“1990s style is not ChARMing at all
Pros
It seems to encompass all the necessary features.
Cons
The system comprises four horizontally arranged panes unfortunately non-resizable. Messages appear in the right-most pane which on tablets or phones is condensed showing only a few characters per line. This week customers faced issues reading messages due to website bugs. ChARMs responsiveness to customers is lacking bug reports must be forwarded by authorized contacts to get them fixed. Furthermore the system doesnt permit providers to adjust message limits a crucial feature especially during Covid lockdowns. There are superior solutions available.

Pros
Training new employees is a breeze with its simplicity. It efficiently manages scheduling notes insurance and payments. Plus getting analytics out of the software is a nice bonus.
Cons
Applying payments to multiple invoices at once is slower compared to the automatic and efficient process of applying payments to one invoice at a time.

“An EHR system that will grow with you practice
Pros
Charm EHR caters well to integrative/functional medical doctors like myself. The shared forms and questionnaire templates from other practitioners are helpful. The softwares ease of use especially the inventory functionality is commendable. The pricing scheme is suitable for new offices and the add-on features are beneficial as the practice grows. The support desk is also responsive and helpful.
Cons
I wish patients could fill out questionnaires during their office visit without logging into their accounts. Many patients struggle to remember their passwords without their computers. Its unrealistic to expect all patients to complete their questionnaires before arriving at the office.

Pros
Transitioning from paper charts to Charm was nerve-wracking but the excellent customer support made it worthwhile. While Im still exploring its full functionality what Im using meets my needs well. With the ongoing support Im confident my practice will become even more efficient.
Cons
I cant offer any critique of Charm yet as I havent fully explored its capabilities. Getting started feels a bit overwhelming but the Charm support team has been helpful in guiding me through it.

“Great for small cash practices, not so great for busier practices
Pros
This software provides everything a small company needs. Its great to view a patients financials and prior appointments directly within the chart. Scheduling is efficient and patients can easily book appointments from our website.
Cons
Charting can be cumbersome and our main concern is the insufficient billing functionality. Youre required to use their billing system and billers to reap any benefits.

I love the ability to customize all my notes and templates. Going paperless and having real-time electronic paperwork and signatures for clients is fantastic.
Cons

Pros
Switching to CharmHealth was a great decision for our practice. Its customization options and vast library of templates make it easy to use. The user-friendly calendar integrates seamlessly with the EHR and printing hard copies especially immunization records is straightforward.
Cons
Although cost hasnt been an issue for our relatively small practice it could become significant for larger practices compared to other EHR platforms. Weve encountered problems with sending e-prescriptions locating specific medications and entering patient email addresses. Despite these minor issues customer support has been helpful in resolving them.

This EHR is remarkably intuitive making tasks like charting and billing a breeze. Its patient engagement features including the Patient Portal and mobile apps enhance communication with patients.
Cons
The only limitation Ive observed relates to case management and the ability to link multiple encounters/visits and related documentation under one case. I believe this is an area slated for improvement. Getting technical support on the phone can be challenging.

Pros
Customer service is responsive and helpful consistently improving the product.
Cons
I need a more efficient way to learn the system on the go. I dont have time for webinars and struggle to find an index or manual search feature. Additionally the Zoom telemedicine feature often experiences freezing despite using ethernet.
