User-friendly contract management

Pros

The tool is very user-friendly and easy to understand for my team. It makes contract management efficient and effective. Reports provide great KPIs, approval processes are simple and deviations, metadata and contract history are all tracked. I can even access it on mobile.

Cons

There's honestly nothing negative I can say here as I consider it one of the best products in the market and it has made contract tracking and change management much easier for our legal team.

cloud-based salesforce integration

Pros

Being cloud-based and integrating easily with Salesforce is another big plus for my team. For Salesforce users, there's no need to switch interfaces. For others, the UI is still easy to use and Active Directory integration is easy. Scalability makes it suitable for organizations of any size.

Cons

Having used the application for just over three months my experience has been positive so far and the trainers have been helpful though I may have more concrete feedback after spending more time with it.

inspired by user experiences...

Pros

I enjoyed seeing how other companies use this tool. Meeting the team and hearing the challenges and successes of other users inspired new ideas for our own implementation. Adoption issues we faced were echoed by others and learning their solutions sparked ideas for integrating this tool with Salesforce and eventually linking reports to Power BI which I'm excited about.

Cons

While I appreciated the thoughtfulness of hosting us at a nice hotel, I felt uncomfortable with how expensive it was for just one night. I would have preferred more time spent hearing from the team about the system itself, how Soft Desk is managed and what we as customers can do to submit better, more effective tickets.

Simple end-to-end configuration

Pros

Okay so... I also appreciate how simple it is to configure the solution, ensuring a simple end-to-end source-to-contract process. It enables process optimization and automation effectively.

Cons

Personally I have nothing negative to report as the solution has been very well received by our users during the current phase.

Simple app with great support

Pros

I love the simpleness of the app and having a great project manager and support specialist makes using the system even easier.

Cons

One limitation I've noticed is the inability to set priorities on defect tickets although this isn't an issue with the application itself.

Pros

As a leading aviation company we integrate this tool with Salesforce to manage thousands of contractual agreements. Its cloud-based platform supports numerous product templates and contract types. Sophisticated approval routing, efficient document version control, great search functionality and a highly responsive technical support team make managing contracts simple. The account team also partners with us for system enhancements as our needs evolve.

Cons

Enhancements tend to take longer than expected depending on the coding involved and I've found the UAT environment to be unstable at times although having the option to purchase a third environment has helped recently.

complete contract management at fingertips!

Pros

This tool is great with all contract aspects at my fingertips. I never have to search for files or worry about losing versions. I can review the complete approval process, track who signed, see the current status and know the next steps. The simple Salesforce integration allows me to manage all phases of a contract directly within an opportunity.

Cons

Reporting and exporting data hasn't been as easy as I'd like but I can see this improving with the rollout of the new analytics features.

Simple adoption and administration

Pros

In my opinion the platform is simple to use, easy to adopt and administer.

Cons

User adoption has been a challenge in my view, since many users are resistant to changing how they submit contracts and find the process more complex than what they're used to.

ease of use and great responsiveness

Pros

Ease of use, leading CLM technology, excellent support and responsiveness to our input make a huge difference. Workflows tailored to our approval needs have been a major win and the help desk is the most responsive I've experienced in any IT area.

Cons

Some parts of the user interface require too many clicks to reach the desired function and I've found the DocuSign integration tough enough that we prefer to use it outside the system, partly due to our internal processes.

Lacks speed and consistency

Pros

One feature I really value is the central location of documents, along with electronic signatures and MS Word compatibility. The attachment capability, record retention and dashboard providing instant status and performance metrics are also excellent.

Cons

From my experience the platform lacks speed and consistency when uploading or downloading documents and it sometimes pulls older versions unexpectedly. I've also noticed that naming conventions and saved searches don't always stick and having to select the page view every time instead of defaulting to a 32-page view slows things down when I'm creating and searching through hundreds of agreements.

Pros

Accessing all my customer Master Agreements and SOWs at any time of the day or night has significantly improved my productivity.

Cons

Cons

I've found that the notification option isn't very prominent and doesn't seem to be clearly linked to email IDs.

Pros

Cons

Top-notch customizable interface

Pros

In my experience the user interface is top-notch. I like that the customizable dashboard allows for a personal experience and quick access to important items. The help articles and videos, along with Freshdesk support, make it easy to get answers quickly.

Cons

What stands out to me is the absence of a built-in signing module which forces us to rely on a third-party provider.

central contract repository

Pros

Having a repository for contracts helps me ensure a simple transition as team members move in and out of roles, allowing me easy access without hesitation.

efficient agreement processing

Pros

Processing agreements has become efficient For me it eliminates the need to chase people for approvals or information.

Cons

I've experienced issues with some notifications landing in spam folders but aside from that, the product has been great.

Quick contract navigation

Pros

I love how easy it is to navigate contracts, allowing me to approve or reject them promptly.

Cons

When viewing my agreements in a list, I find the layout reads a bit like a run-on sentence which makes it harder to scan quickly.

Team collaboration and esignatures

Pros

Collaboration between team members has been very helpful. I also appreciate moving to electronic signatures and having everything kept in one place for future teams.

Cons

From my experience notifications sometimes go straight to the trash which is inconvenient. I've also noticed the system doesn't keep reminding users for approvals so I end up having to follow up repeatedly, creating inefficiencies.
