Pros
I like how accurate it is. Plus it allows me to send billing statements anytime during the month which feels far better than having to wait and only send them once a month.
Cons
Honestly I found it very difficult to get the hang of at first and once training wrapped up I barely get any follow-up help from the staff.

I have really enjoyed using the Allscripts platform. The platform is simple and easy to use. Even though it lacks extra features but it does what its supposed to do. Also it might feel a bit basic at times but if ease of use is what you are after, the simplicity actually becomes a plus.
Cons
Well it is hard to get in touch with support at times and the response times for service tickets can be a bit inconsistent which annoys me.

I must say it is really easy to set up schedules for different providers and the billing process is clear and uncomplicated. With multiple providers, scheduling patients in the right time slots is also quick and simple.
Cons
Sometimes when sending out billings we receive an error indicating the patients insurance has the wrong relationship to the guarantor, even though it appears correct in the chart.

I really like how easy it is to keep track of patient progress with Allscripts. Unlike other EMR companies I have used, Allscripts actually listens to our suggestions when rolling out updates. It shows they genuinely care about their customers. One feature I really like is being able to see the history of the past 5 patients to whom we have prescribed medicine. The scheduler is also simple and effective which makes things much easier.
Cons
The only issue I am facing is with the untimely updates that hinder our daily tasks. If only they could roll out updates after business hours that would be great.

Allscripts is a complete software package that handles everything for me from insurance inputs to scheduling, payments, reporting and billing all in one place.
Cons
Where do I even start... This is an expensive program that increases in price by 3 to 5% every year for each of its components. Everything comes with its own cost. Customer support is mostly handled by call centers in India which makes communication difficult. The reporting is far from ideal as it only exports as a dump file which requires you to copy and paste into something usable. The standard reports are just basic totals, pie charts or lists which is so frustrating! Software updates tend to create problems and often require IT help. Honestly, I could go on. There are plenty of other programs that offer much more at a lower price point.

We are so happy with the system. The implementation team at Allscripts helped us with the transition and we had some of the best staff from their company to train us on the product before we went live. The product is simple and easier to use which makes the workflow pretty smooth. Impressive, very nice.
Cons
We Hardly ever faced issues and it could be perhaps we are still exploring the system. Just some trouble with lag time and delayed responses but not too often to even notice. We can brush off these.
