Adobe Express Features
AI Assistant
This is a conversational editor built into the canvas. Users can describe an edit or design task in plain language, and it handles layout spacing, alignment, brand colors and fonts (when a brand is attached to the prompt), animation, along with navigating multi-page documents. It can also swap text inside images, including headlines or signage in photos, and match the surrounding style automatically.
Video Creation And Editing
Adobe Express' timeline-based editing covers layer reordering, audio extraction, alongside auto-captioning in a brand's fonts. Clip Maker cuts long-form video into short clips, Firefly can generate video from a text prompt, and finished content publishes to YouTube directly through Content Scheduler.
Commercially Safe AI
Firefly's models are built to be safe for commercial use, and Firefly Foundry lets larger customers train custom models on their own creative library. But here's a caveat worth noting: this is an enterprise option for teams that want brand-specific generation, not general outputs.
Content Scheduler And Social Publishing
Content Scheduler plans, previews, schedules, and publishes to Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and - as of August 2026 - YouTube. Shared calendars keep publishing schedules visible across a team, and AI-generated captions are available from within the scheduler itself.
Asset Resizing
With this feature, a single design is resized for every channel (be it X, Instagram or Pinterest). AI expands the background to fill new dimensions rather than cropping awkwardly. In turn, the resized version doesn't need a manual touch-up before it goes out.

“Completely transformed my creative process”
Pros
Whether you are new or experienced Adobe Express just clicks. Also it is smooth, easy to learn and pretty perfect for content creators at any level.
Cons
The generative AI feature still needs improvement. As it is not quite producing content without obvious issues but I hope it gets better in the future.

“Like no other”
Pros
There is something about Adobe that just feels familiar. It has been my go to for years. First in college and now at work. Plus it is incredibly simple to use and they keep rolling out cool new features all the time.
Cons
Since I am only using the free trial the features are pretty limited. It kinda feels like it is nudging you toward paying especially if you handle complex projects once in a while.
