Email notifications are sent after the backup but if the server fails these notifications do not arrive. It would be beneficial for the cloud side to send an alert if the backup does not occur at the scheduled time. The pricing is reasonable and the operation is simple.

The solution used to be excellent, but over the past year or two, the service has gradually declined.

Cons

The service used to back up servers, Microsoft 365 and desktop machines, but the Acronis agent caused two virtual servers to become unbootable. Support was virtually nonexistent and a week was spent diagnosing the issue, which turned out to be the agent software. During that time, attempts to restore one server also failed, leading to a decision to move away from Acronis, as it cannot be relied on in emergencies. Days can pass before the support team responds to tickets, which is unacceptable when a server is down due to their product. The agent issue remained unresolved after over two weeks of back and forth, resulting in only four or five responses.
