I believe getting right information is very important and this tool is ours only resource for that. Also I believe speedier functionality would be beneficial. Moreover having details about other residents proves helpful. But I would like to mention that the search function is slow and it takes a while to master.

Caremerge is an excellent tool for senior living communities. Creating a calendar from scratch each month takes hours but with Caremerge the software will take care of it for you. Additionally the program allows you to take attendance of resident participation and generate a detailed report of their activities including percentages of the types of activities. I really like the communication and announcement feature of Caremerge which helps to connect with family. It's much easier than using emails and you can respond quickly as messages don't get lost in your email account. Even the residents can create accounts post on the community board sign up for activities and see the daily events. Overall it's a great program and we really appreciate everything that Caremerge has to offer.

Cons

The app often fails to display all the residents when staff members attempt to take attendance. Consequently while using the app staff members are required to browse through the resident list to locate the missing names and take attendance accordingly. This process involves additional effort and time compared to merely reviewing the list and verifying participation.

Caremerge is a great program for directors residents and families involved in senior living communities. Creating a calendar from scratch every month can take hours but Caremerge saves you the time and effort. Attendance records for resident participation can also be taken and reported with detailed percentages of activity types. Communication with family is made easier with announcement features that respond quickly without risking messages being buried in your email account. Residents can sign up for activities and see daily events. Overall Caremerge is a great program with many useful features.

Cons

Occasionally the app experiences difficulty in populating all the residents' names. When a staff member navigates to take attendance on the app not all residents appear in the list requiring staff to manually search for the resident's name. Hence taking the attendance is not as straightforward a process as merely glancing through the list and checking for participation.

When editing a recurring event, I encounter two unclear choices. Also the wording is confusing and sometimes specifying a day of the week results in it being filed under a different day which puzzles me.

Caremerge is an intuitive program that I find easy to use. It provides -realtime- information and updates for our older adult residents, offering simple access even for those with limited tech experience. Using Caremerge Voice makes the process even smoother, especially for residents with low vision or difficulty with devices.

We have experienced some technology hiccups with Caremerge like Voice syncing with Echo Dots. These issues are manageable. Currently, we can only play music stations or genres not specific artists, though this may be addressed in a future update.

I really like the simplicity of Caremerge, whether its for taking attendance or sending messages as an associate or for family members and caregivers.

Cons

The one area of Caremerge that I believe needs attention is the messaging section on the app. Notifications inform us that a family member has messaged us but we must know the resident they are associated with to view the message from the app. If I am unaware of the resident, I have to switch to the website view to access the message from the notification.

The softwares user friendliness for both staff and family members is what stands out to me. It keeps families engaged in their loved ones care, regardless of distance.

I have suggested some adaptations for the app that are reportedly being worked on but I'm unsure if they are still being considered or if they have been abandoned. It would be better if the app had more customization options for the calendar and PDF styler.
