Not the one to choose

Pros

Scheduling and accessing account information are easy.

Cons

The reporting from the billing side is severely flawed and the live updates don't match the numbers on the EHR side.

Advanced MD Review

Pros

The feature I find most valuable is the ability to electronically send controlled medications.

Cons

The inability to assign a patient to a room directly on the schedule screen is a major drawback of this system. Additionally it lacks the capability to prescribe multiple medications at once. Moreover, there are too many unnecessary clicks to navigate where you need to go. Setting up or customizing notes and other elements takes a significant amount of time and causes stress.

AdvancedMD

Pros

The product is anything but difficult to use. Our clinicians found it easy to use and user-friendly. We are able to do our own billing which helps us save a lot of costs and it enhances our ability to receive payments within time. The care staff has consistently been helpful and their training staff is outstanding.

Cons

The support team should be prompt in responding at all times.

Advanced MD Billing

Pros

One thing I really like is how easily I can find the daily remittances. It keeps track of the Accounts Receivable (A/R) on a daily basis. There are various reports available to monitor the financial health of the practice.

Cons

While some reports can be created if you need a specific report that isn't already in the software, it could take a year for the company to create it for you.

Mo' Money, Mo' Problems.

Pros

I really like the pricing options especially the per claim pricing which many companies do not offer. The Chrome support is steadily improving.

Cons

The software claims to support flexible workflows but in reality every adjustment leads to a frustrating accumulation of inefficient processes.

Best PM Application out there - HANDS DOWN! NO COMPARISON TO OTHERS THAT ARE CURRENTLY OUT ON THE MARKET - I KNOW.

Pros

This application has everything I need and it would take a while to explain all the specific reasons why it's superior. Lets start here... Everything is neatly organized and flows logically. The buttons are in their rightful places and the entire process is seamless. As an expert in system efficiencies this is the only application that truly meets my standards. I can even access the online app from home.

Cons

Um... Thats the point. I swear to Jesus, knowing me and my critical nature it shocks me that I can't find anything to write about... AdvancedMD is the complete package. I have no complaints about the support team or the applications. However, I wouldn't recommend AdvancedMD for physical therapists. That's it. It's not the best application for PT or DME, but for all other specialties, it's the best.

Pros

Once you put the necessary infrastructure details it works quite well. The pricing has improved allowing for more flexibility. The support provided is decent.

Cons

There are some software bugs that should not exist in such a mature product.

One of the best customer services

Pros

One of the best features so far of AdvancedMD has been their customer service. I sometimes have to wait for support to call me back to help resolve an issue but usually the wait isn't long and they provide a swift solution that quickly fixes the problem.

Cons

A confusing part for us during implementation was the variety of tiered software packages available. We learned the hard way that it's essential to maintain clear communication with the sales representative so the specific package level we end up purchasing actually includes the access and features our team will require moving forward.

Retracting previous poor review.

Pros

This product remains the only one I have found that can handle all our requirements, including telemedicine, EHR, customized forms and customized schedulers. I did have a negative experience with the sales staff in the beginning which influenced my previous poor review. However I was contacted by Landon who apologized and handled the situation professionally. Despite my frustration, Landon listened to my concerns and promptly addressed them. He went above and beyond, showing me that my negative experience may have been limited to a single salesperson and should not reflect the entire company. We've added more providers, and the implementation team has been incredibly helpful in navigating new forms and updates.

Cons

Well I have encountered some issues as mentioned but the team always resolves them. Its not a con but I would suggest that the support team improve. One bad team member can cause trouble for the entire company.

Advanced MD

Pros

We have been using this product at our clinic for 10 years. While it is user friendly still there is room for improvement. Nonetheless the support staff is pleasant to work with.

Cons

However one thing I didn't like is that the support team takes forever to resolve an issue. Almost every time we end up resolving the problem before they even call back.

Product works fine as long as you dont need support

Pros

The software works fine. I really like the patient portal and the functionality associated with it.

Cons

They have the worst customer service I have ever dealt with, they dont care about the customers and also baked out on their agreement. In the end, I had to terminate the agreement.

Great system!

Pros

Out of all the systems my company has tried this one is undoubtedly the best. It allows for customization with templates ensuring it fits our specific needs. The individuals we have interacted with have been friendly and extremely helpful.

Cons

I have no major cons. We are still discovering the amazing features it has to offer and loving it.

Sales Team Lies!!

Pros

Once you become familiar with it, its quite a good product

Cons

The sales reps are shady. Dealing with them feels like dealing with a used car salesman. They will say anything to make a sale.

Great Solution for Practice Management and Billing

Pros

The software includes numerous built in claim scrubbers which catch more errors before submission. Cleaner claims lead to faster payments. Their clearinghouse, McKesson is one of the largest in the country, resulting in quicker claim processing. If you opt for the paid reporting features they surpass any other billing software we've encountered. The customization options are extensive and worthwhile if you invest the effort to tailor them to your practice.

Cons

Setting up the system can be a bit confusing. More features mean more time for our billing team to adjust. Their A/R module is confusing to use and has its fair share of problems. Due to the software's extensive customization options, their support team is often unfamiliar with all aspects of the software.
