not Great!
Pros
My favorite thing about BoomTown is the lead filtering capabilities and its user-friendly layout. Once you're familiar with it, the automation makes everything seamless.
Cons
The biggest downside of Boomtown is its unaffordability for a solo agent. I also wish they offered print marketing templates.
