I find this EHR system to be great with good potential covering most of what I need for daily charting.
Cons
Setting up this system for daily workflows lacks support. Instead they provide videos and leave you to figure it out on your own. When I sought assistance for front-end setup the representative rushed me claimed to have emailed videos and abruptly ended the call while I still had questions. This raises concerns about troubleshooting support. Overall the customer service is extremely poor practically non-existent.

This is the most cost effective option available and truly allows for growth. If you are a new practice and don't require excessive features then this is an excellent choice. More advanced functionalities come at an additional cost.
Cons
My main concern was with the online booking system. It lacked the option to customize menus or provide specific links for individual services. Instead all available services were listed alphabetically, creating confusion. To overcome this, I had to get creative with the naming of services. Additionally, there was only one integrated payment processing option, which did not meet my needs. It was particularly frustrating because the company took six months to respond to my account opening inquiry.

The greatest benefit of Charm for us was having all patient data in one easily accessible and well organized location. User friendliness played a key role in our decision to choose Charm. Implementation and setup were effortless. The system is highly customizable and their support is exceptional. It includes almost all the features we need to run our practice.

Unfortunately there is no feature available to refill orders for patients. Each time I have to create new encounters, which can be time consuming.

This is the most affordable option available and offers room for growth. Its perfect for new practices that dont require advanced features although those come at an extra cost.
Cons
My main issue lies with the online booking system. Theres no option to customize menus or provide links for specific services resulting in patients being presented with an alphabetical list of all available services. Changing the order requires creative naming. Additionally the integrated payment processing is limited to one option which was unsuitable for me especially considering the slow response time from the company taking six months to open an account.

Nothing positive compares to the negative. This program is the absolute worst.
Cons
I have to say that this is the worst EHR I have ever used. It feels clunky and wastes a significant amount of time. The drop down lists are not alphabetized making it difficult to find what I need. The ICD10 Codes database is completely unusable and a complete waste of time. The system has even lost medical records that should have been saved after an hour of work. The customer service experience is terrible. They never fix the issues despite asking customers to report them. There is no follow-up or resolution, and incorrect diagnosis codes put users at medical legal risk. Moreover, they charge for every question or record made during programming experimentation.

This EHR system is the worst Ive ever used. Its cumbersome time-wasting and lacks basic functionalities like alphabetizing drop-down lists. The database for ICD10 codes is unusable leading to frequent data loss. Customer service is abysmal they dont address issues or provide solutions and contacting them incurs additional charges. Incorrect diagnosis codes also pose legal risks. Overall its a terrible experience.

Cons
Setting up Charm was quite tricky for me. I had to go through a verification process using my credit agency report and I encountered a few glitches with the Charm software. The tech support team was very slow to respond, with about a week between emails. It took approximately a month to get everything up and running smoothly.

It seamlessly integrates with Fullscript and Wellevate. It is particularly beneficial for Naturopathic, Integrative doctors and acupuncturist style practices. The features can always be simplified if desired.

Charm can be personalized and customized. While there is a learning curve, it is worth investing time to make it your own. I can handle billing, invoicing, scheduling, website scheduling widget, charting and secure communication through the portal. The support team is continuously innovating and improving the product.
Cons
I used to love the Zoom integration when it was the only cost effective option for HIPAA compliant Zoom. However now it is no longer as cost effective and the support team can take up to a week to respond to email inquiries. On the bright side chatting with support through the website has yielded good results. Like any program with legacy code, some of the templates I've used for years can be a bit buggy. It would be great if the patient portal was mobile-friendly as it currently works best on tablets and desktops.

CharmHealth has been a fantastic discovery for our practice. The setup time was minimal and our providers quickly adapted to the software which was pleasantly surprising.
Cons
The scheduling feature of Charmis one area that I believe could use significant improvement. While it's not insurmountable compared to the rest of the product, this aspect needs updating. Setting up block time and customizing the times patients can see on the web is not easy, leaving limited options for the practice. I see this as the biggest opportunity for improvement in Charm. Additionally the product still focuses heavily on having an office which poses challenges for telehealth-focused practitioners. For example, uploading insurance cards becomes problematic when we're not in the office.

