ManageEngine Endpoint Central Features
Vulnerability Remediation
The UEM continuously scans systems for vulnerabilities and prioritizes them by severity, exploitability, and age. It lets IT teams deploy mitigation scripts, apply proactive patches, and receive zero-day alerts. The system also audits firewall and antivirus settings, flags insecure apps, and detects misconfigurations.
Application Control And Privilege Management
This feature enforces strict access policies by blocking unauthorized software and executables. It supports time- and role-based privileges, allowing temporary admin rights when necessary. App-level VPNs ensure secure tool access while reducing insider threats and supporting least privilege practices.
Remote Access And Troubleshooting
Endpoint Central enables IT teams to securely access devices via tools like file transfer, screen share, and command prompt. Sessions are audit-ready with recording features, and technicians can collaborate live. Extra tools include system messaging, disk cleanup, chat, voice, and video support.
Asset Management
ManageEngine Endpoint Central features asset management to help users gain real-time insight into device age, hardware specs, and software licensing. It alerts teams on expiring warranties, unused licenses, or unlicensed tools. Features like USB control, digital certificate tracking, and geofencing help prevent data loss and unauthorized access.

“User-friendly & great value”
Pros
So far it is very user-friendly, gives great value for the money and is reliable. The customer support is fantastic and having all tools in one platform with a cloud version available is a huge plus.
Cons
It would be helpful if the trial period were a bit longer. Also it would be great to see a plan introduced that's tailored for very small businesses with only four or five devices.

“easy to use tool”
Pros
It's easy to use and I love that it lets us fix so many application vulnerabilities, exactly what my company needed! Software deployment is simple and having remote control for Linux is good too. The inventory and device management features are also very straightforward.
Cons
even though software deployment for Linux is smooth it could still use some improvement. Sometimes applications just don't install, and we've run into similar issues with certain Linux patches.
