Simple and effective automation for sales

Pros

This tool makes automating our sales process simple and effective. The system is very easy to understand and creating outreach sequences is a fast and uncomplicated process. Also its user-friendly design saves me a lot of time on routine work, letting me concentrate more on connecting with potential customers.

Cons

Some of the advanced features can be confusing at first and setting up complex workflows takes some time to learn. But once we get past that the platform works very smoothly.

A powerful platform that keeps us on target

Pros

Outreach Software is a powerful and outstanding platform that keeps our sales team organized, productive and on target. As an SDR, I rely on it for my daily tasks and would be lost without it. The reporting features keep everyone aligned, ensuring our communication is consistent and professional. I can also build my targeted outreach sequences rapidly and without any hassle. Having data to show which email campaigns are effective stops me from wasting effort and keeps me focused on what delivers results. I also know my work is secure and the single sign on access is seamless without constant re-logins. Whenever I have a problem, the support team is incredibly friendly and ready to help. They even offer an online university that helps me continuously improve my skills.

Cons

The platform can feel a bit complex sometimes and all the extra features can be overwhelming when we are just trying to do something simple. Creating lists with specific filters can also be tricky. Generally though it does everything we need, you just have to learn the method.

The top tool for sales outreach!

Pros

I have now used this platform at two different companies. In my view it is the top tool available. It connects easily with our CRM and other software, it is also adaptable for both small and large sales teams and you can build sequences with a mix of actions like manual tasks, automated steps and social outreach. This makes it highly customizable for any campaign and the dashboards let you quickly adjust your strategy based on results.

Cons

A few small problems can still be annoying like when undelivered emails stop our automated messages. But aside from those little issues, I am very happy with the platform.

Excellent core features

Pros

The main features are excellent, they do exactly what we need. The automation we can set up is fantastic and the integrations with our CRM work perfectly.

Cons

Well we expect a few more features in a tool like this especially for A/B testing and scaling. Plus better history tracking, version control and simpler sender authentication to avoid spam folders would be great. Though they are not deal-breakers but they would be very welcome additions.

Pros

Cons

easy to build structured outreach sequences

Pros

One thing I love is how simple it is to add contacts into sequences and build a structured series of steps. This ensures I am connecting with the right people at the perfect time.

Cons

Managing the sales pipeline is not its strong suit. I mainly use it for outreach but having better pipeline management tools would be a significant improvement.

Helps boost our sales!!

Pros

We credit this tool for helping boost our sales and distinguish our brand from others. Its analytics help us evaluate our company's strengths and areas for growth. It even speeds up customer communication by helping us share accurate information quickly. The online meeting and email features are invaluable and the email tracking is excellent for telling us when a client has read our message. This greatly improves our ability to adjust our sales strategy in real-time. Our planning before, during and after a sale has gotten much better, helping us maintain customer contact and ensure they are happy.

Cons

The cost is a bit steep compared to some other similar platforms but the advanced capabilities and seamless integrations with our other software justify the price.

Brilliantly integrated platform for SDRs

Pros

It connects with our whole suite of sales and marketing tools which makes it simple to embed the platform directly into a CRM for the SDR team. This means they do not have to constantly switch between different systems like Salesforce as everything they need is right in front of them.

Cons

The Salesforce link can be a bit finicky at times. Even though the support team is fantastic, getting the connector perfectly tuned for our workflow requires a lot of effort and fine-tuning.

Makes contacting potential customers much easier

Pros

This tool makes contacting potential customers much easier. My favorite feature is the Salesforce connection as from any customer's page, I can message them directly. Making calls is also simpler than with other tools I have used and I like that it automatically records everything I do.

Cons

I've run into some bugs with the app, including a crash during a client call. It definitely creates a frustrating experience when that happens.

Pros

Being able to design custom outreach sequences is my favorite feature, along with how simple it is to integrate with other systems and tailor it to our process.

Cons

Using the built-in dialer can be frustrating because at times it often feels slow to me and has a noticeable lag.

powerful system for targeted outreach

Pros

Finding potential customers by company is now much easier. This is very helpful when you are trying to reach several people at the same company. Using its automation tools also helps us contact more people with less effort.

Cons

It is a highly powerful but complex system. We spent a significant amount of time configuring it to meet our needs but once everything was in place, it worked incredibly well.

Helpful tool for contacts management and prospecting

Integrating scraping tools with Outreach for mass email marketing has been incredibly beneficial.

Essential for our ABM efforts

Pros

I regularly use Outreach to send bulk emails to selected customer groups, which are uploaded onto the platform. Outreach is remarkably intuitive. I can craft outbound email sequences, set up follow-up emails, schedule their delivery, manage spacing between them, and sync contact details with Salesforce, all with just a few clicks. It makes ABM much simpler for our team.

Cons

Initially, I found it not very easy to pick up, but it required minimal training.

Worth the Investment

Pros

Outreach.io is a tool that's simple and invaluable for our Sales Department. Whether you're a Sales Representative, in Operations, or a Sales Leader, it offers visibility into all activity metrics, keeps reps on track with daily/monthly tasks, and removes the guesswork from identifying prospects that need follow-up or prioritization in our outbound sales efforts.

Cons

Some aspects of the reporting functionality could be improved. For example, daily activity metrics have a 15-minute delay for pulling accurate data, making it hard to identify underperforming reps in real-time. Also, the reporting is limited in terms of filtering custom dates, so I can't pull total activity metrics for 3 months, which requires manual effort when reporting on quarterly activity goals.

Outreach updates are horrible and the CSM does not know the product

Pros

I used to appreciate its reporting and reliability, but with recent updates, none of that functionality seems to work anymore.

Cons

It's unreliable and constantly drops connections. The reporting is no longer live, and the CSM doesn't even know that we can transfer calls. It's worthless.

Surprisingly bad implementation of lots of good ideas

Pros

It offers a wealth of features and operates at an enterprise level.

Cons

We ended up canceling due to data syncing issues. We constantly had duplicates, inaccurate data compared to the source (Salesforce), and the field mapping feature was terrible.
