Easy to set up and customize

Pros

Aesthetics Pro is easy and simple to set up. You can easily customize the templates for your practice and the support team responds very quickly. My experience has been entirely positive since I switched over two years ago.

Cons

The client reminder system is too limited as you can only schedule one automatic reminder. As we know these days, sending multiple reminders is essential. So it would be very helpful to have the option to set at least one to three reminders in the settings.

A professional and smooth process

Pros

Getting started was a professional and smooth process. The staff is very helpful and provides fast responses. The system is user-friendly and I love the wide selection of consent forms and treatment records available.

Cons

I'd like the reporting to be more customizable, allowing me to filter by specific products or staff members without relying solely on the line item report. I also wish we had more credit card processor options besides just Gravity and WorldPay so we could compare rates for lower fees.

Exceptional and quick customer service

Pros

The customer service is exceptional! They are always quick and attentive. Whenever we have any problems, we submit a support ticket and they handle it immediately.

Cons

Nothing major but I like it more if the charting feature was more systematically organized. We would also prefer having more advanced tools available in the marketing section.

truly caring customer representative

Pros

I love my customer rep as he truly cares and helps in every way he can. I am so grateful he is my main contact at AP. As it is rare to find such genuine customer service but everyone I have worked with at AP has been wonderful.

Cons

The initial setup has been a bit challenging for me personally due to my own time constraints. But I realize every practice is unique, so this process is necessary. They have given me all the tools but it just demands more time than I have available. Despite this, I would still recommend it to another provider looking for this kind of service.

Very user friendly and efficient

Pros

The system is very user-friendly overall. We have tested other platforms and Aesthetics Pro is the most efficient for scheduling and rebooking appointments.

Cons

It gets complicated when booking a client who is seeing multiple providers in one visit. Tracking package usage can also be confusing. Also I noticed during checkout, if a client uses a prepaid service and adds another, the invoice does not automatically adjust the prepaid service to zero, so you have to manually check to avoid overcharging.

great reminders and patient help

Pros

They were excellent with reminders and made sure our call was productive. I mean they patiently answered all our questions, even with most of our team on the line which can be a lot to handle.

Cons

My only minor complaint is that support calls come from a generic 1-800 number with no business name displayed on my caller ID. This could be an issue on their end or mine.

Unmatched customer service and training

Pros

The customer service is unmatched. Also the initial and ongoing training is very well-organized and communicating with the team is easy and whenever we need help troubleshooting an issue, the response is always fast.

Cons

Continuous improvement is important in any tech field, especially in medicine. So adding features like e-prescribing or lab interfaces would really help streamline patient care, even in aesthetics. Plus the rollout of prescription capabilities seemed delayed and did not keep up with competing software.

Simple and highly configurable platform

Pros

I love how simple the platform is to use while still being highly configurable. Plus having a built-in marketing tool is a great bonus and the support staff sets a fantastic example for customer service.

Cons

The platform is missing some integrations and features I'd find useful and a few bugs are frustrating. Plus I cannot view a complete client list, see replies to appointment confirmation texts or customize the look of the booking pages. I have also found some menus and editors awkward to use.

Genuine commitment to smooth transition

Pros

They showed a genuine commitment to helping us transition smoothly and have continued to support us through any challenges. Plus support team has been a huge help as we continue to get fully onboarded.

Cons

According to me the form library needs work, the pre-built forms require significant editing and many standard services for a med spa or wellness clinic do not have forms available at all.

polished platform with incredible setup support

Pros

The polished, professional look of the software and the incredible support during setup were major highlights to me. The library of templates for documents, care instructions and consent forms was extremely useful too.

Cons

I have not found anything I dislike so far. Sure configuring all the forms and learning the program took some time but the process itself was not difficult.

Very easy to manage platform

It is very easy to manage! Plus we love being able to customize our treatment logs and we really value how quickly the support team responds to our tickets.

Cons

The only downside is the password policy requires us to change our login credentials more frequently than we are accustomed to.

Pros

The training session started right on time and was the perfect length. The trainer answered all my questions and showed me parts of the dashboard I was not aware of.

Cons

I was not able to schedule a training session right away. I mean I'd prefer having a support person available on-call for immediate guidance when I need it.

Cons

customer service is amazing

Pros

The customer service team and the new Aurora platform are both fantastic.

Cons

This was not a major issue for me but AP is built to track inventory for services priced per unit or syringe, while my practice uses a fee-per-area model. This made inventory tracking tricky initially. But thankfully, the amazing support team helped us create a workaround. Also it would be amazing if a future update could natively support both pricing structures for seamless inventory management.
