“Powerful authoring and search
Pros
The authoring and search features are amazing. Whether I'm in Procurement, Legal, or Commercial Management, I can quickly locate key risks and deliverables. The AI features coming soon for vendor contract reviews will be a game-changer. Legacy contract review is so much easier now because I can just run a report instead of digging through old documents.
Cons
The contract approval workflows can become overly granular in my experience if not carefully designed. I've seen multiple loops and excessive approvals when stakeholders don't delegate authority and the email notifications can feel overwhelming. I also noticed that the tool doesn't fix broken approval processes on its own and can end up replicating existing inefficiencies if implementation isn't handled properly.

“clause comparison and version control
Pros
One of my favorite things is the clause comparison and deviation tool. In some regions, Legal departments still review contracts manually which slows things down. Using this tool speeds up contract authoring. The ready-made templates and version control with QR codes make the signing process safer and faster for everyone involved.
Cons
As this was my first time purchasing a contract management system, I haven't yet identified any real downsides, since so far the flexibility of the platform has accommodated all our needs.

“Stable and customizable system
Pros
I like that I can correct rules on the fly and handle third-party updates without disrupting the system. It's very stable and customizable and I can make modifications based on user feedback quickly which boosts adoption.
Cons
One limitation I've noticed is the relatively weak e-signature integration compared to the overall strength of the tool and I'd also like bulk uploads to be much easier to manage.

Pros
I like that everything is tracked in one place and that contracts are easy to monitor concisely.
Cons
Some parts of the system are difficult for me to work with requiring too many clicks to complete simple actions and updating attributes or defined terms often feels unnecessarily time-consuming.

“Transformative cloud-based tool
Pros
Since implementing this platform in July 2019, it's completely transformed our CLM process. From raising requests to legal review and contract execution, the tool handles it all. It's a cloud-based system that efficiently manages agreements, obligations and the entire contract lifecycle. Audit trails, centralized repositories and obligation tracking make governance and accountability much easier. Overall it's a great and powerful system.
Cons
Pricing is another concern For me as the base product and the cost of new functionality should be more competitive with market standards.

“Well-designed dashboard interface
Pros
The dashboard interface is well-designed in my opinion and it makes critical data points easy to see instantly. It simplifies the contracting process and allows our team to perform better. Plus, the support staff is responsive and resolves problems quickly.
Cons
The platform feels somewhat restrictive when it comes to providing internal Tier 1 and Tier 2 support and I've found that relying on the vendor's support services becomes almost necessary.

“centralized contract management
Pros
Having all contracts in one central location is extremely convenient. The workflow for initiating contracts removes the guesswork that comes from sending documents back and forth via email. I can see exactly where a contract is in the process at any time, no more uncertainty.
Cons
The user interface leaves a lot to be desired in my opinion as it feels glitchy and tough for a modern SaaS application and adds unnecessary learning friction.

“single contract source but UI is not simple
Pros
I also appreciate having a single source of truth for all contracts. Every review cycle, including exception approvals and reasons, is recorded. The way the clause library and metadata are implemented is impressive.
Cons
From my usage the UI is not very simple and certain terminology can be confusing for non-legal users. I also feel there's a need for more out-of-the-box reports like basic turnaround time metrics, a stronger implementation team led by a business analyst and more flexible licensing options.

Scalability is the best part of this tool. Our account team partners with us on enhancements and updates as our needs evolve. Centralized documents, e-signatures and MS Word compatibility make it a complete solution for any organization.
Cons
I don't dislike the tool itself but enhancements can take longer than expected depending on coding complexity and I've experienced issues with speed, confidence during uploads and downloads and maintaining document changes.

It's a holistic solution for my team. In my opinion it is vital for organizations of any scale, ensuring that the lifecycle of all contract types is aligned and managed efficiently.
Cons
Based on my personal experience with ICM, support for regional languages beyond India would have been a big plus and having an effective built-in OCR capability would have added significant value.

One of the things I really like about this tool is its flexibility. Whether it's configuration, integrations, or the user interface, it can digitalize any type of contract, from Procurement to Employee agreements to NDAs. For us at SGBD, the possibilities for future development feel limitless.
