Glitchy with a trapping contract

Pros

Getting started was quick and building forms is a pretty simple process.

Cons

The platform is glitchy and does not offer much flexibility. They trap you in a one year agreement which is buried in the long contract they give you. Getting help from support involves a lot of lengthy conversations and some problems take months to get fixed. Plus you also ca not customize the alerts for different types of services.

really simple for staff and patients

Pros

Both my staff and our patients find Aesthetic Pro really simple to work with. Their support desk is amazing too because they reply so quickly. My account manager is also so attentive, kind and always ready to assist. She does far more than required whenever there is a problem with our access or a billing question. So I would absolutely recommend it to anyone!

Cons

There is nothing bad to report. I am a fan of the software and I am completely happy with my decision to use it.

Pros

Finding my way around is so simple. The whole layout just makes sense.

Cons

The live chat support and the user friendly features are what we really enjoy about this platform.

Cons

A couple of features we are missing are a live chat function for clients and an integration with a patient financing option.

Easy setup with great tools

Pros

AestheticsPro setup was pretty easy and I love having so many different tools to pick from. Plus the way it handles uploading photos and consent forms is especially great. We are still new and have not used it with clients but from what I have seen, it looks very simple.

Cons

The most frustrating part is that if you make a change to a consent form, it does not automatically update for the services you have already linked it to. As it took me forever to assign all the consent and care forms to the right services, so fixing this would be a huge improvement.

misleading setup and hidden fees

Pros

The salesperson who convinced me to buy it was really good at her job.

Cons

As per me the setup process was misleading because they promised to guide me through every step and then did not. Now after having to let most of my staff go, I do not have time to rebuild and they are trying to charge me a previously undisclosed early termination fee of over $700.

Pros

For the majority of tasks, it is simple to use though a few features are less user friendly.

Cons

The support team replies quickly but their answers often do not actually solve the problem.

The best things to me about Aesthetics Pro are how simple it is and that you can use it from anywhere.

Cons

One of the main drawback is its cost. It is pricier than other EMR systems that already include integration with medical insurance companies.

Huge plus for daily jobs

Pros

Having all our daily jobs handled by a single platform which is AestheticsPro, is a huge plus for me. I also have to give a big shout-out to my support rep for all her patience and support over the past few months. I really wanted to make sure your team knows how much that's appreciated!

Cons

Since I am a new user on this account, my only observation so far is that it just requires some time to fully learn the system.

I do not have much to say when it comes to pros. As the program can be a bit glitchy sometimes and does not always load right. There are also a few small, irritating quirks that pop up now and then.

Cons

Crafting emails and text messages for clients is more challenging than it should be.

Pros

We can log in from any location because it works on all our devices such as tablets, laptops, computers and mobile phones.

Cons

The two biggest drawbacks as per me are the lack of integration with CareCredit or Square and the fact that we can only add a small number of medical records at once.

system upgrade made things so hard

Pros

It offers a great variety of consent and instruction forms and sending documents to clients before their visit is simple. Booking appointments and processing payments is also very easy.

Cons

I find it really difficult to reach a real person in customer service. The automatic system upgrade was also a major frustration because it happened without warning and most of our data did not carry over.

Pros

The help I receive is absolutely phenomenal! Every person I talk to is genuinely nice, full of useful information and always ready to go the extra mile. To be honest I cannot thank the whole team enough. As the entire crew from the top down is truly outstanding!

More functions than i expected

Pros

AestheticsPro came with more useful functions than I was expecting and our service representative was the best at brainstorming ideas and teaching us the best ways to use the system.

Cons

It itself is great. The only downside I have noticed as a fairly new user is that the user interface appears a bit old-fashioned.

Pros

It is pretty simple to operate. Though the tutorial videos are alright but we could really use some more of them.

Cons

It takes support days to schedule a call which is extremely annoying. On top of that, the tutorial videos are not thorough enough and are too vague. I mean they really need to include more information on how to handle common patient questions.

Feedback from a New Clinic

Pros

All the functions I need for my company are consolidated in one system.

Cons

The customer service was okay, but honestly, the EMR system itself was a letdown. Instead of simplifying my workflow, its limitations created more headaches, especially with managing patient records efficiently. As someone in healthcare, flexibility, customization, and efficiency are non-negotiables and this system just didn't deliver on any of those. Frustrating, to say the least.
