Pros
One feature that really helps is the care plan tracker in ChiroHD since it gives a clear view of where patients are in their care and when they're due for a re-exam. The built-in two-way texting inside the EHR is also something we've appreciated.
Cons
Customer support has been some of the worst we've dealt with. The setup process was a really bad experience and whenever we've needed help after that, it has taken days to get a response by email. There's also no option to call and speak with anyone directly.

After using a lot of other platforms like ChiroTouch, Platinum, Jane and more, this has been the one we've loved the most. Nothing else really compares. It's very simple to use, scheduling is simple and having texting built right into the software is something we really appreciate.
Cons
The one area that still needs improvement is the email integrations. I'd like to see those become more advanced and I'm also really looking forward to the GHL integration being released soon.

The texting feature is probably my favorite part and the platform overall feels very user-friendly. It's a smart system with a lot of helpful tools built in which makes it comfortable to work in day to day. Most of the reports we're able to generate are very useful and bring real value to our practice.
Cons
The part I'm least happy with is the frequent updates. While I understand updates are necessary, they sometimes seem to create new issues or slow other parts of the system down. Another downside is that there's no direct billing option within the platform. It's also frustrating that some specific reports still can't be pulled when needed.

Everything feels very user friendly and whenever something comes up, it's quick to get in touch with their team. They take the time to walk you through any issue you bring to them which has been really helpful.
Cons
A limitation is with family access since there isn't a way for multiple family members to share one app to schedule and cancel all appointments. Bulk scheduling also needs improvement because if a time or day changes, there's no option to reschedule all appointments at once. Instead, you have to delete everything or go in day by day to cancel and update appointments. I'd also like to see better integration with Go High Level so all actions can work together.

Being cloud-based is a big plus and the layout is fairly simple overall. Most of what I need is accessible from the same screen so I usually don't have to keep opening extra windows or separate programs. The integration with my x-ray software is also something I really appreciate.
Cons
Getting tasks done can take quite a few clicks. The SOAP macros feel pretty limiting in terms of what you can add or edit.. you can't use formatting like bold or underline, it won't automatically capitalize a macro word when it starts a sentence, spacing can get a little messy when building custom macros and using macros to add diagnosis codes is frustrating. I've also noticed that imported x-ray images seem to come in a bit darker from my x-ray software.

One thing I really enjoy is how often it keeps getting better. Every few months, it seems like there's a major update that genuinely changes the workflow and makes running the practice much easier.
Cons
At this point my only real issue with ChiroHD is that the patient app still doesn't support family scheduling. I've heard their engineers are already working on it though so I'm hoping that feature is added soon because I'd start using it for my patients almost right away.

Scheduling patients is really simple in all kinds of situations. Whether it's new patients booking through the website or setting up appointments in bulk for families, the system feels simple and user-friendly. In our family practice, staying on top of care plans and recommendations is essential and ChiroHD makes that much more manageable. The care plan templates help streamline everything while actively tracking whether patients are staying on schedule and alerting us when they are not.
Cons
The downside is that the system doesn't notify you when someone schedules an appointment or creates a new lead. It's not a major problem if you're already in the EHR throughout the day and checking regularly but it's definitely an area that could be better. Email alerts or pop-up notifications would make lead follow-up much faster especially after normal office hours.

Switching was honestly a breath of fresh air. We've never changed software before without a lot of frustration but this time it felt like pure joy. The system is very user friendly, highly customizable and it's obvious a lot of thought went into designing it around how a real chiropractic office actually operates.
Cons
One thing that's missing is the ability to bulk reschedule appointments. Right now, they all have to be deleted and then scheduled again one by one. It would also help if you could view a patient's future visits, click on one of those appointments and be taken straight to that date on the calendar.

It comes with a wide range of built-in features that are already set up, with most of them being customizable. That has been incredibly useful when building out the EHR and even afterward. It's simple to learn, simple to train staff on and it helps keep the practice organized by putting everything in one place. The ability to integrate with other helpful platforms is also a major advantage.
Cons
The biggest and honestly maybe the only, downside for us is that the patient paperwork can't really be edited. The prebuilt form doesn't match the way our practice operates so we ended up having to use IntakeQ for paperwork instead. That adds another expense on top of an EHR system that is already on the pricier side.

Very few companies make me want to leave a review and when they do, it usually comes down to customer service. A product can be hit or miss but support is what really makes the difference. ChiroHD has, by far some of the best customer support I've ever had with any software. They respond quickly, they actually listen and they genuinely try to make using the platform a positive experience. Writing notes in ChiroHD is simple, appointments are fairly organized and most of our patients really appreciate the text messaging feature. I also love that so much is handled directly inside the system so we don't have to rely on outside services for things like that. On top of that, they're always making updates and adding new improvements to make the software more user-friendly. It really feels like they care about their users and take a lot of pride in both the product and the work behind it.
Cons
There are just a couple of things I'd still like to see improved especially the appointment scheduling process which could be made a bit easier. It would also be helpful to have more text templates available for the office to use for different situations.

One thing that worked well was being able to separate cases by provider or service which made things easier to manage. The appointment tracking was useful too and the alerts were a nice touch. I also appreciated the pre-billing scrub issue alerts because they helped catch problems ahead of time.
Cons
The schedule layout was hard to work with especially since our chiropractor can see up to 10 patients in a single time slot so the calendar became crowded and difficult to read. It also did not make scheduling PT patients between providers very practical. Billing took too many clicks and I kept having to double-check the case, provider and date because those fields would sometimes change on their own. On top of that, the physical therapy note templates were very poor.. not legally defensible and extremely time-consuming to complete.

Cons
One thing I'd really like to see improved is how doctors can manage room flow. It would help a lot if more than one computer could control the flow and unlock rooms because there are times when rooms don't open properly and the room order gets thrown off afterward. Custom macros have been a huge win for our providers. They can organize them around their own styles and techniques for SOAP notes which has made documentation much more manageable on the provider side. As a team, we really love working with them because everyone is so friendly and genuinely willing to put in the effort to help us get everything where it needs to be so the clinic can run at its best.
Cons
We're still learning new things as we go which I wouldn't really call a downside. If anything, discovering more ways to clean up our setup and make the system easier for staff to use has been a plus. The one area we do run into trouble with is payment processing when it's split between providers. We've been trying to make sure the correct doctor is charged for the correct patient but sometimes the payment will automatically switch from one provider's patient to another and back again. That's the part I'd want more help with because having that be more manageable on our end would make a big difference.
