“Easily customizable software, great for my micro-practice

Pros

Writing templates is straightforward and there are plenty of tutorials available for learning the software.

Cons

It takes time to organize everything in the settings for our specific type of practice. Having predefined bundles for different specialties would be helpful. Encouraging patients to populate their charts ahead of time is also challenging. I often have to manually input questionnaire results filled out by patients before their visits.

Having everything in one place from office notes to billing has greatly improved my organization. Transitioning from a paper-based practice to Charm was made possible by its reasonable cost.

Cons

Creating custom templates is time-consuming although I appreciate being able to use templates from other practices. Having a virtual assistant feature would be beneficial.

Ive been using this product since 2013 and am impressed by its advanced features and responsiveness to customer feedback.

Its disappointing that we cant customize the software with our logo colors.

Integrations like Fullscripts and telemedicine are valuable additions.

Theres a lack of an orders tab and diagnostic testing tab. While tasks can be completed theres no option to defer or delete them if not performed. Additionally theres no integration with software for diagnostic testing. Customization isnt straightforward and there are billing and lab order modification issues. Addressing these major concerns could attract more providers to the system.

ChARM is robust professional and grows alongside my practice. While transitioning from paper charting was initially challenging Im increasingly satisfied with its value.

Cons

I appreciate being able to chat online for real-time help. While I can message them on Facebook receiving a faster reply than an hour or two would be ideal.

ChARM is a comprehensive practice management platform. Initially I didnt integrate the available ChARM resources into our teams workflow effectively as the implementation lead.

As for me the program is flexible and compliant with HIPAA & HITECH. Ive had superb support from the staff!

What I adore is that everything from records to scheduling communication within the office and with patients billing and supplement inventory is all encompassed within Charm.

Cons

Inactive patients should be treated differently. They shouldnt generate invoices or encounters once inactivated. Additionally relabeling or changing dates is challenging. A comprehensive search bar that covers the entire patient chart would be extremely helpful.

The development team is responsive and almost all our functions are available on one platform. Onboarding and training are straightforward because of its intuitive nature making it easy to determine outstanding tasks.

Occasionally new feature rollouts cause issues but the team is responsive when this happens.

Its low cost allows pre-purchase software viewing has responsive customer service is easy to use and train and offers customization options.

Charm isnt quite enterprise-level yet lacking some basic features found in other EHRs but its catching up.

Theres a lot we love about this software the beautiful calendar and thoughtful features have optimized our business.

We wish we could add resources to the provider calendar and book rooms more efficiently. The kiosk feature for patient check-ins isnt as effective as wed hoped and the insurance aspect isnt very user-friendly for patients.

Pros

Regarding cost its free until a certain number of charts but still offers high functionality. Premium monthly options include internal medical records fax among other features. The new OS is relatively slick allowing patients to link accounts between clinics for streamlined access.

Cons

Charms ability to create billing statements and comprehensive receipts is limited. Customer service is nearly non-existent with email being the primary means of communication and slow response times.
