I think it's impressive for enterprise-wide use. I appreciate having one system across both buy and sell sides which makes updates, e-signatures, maintenance and role-based access much easier to manage.
Cons
Although the vendor was flexible and allowed customization maintaining those customizations during upgrades became tough. From my perspective the implementation team didn't guide us on best practices which meant spending a lot of time undoing earlier work and the overall implementation and onboarding process felt very long and tough requiring heavy user support.

Cons

The contract approval workflows can become overly granular in my experience if not carefully designed. I've seen multiple loops and excessive approvals when stakeholders don't delegate authority and the email notifications can feel overwhelming. I also noticed that the tool doesn't fix broken approval processes on its own and can end up replicating existing inefficiencies if implementation isn't handled properly.

Cons
While I appreciated the thoughtfulness of hosting us at a nice hotel, I felt uncomfortable with how expensive it was for just one night. I would have preferred more time spent hearing from the team about the system itself, how Soft Desk is managed and what we as customers can do to submit better, more effective tickets.

Cons
From my experience the platform lacks speed and consistency when uploading or downloading documents and it sometimes pulls older versions unexpectedly. I've also noticed that naming conventions and saved searches don't always stick and having to select the page view every time instead of defaulting to a 32-page view slows things down when I'm creating and searching through hundreds of agreements.
