Ideal for remote suport.

Pros

Establishing a session is easy, and I can view all screens. There are additional tools available for use during remote sessions.

Cons

File transfers can sometimes be tricky. If I have not used it in 7 days, I have to do 2FA to log back in.

Pros

ScreenConnect with CW is our go-to for observing user activity to better understand their issues. Starting and joining sessions is seamless, and disconnecting is straightforward, ensuring users know when I'm no longer viewing their screen.

Cons

Pros

It has allowed us to integrate all 100 workstations, enabling instant monitoring and remote assistance, hosting meetings, and resolving issues. The custom domain and splash screen add a professional touch.

Cons

The price is higher than it was originally with CWSC, but it's still worth it.

Good product that could use a few improvements

Pros

Managing unattended and remote access is simple. Installing agents on machines is simple and can be automated.

Cons

Some admin functions, like managing users/roles/security permissions, are not very intuitive and can be challenging to figure out initially.

ConnectWise ScreenConnect - The Wise choice for remote support

Pros

This product has significantly improved our department's ability to support teachers and administrators promptly across multiple locations.

Cons

There are not enough options for sorting devices. I can filter connections by device name, user account, or IP address, but having the option to sort devices based on their last contact date and time would help us monitor unused devices more closely in our schools.

Great product. Has some quirks

Pros

It offers numerous features like Backstage, file transfer, and high-quality remote access.

Cons

One thing I don't like is that you can't video record a single monitor when multiple monitors are in use. Sometimes, computers randomly get removed from our portal, possibly due to being paired with ITSUPPORT247. The most frustrating issue is being disconnected from a device once my connection time reaches 2 hours, even when I'm actively using it for a long period.

Cant user for Days on end due to their broken 2FA

Pros

Their support is almost non-existent.

Cons

Reliability is crucial, and the broken 2FA issue is a major deal breaker. It essentially renders the application unusable for days on end, and support takes too long to resolve it.

ScreenConnect Review

Pros

I appreciate being able to see software on the machine without logging in as the user and the ability to log in directly via remote desktop without needing them to join a session.

Cons

The expired token can sometimes be problematic. While I appreciate that it clears up if someone is no longer at their computer, I wish there was perhaps an idle timer instead of it happening unexpectedly while I'm in the middle of something.

Best remote access host I've used.

Pros

Deploying is simple, customization is easy, and the app's functionality surpasses other solutions I've tried (like AnyDesk, TeamViewer, Splashtop, and VNC).

Cons

There are some features that are missing, and they expect the community to develop plugins for them instead of doing it themselves. For example, the inability to "prevent users from initiating chat when the host is not connected" is frustrating. Despite numerous requests, they haven't implemented it for some reason.

Pros
