“Automation saves time”
Pros
I appreciate the ability to approve reviews and automate the process which saves time. It also helps that the platform connects with multiple review sources. On top of that, the widgets offer a lot of flexibility in how they can be configured, aside from the limitation mentioned below.
Cons
The long back-and-forth with support over the widget font not being customizable has been frustrating. They may have technical reasons for it but from a user standpoint, it simply doesn't work and looks awkward when a serif font appears on a sans serif website. That creates poor branding and honestly makes it frustrating to spend so much time discussing something as basic as fonts. We do not run into this issue with other iframe embeds so it feels like this is something other providers have handled better.

“Feature-packed review management pioneer”
Pros
It felt like one of the earliest tools in review management to really push the category forward. It introduced a lot of useful features, including review request forms, importing reviews from multiple platforms, testimonial sliders you can embed and the Wall of Love display for websites.
Cons
Back when it first came out as an LTD development moved at a strong pace and new features were being released regularly. The roadmap was packed with requests so it seemed like the product had a lot of momentum. Since then though, feature development has slowed down a lot. For example, pulling reviews from Twitter has stayed in the roadmap's "development" stage for about three years. Meanwhile, competitors that copied the concept have moved ahead, offering more complete feature sets along with a better overall UI/UX.

“Can connect with third-party review sites”
Pros
Being able to connect with trusted third-party review sites is the biggest thing I look for in a review app and it handles that really well. It's simple to link platforms like Facebook and Google, then showcase those reviews on my clients' websites in different formats. The widgets, badges and Wall of Love have all been very effective and my clients have had a lot of success using them.
Cons
What would make it even better is support for Yellow Pages so those reviews could also be pulled in and shown across the different Endorsal widgets and displays.