I highly value the availability of the support staff. I have used the online chat multiple times and most often my questions are answered within a few minutes. For more complex inquiries, I still receive a response within a day or two. Thank you! I also like how easy it is to update and personalize my Charm account for online scheduling and appointment types.
Cons
Writing a prescription for a compounded formula through Charm is extremely difficult especially when working with multiple compounding pharmacies. The fax or e prescribe feature's electronic signature placement creates confusion for pharmacies in determining whether it is "dispense as written" or "substitution permitted." This led to verification phone calls from pharmacies after sending prescriptions through Charm. As a result I no longer use the e prescribing feature and prefer calling in or using paper prescriptions. On a positive note, I appreciate the template customization options. It would be even better if there was a feature to "publish" the treatment plan before signing the full chart as sometimes telemedicine patients require information quickly. Additionally, I wish the sections for typing chart notes provided more vertical space. Currently, I can only see about 10 lines of text, and expanding the vertical space would be helpful. Perhaps condensing the patient info at the top of the chart to the left side could allow for this expansion.

This raises concerns about troubleshooting support. Overall the customer service is extremely poor practically non-existent.

My main concern was with the online booking system. It lacked the option to customize menus or provide specific links for individual services. Instead all available services were listed alphabetically, creating confusion. To overcome this, I had to get creative with the naming of services. Additionally, there was only one integrated payment processing option, which did not meet my needs. It was particularly frustrating because the company took six months to respond to my account opening inquiry.

I have to say that this is the worst EHR I have ever used. It feels clunky and wastes a significant amount of time. The drop down lists are not alphabetized making it difficult to find what I need. The ICD10 Codes database is completely unusable and a complete waste of time. The system has even lost medical records that should have been saved after an hour of work. The customer service experience is terrible. They never fix the issues despite asking customers to report them. There is no follow-up or resolution, and incorrect diagnosis codes put users at medical legal risk. Moreover, they charge for every question or record made during programming experimentation.

I can handle billing, invoicing, scheduling, website scheduling widget, charting and secure communication through the portal. The support team is continuously innovating and improving the product.

I used to love the Zoom integration when it was the only cost effective option for HIPAA compliant Zoom. However now it is no longer as cost effective and the support team can take up to a week to respond to email inquiries. On the bright side chatting with support through the website has yielded good results. Like any program with legacy code, some of the templates I've used for years can be a bit buggy. It would be great if the patient portal was mobile-friendly as it currently works best on tablets and desktops.

Cons
The scheduling feature of Charmis one area that I believe could use significant improvement. While it's not insurmountable compared to the rest of the product, this aspect needs updating. Setting up block time and customizing the times patients can see on the web is not easy, leaving limited options for the practice. I see this as the biggest opportunity for improvement in Charm. Additionally the product still focuses heavily on having an office which poses challenges for telehealth-focused practitioners. For example, uploading insurance cards becomes problematic when we're not in the office.

I highly value the availability of the support staff. I have used the online chat multiple times and most often my questions are answered within a few minutes. For more complex inquiries, I still receive a response within a day or two. Thank you! I also like how easy it is to update and personalize my Charm account for online scheduling and appointment types.
Cons
Writing a prescription for a compounded formula through Charm is extremely difficult especially when working with multiple compounding pharmacies. The fax or e prescribe feature's electronic signature placement creates confusion for pharmacies in determining whether it is "dispense as written" or "substitution permitted." This led to verification phone calls from pharmacies after sending prescriptions through Charm. As a result I no longer use the e prescribing feature and prefer calling in or using paper prescriptions. On a positive note, I appreciate the template customization options. It would be even better if there was a feature to "publish" the treatment plan before signing the full chart as sometimes telemedicine patients require information quickly. Additionally, I wish the sections for typing chart notes provided more vertical space. Currently, I can only see about 10 lines of text, and expanding the vertical space would be helpful. Perhaps condensing the patient info at the top of the chart to the left side could allow for this expansion.
