Simple interface, insightful analytics

Pros

Definitely, at the top of the list of similar tools I have tried. The interface is simple, lets me throttle send limits and the analytics are very insightful.

Cons

I'd like the inbox to refresh faster or have G Suite built into the platform. Moving between Reply for campaign management and the inbox for follow-ups can be somewhat tedious sometimes.

Walks through sequences well

Pros

I really appreciate that reply.io walks me through creating a sequence, offering tips so I can generate as many responses as possible.

Cons

For me, I wish every linked account could send a higher number of emails each day.

Tracks leads, replies from gmail

Pros

Setting up campaigns is pretty easy and I like how it helps me keep track of my top leads while letting me reply directly from my Gmail inbox. Also the Salesforce integration has been incredibly helpful for my workflow.

Cons

One limitation I have noticed is that the only available trigger to keep a lead inside a campaign is an 'if no reply' condition. I'd really like to see additional triggers that could redirect contacts into follow-up campaigns depending on what kind of reply they send. For example, a Gmail integration that lets me tag an incoming response and automatically move that contact into the campaign of my choice would solve this and add a lot of needed flexibility.

Gpt-3 builds templates properly

Pros

Everything about Reply.io impresses me. The way GPT-3 is integrated into building cold email templates really stands out and the AI powering everything behind the scenes feels unique it also provides useful insights that let me gauge how likely I am to get a response.

Cons

I recently tried Reply.io's new Data Extraction tool which advertises a 'Valid Emails only' filter and I have mixed feelings. Even though the feature isn't publicly released yet, I was lucky to be one of the limited users given access to the BETA. Sadly, much of the contact information it returned was outdated and invalid, including many addresses that were supposedly marked as VALID, so it didn't meet my expectations.

Onboarding helped is top notch

Pros

When I first started, the onboarding really helped because I had zero experience running email campaigns. the support team consistently shows up and fixes things they're polite and quick to respond. The company keeps rolling out new features.

Cons

I have noticed the occasional short outage of some features but those events have become increasingly rare lately. overall the platform feels a lot more reliable now for my needs.

Support blew me away

Pros

Honestly the customer support blew me away I have never come across service like that before. Beyond support, it's the most feature-packed SAT I know, with a thoughtful UE and UX that make it easy to use. Plus the native integration with our CRM Close.com is an absolute killer feature for our workflow.

Cons

LinkedIn automation isn't fully hands-off yet or at least I couldn't figure out how to set it up completely.

LinkedIn and email are both blocked

Pros

It is pretty comprehensive overall. That said, there are a ton of small things it cannot handle or that are buggy which makes using it frustrating. After signing up and canceling several times because it checks a lot of boxes, I keep ending my subscription since it fails in so many situations.

Cons

The worst part for me has been the LinkedIn automation as LinkedIn even blocked my account after I used the tool. My email inbox ended up blocked too. Because the product isn't user friendly as I find myself repeatedly contacting support for basic technical questions. I cannot recommend this tool. It would only justify the cost if it delivered on all its promises but it doesn't. Integrating with HubSpot was incredibly confusing despite my technical background and even after reaching out to support it barely functioned. I had to keep following up multiple times before getting any partial fixes.
