“Helped our emails work better
Pros
the marketing automation tool is the highlight , it simplifies running our email campaigns and provides in-depth customer-level insights. That level of detail lets me tailor messages more precisely so they actually hit what users are looking for and as a result I've seen our outreach become noticeably more effective overall.
Cons
the trial doesn't unlock every capability the full product has and that gap made me reluctant to sign on at first. After I went ahead and bought the full suite, though, I struggled to find serious issues and there really wasn't much left for me to gripe about.

“Looks nice but connects poorly
Pros
What really makes this platform stand out for me is its professional quality combined with an interactive, easy-to-use design. Compared with other marketing tools I've used, this one is refreshingly easy and practical without being overcomplicated. I especially value how it helps assess potential customer visibility which gives us meaningful insights into who we're targeting. The email campaign personalization is excellent , we can build distinctive, attention-grabbing templates that genuinely resonate with our clients. As a marketer, I'm confident this tool delivers the kind of performance teams need to succeed.
Cons
The CRM integrations are quite restrictive and it effectively only supports Salesforce which is annoying if you're relying on a different CRM solution. Pricing is also on the high side compared with other options available, even though I do recognize that you often pay a premium for more efficient marketing capabilities overall.

“I love it
Pros
the engagement tools and how everything functions is truly amazing, they make this product genuinely worth using. I find the interface so interactive that working with it has been truly enjoyable.
Cons
I can't come up with any faults for this tool. Its interface is highly engaging and simple to use, which makes it enjoyable to work with. I would absolutely suggest it to anyone in search of a dependable solution.

“Works fast but loads slow
Pros
It alignes our digital marketing workflows. What I notice first is its adaptability , it bends to fit organizations of any scale and packs a full suite of features that are clearly designed to help people hit their goals faster. I can take charge of, watch over and arrange our company's social media activity across many networks in real time without issue. The layout is super interactive and practically built for efficiency, so moving around it never feels like a chore. This solution has real upside and would suit any marketer wanting to step up their game.
Cons
reporting features are useful, yet the loading times drive me nuts , they're painfully slow. It's not something that ruins the whole experience but it becomes a real bother when I want to move fast and get tasks finished. Also the cost is on the high side, and I honestly think they should reconsider pricing so smaller teams can realistically afford it.

“custom-fit but old-looking tool
Pros
I manage all our digital marketing campaigns securely from a single dashboard and grouping leads by category has really smoothed out our processes. Managing content for our network marketing, email blasts and landing pages flows easily on the system. The Salesforce hookup is a major benefit , it keeps customer data synced and flags prospects automatically so we can present them with our top offers. What I value most is how much you can tailor the platform, everything can be tuned to fit our company's exact requirements. Plus, the library of templates is fantastic and makes everyday tasks pleasurable for the whole team.
Cons
The interface, to be frank looks very dated and it seems like updates haven't come around in a long time. I wish the whole thing felt more interactive and cutting-edge with clearer, easier-to-use features. its not very easy to use when you're new to it and support is not as responsive as I'd prefer. On top of that, the courses at Marketo University could do with a revamp to be more approachable and engaging for learners.

“Looks old but works smart
Pros
the personalization capabilities are very advanced and I really appreciate how simplely it integrates with our CRM. The system seems to anticipate content needs and feels very interactive which has smoothed out tasks like email management, audience segmentation and reporting. Its marketing automation is especially impressive , the way it handles workflows and overall campaign management is exactly what we needed. I've also been struck by the responsiveness of the support team, they are consistently available and quick to address any issues. Customizing campaigns is excellent, particularly when working with complex datasets and the wide range of third-party integrations is another big advantage when I tie it into our other tools it forms a nearly foolproof setup for our business.
Cons
Honestly the interface looks pretty dated and is in desperate need of a redesign , at this point it feels almost ancient. The licensing fees are on the high side and I wish there were a simpler way for me to try demos without having to jump through so many hoops. There's a clear learning curve here because the platform is fairly complex despite offering a wide array of features. Editing and managing emails isn't as interactive as I'd like, so I'm counting on future updates to improve that experience. The selection of templates is also quite narrow which is frustrating when I'm always confronted with the same limited options again and again.

“Great tools but hard to learn
Pros
the platform's email marketing tools , they rank among the best I've used. Running tests on dynamic content is easy and the deliverability analytics are exceptionally comprehensive. The email builder itself is simple to use too. What I appreciate most is the strong customer management capability. The quality controls for data flow make sense and I enjoy being able to assign scores and prioritize customers for our sales team to review later. Social channels tie in smoothly for managing campaigns and the calendar plus webinar tools are extras. The reporting features deserve praise , building tailored reports for our campaigns has transformed how I monitor results.
Cons
the Salesforce connection could be more simple and frankly its hard to use. With so many choices in the interface, newcomers need guided, step-by-step tutorials to begin. The built-in reports are comprehensive yet a little tricky to interpret , I wish there were simpler, more user-friendly tools to help analyze the data.

“good lead generation & email tools but bad UI
Pros
the platform's lead-generation tools are excellent at attracting new potential clients and its email marketing features make it simple for me to maintain regular communication with our customers.
Cons
To be honest, the reporting interface quite hard to use and overall the user interface is also dated and needs a fair bit of polish.

“Powerful but steep learning curve
Pros
Salesforce sync is more robust and configurable than Hubspot allowing us to assign period costs to marketing campaigns.
Cons
The interface of this feature-rich product is overly complex. There is room for improvement by streamlining the UI and implementing quick wins.

