New User-still working my way through

Pros

I appreciate its comprehensiveness. The fact that it's cloud-based is great, although the phone company hasn't connected the phones yet. :(

Cons

It would be great if there was another purchasing option for small clinics with three users instead of just two as the price doubles when adding an additional user.

Great for small spas

Pros

Its user friendliness makes it easy to train new employees.

Cons

Managing backend accounting can be tricky with the software. Additionally tracking consultations and conversions is not simple especially for a sales oriented spa like mine.

Very Useful for Med Spa

Pros

I really like tha fact that it is a cloud based system that allows me to access it from anywhere be it home or my cell phone. The "ticket" feature is also great as all my concerns are handled promptly and efficiently.

Cons

Whenever I come across any cons I reach out to tech support and they promptly fix the issues. For example I could not access the VIP reward certificates that were emailed but they resolved it. Thank you!

Happy User

Pros

It is user friendly. It fulfills all our Medical Spa software needs. The Customer Service team is excellent, always providing quick responses. The team served us well. They are passionate about the software and eager to explain its functionality.

Cons

The reporting capabilities are lacking and certain features included in the package do not fulfill their purpose

Great feature at a great price

Pros

From an end user perspective I was able to navigate this system intuitively right from the beginning, making the implementation process nearly painless. When it comes to operations new staff members can quickly develop a high level of competence compared to other systems I've trained them on in the past. Having a system that is easily adopted by staff allows them to work more independently, giving me, as the owner/operator, the freedom to steer the business as a whole. In terms of the patient experience, while some people may struggle with technology, for tech-savvy patients, the system provides exceptional convenience. From a fiscal standpoint, the accuracy and richness of the data I can extract are superb. I can make informed business decisions based on metrics, and forecasting becomes much easier with meaningful drill downs. Theres no guesswork involved.

Cons

There are two specific things that I believe need significant changes. Firstly the systems appearance could use a makeover. While it functions well I think it should have a sleeker and more aesthetically pleasing look. Mainly considering its target audience in the beauty industry. Secondly I feel that the marketing material could also use some work. The image library feels outdated and the templates are not very user-friendly. I have a lot of my own material in various formats like JPEG, PDF, and links, which I would like to incorporate into the marketing template. However the process is difficult, and the templates themselves are challenging to navigate. For instance, when I select a color for one area, intending to use the same color for consistency in another area, there's no way to determine the exact color for my next selection. I have to guess based on where I last placed my cursor on the color gradient. Overall, these aspects require attention and improvement.

Wish we could have made it work

Pros

The aspects I like the most about the software are ease of use, promptness of customer service replies and cost

Cons

The software is filled with glitches that have nothing to do with user error. I spend several hours each day trying to solve problems within the software. It has multiple display errors and other impractical issues that make it frustrating to work with. For example, whenever I include three staff members in an appointment, it inexplicably triples our inventory, which doesn't make any sense. Moreover, the records often fail to save all the data and diagrams, even though I make sure to save and use the recommended browser. When I go back to view the records later, they are incomplete, and this happens with multiple charts. I even recorded our staff charting and saving, and we received confirmation that everything was saved, but upon revisiting, a significant portion was missing. These are just a few of the many problems we have encountered.

Experience as a new user with Aesthetic Pro

Pros

The software is easy to use and the front desk options are quite good. It would be even better if they had some basic features. Firstly a retention report for practitioners would be beneficial to assess provider retention when reviewing employees. Secondly marking a patient as "in session" should be available not just the "arrived" option. Also pop up notes should appear when booking an appointment.

Cons

I agree with all the points mentioned above but the biggest issue for me is checking in new clients. Presenting an arbitration agreement as the first thing for patients to fill out on an iPad is awkward and off-putting. It would be better to start with contact info and medical history. Additionally, the ability to upload our own consents is still unavailable, even after waiting for six months for the promised form editing tool. The current charting system is a nightmare.

Pros

It has a wide range of features that allows smoother clinic operations overall.

Cons

The app is no available and it makes scheduling appointments from our phones difficult. It also does not offer a few features, requiring manual work. For instance entering discount codes or running specials like BOGO1/2 on products involves complex input and calculations.

Good product but still with some flaws

Pros

The customer support is the greatest. They respond to your questions within hours. The financial and administrative reports are excellent and the interface is relatively easy to navigate. I love that it's an all in one fully integrated product that caters to all my needs.

Cons

It is somewhat expensive and the client portal lacks intuitiveness. Sending email blasts becomes costly when exceeding the limit and integrating online appointments is very difficult.

Overall Great Program!

Pros

The program setup was simple and the training videos were excellent guides throughout the process. The account specialist was also very helpful in answering all my questions and displayed great patience.

Cons

I wish AestheticsPro had training videos specifically for estheticians and providers on navigating the program. The existing training videos focus more on admin set up and are quite long which is great for me as an admin but I'd prefer shorter videos for training my staff.

Once you get used to the software its pretty simple and easy to use.

Cons

The software does not work well with Google Chrome as it glitches. Printing from an iPad is also challenging as the option is either not available or doesn't print correctly.

Great Sales, Terrible Customer Support and Follow Up

Pros

The sales team did an outstanding job promoting their product. They are excellent salespeople.

Cons

The cost is high and there is no flexibility or willingness to address customer issues. We were basically told that we had a bad experience and they have no desire to help or resolve our problem. They are strictly enforcing the contract.

Superb

Pros

There are so many things I love about this software right now. One of my favorite features is that it prevents double booking of machines. We have one hydra facial machine, and when I schedule one aesthetician under it. the system automatically prevents me from booking another person at the same time with that machine. It may sound old-fashioned, but I find that impressive. Although we haven't started using this software yet, we're seriously considering it. I adore the design and layout, and the customer service is beyond compare. They are highly professional and incredibly kind.

Cons

I do not think we would ever be able to use the patient portal and that is fine. Everyone has their preferences, right? The good news is we don't have to use it! I also hope that we can view patients future appointments, as it's crucial in our office with our lovely patients.
