“From Salesloft to Outreach: Escaping the Twilight Zone
Pros
The platform's design prioritizes clarity and simplicity, making it effortless to locate what I need without confusion. Automation is a key asset in Outreach. Its advanced automation capabilities significantly enhance efficiency compared to SalesLoft. We switched from SalesLoft because Outreach outshines it in UX and machine learning capabilities. It's made optimizing my sales processes as a manager incredibly simple and effective, guiding me towards the most efficient outreach strategies. Collaboration is also central in Outreach, fostering a culture of shared learning and success through streamlined teamwork and easy performance tracking.
Cons
Of course, no system is without its quirks. Outreach had its fair share of moments that made me scratch my head in bewilderment. But compared to the Twilight Zone-like experiences of SalesLoft, these were mere comedic interludes, where it became less of me banging my head against the wall and more about figuring out where I was going wrong.

“Pipeline Management and Customer Outreach
Pros
As an admin managing this software, I particularly appreciate the helpful and professional customer experience team. They've been instrumental in customizing the software to fit our specific needs.
Cons
This is overall a great software for customer outreach; however, the sales process it is designed for is account-based selling and not transactional, like our market (SMB).

“Good Sales Engagement Software
Pros
Seamless integration with Salesforce, smooth data synchronization, a reliable calling platform, convenient meeting scheduling, robust sequencing tools, and proactive support make Outreach stand out.
Cons
The reports available are not very complete or flexible. There are many limitations regarding filtering and changing views. Outreach doesn't sync directly to LinkedIn, so LinkedIn tasks exist in the CRM but work more as reminders than direct tasks. Conversational intelligence also has a lot of room for improvement.

“Unlimited options help sales teams succeed.
Pros
Outreach seamlessly integrates with our CRM system, allowing us to tailor it to our needs. It simplifies importing and exporting data and contacts, sending various materials, and managing customer responses across multiple channels. Its collaborative features and ready-made templates empower all team members to engage effectively. I also appreciate the organized data and comprehensive reporting features.
Cons
I've been using Outreach for a while, and it's virtually perfect. My only issue is with member-removed contacts, which are entirely deleted from the system and I don't need again. I would like to find an archive to easily restore deleted contacts.

“My experience with Outreach
Pros
This tool is essential for my daily activities. It's easy to manage leads, send emails, messages, and calls, and track daily tasks and engagements with prospects.
Cons
Sometimes it becomes difficult to make calls due to bandwidth issues even if I am on a high-speed internet connection. It fails to recognize and doesn't connect the call. This can be worked on more.

“Excellent software for sales teams
Pros
Multi-touch sequences, email templates, account management, and AI features for adjusting email sequences, all integrated seamlessly into a single sales engagement platform.
Cons
Annual contracts are very expensive for SMBs with an integrated sales dialer.

“Good engagement platform
Pros
Once you grasp how to use it, it's generally easy. The email tracking and integration with Salesforce and Gmail are solid, and the call recordings feed directly into Allego without issues.
Cons
There's just a bit of intuitiveness missing that you get with Hubspot and SalesLoft. It's extremely irritating that you have to get the spelling of names perfect and can't search for part of names, as it will return no results. A "similar to your search" feature would be helpful.

“Scrape, convert, manage and nurture
Pros
After using this software extensively, we now recommend it to students in our eCommerce courses because Outreach facilitates finding new customers and opportunities while ensuring everything remains under control. It's a valuable tool for scaling up businesses quickly.
Cons
There are no cons, but this is a tool that cannot be used only for a few minutes. You have to understand how to make the best out of it and use it on a daily basis.

“Good tool for email automation and tracking
Pros
It effectively connects with SFDC for importing contacts, offers useful settings options, and features a clear dashboard.
Cons
I need more features to create more personal messages, such as pictures and videos, with integration directly inside both with variables, compared to some competitors.

“Outreach is good enough
Pros
Streamlining drip campaigns (referred to as sequences in the platform), automatically monitoring prospect responses, and integrating smoothly with other platforms.
Cons
It's slow sometimes, additional integrations can be costly, it hasn't solved for autoreply emails, and campaigns can look like spam to the recipient.

“Outreach solves your purpose of everything related to Sales activities and reachout
Pros
Its standout features include user-friendly operation, a wide range of functionalities, task scheduling capabilities, integrated phone call options, and automated email scheduling. These elements collectively enhance productivity and streamline workflow management within the platform.
Cons
Phone numbers are not available for the APAC region. It's impossible to opt-in any of the opt-out contacts, so I have to manually send emails directly through Gmail to all opt-out contacts.

“I hate to write a negative Review but... this experience was so bad I hope to help you pick better
Pros
Unfortunately, after three months, I'm walking away from a $26,000/year contract with Outreach. They won't allow us to cancel, so I'm still paying for a platform we won't use. Their lack of client care is disappointing.
Cons
Using this software cut our call volume in half, leading to our worst sales month in 2 years. We had many problems getting set up, their software crashes, notes fail to save, HubSpot integration is a joke, and as a standalone, you lose features like the deal pipeline. You cannot sort by the last time called, their throttles don't work as explained, you cannot text, and the list of cons goes on and on.

“Best sales execution platform
Pros
Using Outreach has enabled us to automate our sales efforts effectively. We've integrated it with HubSpot to track all prospect activities. Key features like building email sequences, CRM integration, calendar management, and meeting scheduling have been invaluable in managing and controlling our customer data.
Cons
It does not allow me to create visually appealing emails. Its analytics dashboard is very hard to understand.