“Definitely one of the top Marketing automation tools out there.
Pros
Marketo possesses exceptional email marketing tools that stand out from the rest. Its intuitive email editor and dynamic content options are truly impressive. Additionally it provides comprehensive insights into email deliverability. Furthermore Marketo enables thorough customer research and analysis by various departments making it an excellent choice for managing customers. The software's user-friendly layout enhances the overall experience. Notably the reports offer personalized information on ongoing tasks and can be seamlessly integrated with social media calendars and webinars for running marketing campaigns.
Cons
Although I consider Marketo Engage to be the most comprehensive and well-suited solution for businesses there is room for improvement such as enhancing connectivity with Salesforce and providing tutorials. The steep learning curve caused by the complex interface makes it challenging for users with limited knowledge to navigate the program. While the built-in reports are extensive they can be difficult to analyze so additional tools within the program would be beneficial.

“A top-tier marketing automation service.
Pros
Unlike competitors like Hubspot and Pardot Marketo users enjoy greater flexibility in program and campaign administration. Adobe consistently improves its add-ons and compatibilities. Marketo serves as the central hub for our marketing efforts and we plan to integrate Adobe and other compatible products in the future.
Cons
Marketo is challenging to compete with due to its numerous components and there is a learning curve associated with maximizing its potential. Proper functioning of Marketo requires dedicated staff.

“Comprehensive tool for new businesses
Pros
It is incredibly thorough and it handles nearly every task I require. What really makes a difference for me is the support team, who are reachable whenever a problem arises and have been a huge help. Running a relatively new business, I've found the billing and pricing module vital for maintaining smooth, profitable operations. Messaging is snappy while the data integrations and automation tools both run reliably. The ability to share content and control subscriptions has significantly simplified collaborating with outside partners effectively.
Cons
I have not found anything to criticize about this software up to now.

“Connects everything perfectly!
Pros
This tool is amazing because it works with everything, including Adobe's software. It handles every type of marketing message perfectly, so it's the best helper I've ever had for automatic marketing.
Cons
It can be pretty tough to learn since it's really built for bigger companies. Honestly it's not the most engaging tool out there either. I've found it works best when you use it with other Adobe products but even then, the built-in analytics feel basic and could really use an upgrade.

“friendly but slow to start
Pros
I really like the platform. It's interactive and easy to find your way around. I learned it quickly and it's been a big help with our marketing to other businesses.
Cons
When setting it up, I needed a fair amount of technical knowledge and the whole implementation stretched out to about two to three months which I felt was a bit long.

“Centralized and customizable ai
Pros
Putting everything in a single place has made managing leads much more efficient for us. I'm impressed by the AI capabilities and I like that we can tailor the tools and email templates to fit our organization's exact needs.
Cons

“Unmatched flexibility for experts
Pros
Its very flexible and lets me build a huge range of different program and campaign variations that you simply can't pull off with tools like HubSpot or Pardot. I also value that Adobe keeps pouring resources into new modules and integrations. We have made this our central marketing hub and I'm looking forward to connecting even more Adobe products and other native tools as we expand our setup down the line.
Cons
Based on my experience, some parts of the platform feel quite old and could really use an update. Specifically, the Revenue Cycle Engine (RCE) and Analytics sections seem to need the most attention. After they updated the email deliverability tools, we actually lost many useful features we depended on before. While there are some clever features scattered around the platform, many of them are optional extras that cost more and the fees can become expensive very fast. I also see that our regular marketing team members find the user interface confusing and hard to get used to. Because of this, we usually have to ask our technical operations team to do most of the initial setup work which adds significantly to their workload.

“I keep learning new things
Pros
Support is the thing I appreciate most , whether I'm browsing community forums, messaging their support team or joining user groups, there always seems to be a way forward. I began using this platform early on in my career and keep uncovering features that broaden my abilities. What gets me excited is that it never feels like there's an endpoint, I always find something new to learn and refine, so my skills keep growing rather than plateauing.
Cons
A few minor workflow changes would make my day-to-day work a lot smoother , for example, being able to minimize all options at once or remaining in the same workspace after I approve emails instead of being taken back to the design studio. These small fixes would help.

“A visionary tool with sync issues
Pros
I've found the 360-degree customer view to be incredibly thorough and it gives me everything I need to really understand prospects. Because the system is built with B2B in mind, collapsing lead and contact records into a single 'Person' profile makes tracking individual people far less of a headache than juggling multiple object types. What genuinely impressed me was how the munchkin tracking cookie records every digital interaction , I can follow the whole customer journey across every touchpoint. On top of that, audience syncing with other tools and Adobe Experience Cloud is simple and reliable.
Cons
One major frustration for me is resolving CRM sync problems because there are few tools available to track what's happening or to produce meaningful reports. It gets annoying quickly when you can't see where things are breaking. Also, the pricing model being based on database size hurts , I'm stuck paying for a big pile of old records that I realistically can't market to.

“premium tool at a premium price
Pros
Working with this automation platform has been phenomenal. I genuinely understand why Adobe has such a strong reputation and this product truly reflects that. The finish and level of sophistication feel exactly as you'd anticipate from a long-established company and overall it's one of the most striking and capable marketing automation tools I've faceed.
Cons
I find the pricing to be on the pricey side but if you're after top-tier quality and long-term return on investment, the cost can be justified.
