Onehub is my go-to for sharing documents. We deal with patents, so making sure our info is secure when sharing it with attorneys is important. Onehub gives us the security we need.Customer service is awesome. I am not that tech-savvy, so their support made it really simple for me to use.

There is nothing to dislike. I absolutely love Onehub. Nothing else compares.

Pros

Setting it up for clients was easy. I love how you can assign roles to different clients, and getting around the software is easy.

Cons

There were some quirks here and there, but I do not recall exactly where. Support got me through everything I needed quickly.

It is so easy to use, simple and efficient for most files and makes working together easy. The VDR and FTP features are my favorites. You pretty much just set it up and it works like magic.

No real issues. If there is anything to mention, the UI looks a bit outdated, and new users might find the software unfamiliar, but that is about it.

Onehub starts out as a great document storage solution and turns into an awesome data room product. You can create multiple data rooms for different purposes. I have used it in my last three companies and with three other companies where I am on the Board.

The access and permissions system is unclear. It is easy to make a mistake when sharing.

You can invite people to share files and control exactly what they can access.

It would have been good if there was a workspace sharing feature. It would be nice to create data rooms using documents from our secure repositories, so we do not have to update in two places. Also, I wish we could adjust the watermark density, as the default one can obscure certain documents. Finally, it would be great if invite links did not go to Spam folders. Maybe there could be an option to disable links or send the URL through a standard format.

It is super easy to connect to your bank, subcontractors and statements. I love having all my info in one place so I can easily find payments and receipts.

The screen features seem a bit outdated.

This is the best server we found for the price. No issues at all, especially when using it with FTP. We are so glad we found OneHub.

I would like to see categories for different vendors. It would be helpful if each vendor had their own dedicated file.

No major downsides. The biggest thing is probably explaining to users how to set up FTP.

We use it as a client portal, and it is super easy to upload and share files with clients. We also use it for an educational subscription service, and our clients say it is much easier to use than a full website for finding and downloading files.

The tool feels a bit behind in design. The UI lacks some basic features that other similar software have.

My clients can easily access their docs on both their PC and phone app. They upload tax docs throughout the year and ask me questions whenever they need to. The email notification feature is a win-win for both me and my clients. Setting up new clients only takes a few minutes.

There are no customization options, especially within the data rooms.

I use it for my small accounting business. I have different file structures for my clients and can easily give people access to specific folders. It works perfectly for me and my clients.

It can be tricky explaining to clients where to find their tax info since it is not a tool they use every day. One solution I came up with was adding a link to my email signature. Some clients also use it for personal data backup, which I resolved by billing them the annual OneHub fee, and the problem was solved.

Pros

Transferring documents is easy with a few different options, and I like getting notified when clients review them.

Cons

I wish I could store files inside a folder without making a new folder. Also, newer copies overwrite the previous ones, but the old versions are still there unless I choose to delete, which makes sense considering the limits and restrictions.

it is easy to setup and use. The same features that made it convenient for us to get started also made it convenient to bring on additional users both within and outside our organization. Its also significantly more affordable than other software in this category.

There was a time when document processing was delayed by hours. Not a huge deal but honestly it's the worst I've had with the service.

The interface is user-friendly and easy to navigate with options for project creation and file management plus a feature to review recent activity.

It does not let you make subgroups or user groups with restricted folder access. Plus it doesn't give admins enough control over managing permissions and restrictions.
