Effortless & powerful remote access system

Pros

It is easy connect to computers. I can organize the view to show which ones need user permission making it simple to find specific companies. The backstage mode lets me do updates without bothering the user. The built-in chat also helps me solve problems faster while I work on other tasks.

Cons

I have no complaints at all as this is a fantastic system.

Logging in and getting access is very easy

Logging in and getting access is very easy and happens almost immediately.

Cons

Brilliantly centralized management hub

Pros

The best feature is having all server and workstation consoles in one central location. It is also perfect for managing different business units or providing support across multiple countries.

Cons

One and only small problem I have noticed is that on a few servers, the connection sometimes drops and needs to be reinstalled to work again.

Pros

My favorite feature is the flexibility to connect either through a web browser or the desktop application.

Cons

The least favorite part was that the display was not very sharp when I was connected to a remote machine.

simple connection to remote machines!

Pros

It makes connecting to remote machines incredibly simple which I like the most about it.

Cons

There is one issue and that is we have to download updates pretty frequently.

Clean, feature-rich remote tool

Pros

I like that it is easy to install, has a clean design and offers many features with different ways to get things done. The backstage mode which lets you run commands and change settings without interrupting the user is especially helpful.

Cons

It had a few small bugs but honestly all software has those. I just wish it had some extra features like remote printing, showing each monitor in its own window, and recording just one screen at a time.

simple and secure access platform

Pros

The platform is very easy to use. We use it to give outside companies temporary access to our systems instead of using a complicated VPN. This lets our team members request access to specific resources for a limited time and we can run commands and check system details remotely.

Cons

Well the first-time setup can be complicated and confusing, especially when we were trying to set up user permissions and customize how the program looks.

Incredibly easy for finding and adding devices

Pros

Finding and adding devices is incredibly easy I mean just one click is needed whether you need permanent access or just a one-time support session.

Cons

I feel like creating groups of devices can be challenging because the filtering options are quite complex.

powerful and easy-to-deploy tool

Pros

ScreenConnect is great. It is very easy to install on many company devices at once using Intune. You just need to upload the installer file. Plus the feature that lets us lock the user's mouse and keyboard is very helpful when we need to fix a problem and they keep trying to use their computer.

Cons

The admin interface is not very simple. For example we had to search online to figure out how to disable desktop preview thumbnails which we felt were an invasion of our users privacy.

ScreenConnect is Good, But Could be Better

Pros

It excels in remote access to other computers, including your own. The support is reliable with no downtime.

Cons

Features like "Screen Blanking" can be quite cumbersome. Often, when I set the remote screen to blank out, my session ends up in sleep mode. When I return, the screen blank setting has been disabled, which is incredibly frustrating when I need privacy in a remote setting.
