Modern patient communication

Pros

ChiroHD has been very user-friendly. Patient communication works really well, the SOAP notes are solid and the whole platform feels modern.

Cons

Smooooth integrations

Pros

The clean and simple look made it pleasant to use. The application runs very smoothly and it connects with everything I need it to integrate with.

Cons

There really isn't much to complain about. If I had to point out anything, I'd say customizable intake forms, a mobile admin app and automatic payment posting through the integrated billing processor would make it even better.

Patients love it

Pros

Fast support

Pros

Customer support has been outstanding and incredibly quick to respond. They also offer a large library of videos that walk you through nearly everything and our office watched them before moving over so we could understand the system better ahead of the switch.

Cons

We did run into some trouble getting CashPractic to sync over although I'm not completely sure whether that was on their end.

Very convenient to use

all-in-one access anywhere

Pros

Having everything in one system has been a huge plus. I can handle scheduling, payments, texting and even review X-rays all from the same place. It's also really convenient that I can log in from any device whenever I need to.

Cons

The texting feature works well but it would be a lot more convenient if I could also make calls from that same number instead of dealing with multiple numbers. That said I do understand why that isn't possible.

organized records and reporting

Pros

One of the biggest advantages is how much time it saves while keeping everything organized and easy to access. Having patient records, treatment plans and progress notes all in one place is incredibly convenient. The reporting tools and billing tracking have also been a huge help for our practice. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend ChiroHD to any chiropractic office.

Cons

At times, the system does seem a little slow but that's usually tied to our internet connection rather than the software itself. It's more of an occasional inconvenience than a real issue with ChiroHD. In the end, the benefits far outweigh these minor delays.

Custom macros and caring support

Pros

Custom macros have been a huge win for our providers. They can organize them around their own styles and techniques for SOAP notes which has made documentation much more manageable on the provider side. As a team, we really love working with them because everyone is so friendly and genuinely willing to put in the effort to help us get everything where it needs to be so the clinic can run at its best.

Cons

We're still learning new things as we go which I wouldn't really call a downside. If anything, discovering more ways to clean up our setup and make the system easier for staff to use has been a plus. The one area we do run into trouble with is payment processing when it's split between providers. We've been trying to make sure the correct doctor is charged for the correct patient but sometimes the payment will automatically switch from one provider's patient to another and back again. That's the part I'd want more help with because having that be more manageable on our end would make a big difference.

Pros

The system is really user friendly. Anytime a question comes up or we're unsure how to do something in the program, their chat team responds quickly and helps resolve it right away.

Cons

all-in-one patient portal

Pros

Having everything for each patient in one portal has been really convenient. We can view x-rays, upload documents, collect payments and handle pretty much everything we need in one place.

Cons

The only downside is that patients with kids can't view their information as well in the app. It also tracks massages but not stretches which can be confusing when patients ask how much body work they've used.

Helpful alerts and clean layout

Pros

Scheduling patients is simple and putting together patient profiles with care plans, alerts and other details works really well. The alerts feature has been a game changer for us. The layout is clean and simple and the information is organized in a way that makes everything easy to understand.

Cons

One thing that can be confusing is telling the difference between what applies to all offices and what only belongs to your specific office. Since we only have one office, it would be better if that were combined into a single view.

fantastic cloud-based functionality

Pros

The functionality in this system has been excellent. Customer service responds quickly and does a really good job troubleshooting when issues come up. I also love that it's cloud-based, includes automated texting and gives patients the ability to self-schedule through the app. The integration with Fortis is another big plus.

Cons

It does cost a bit more than some other EHR systems but the value you get makes it worth it.

Customizable cloud workflow

Pros

Running a multi-doctor practice has been a really positive experience. Being cloud-based makes it convenient to access and the system is very user-friendly. It's also highly customizable which helps it fit the way our office works. The online paperwork automatically fills in patient demographics which saves time and cuts down on manual entry. It also connects well with third-party companies, includes two-way texting and the drag-and-drop tools make rescheduling appointments and attaching documents much simpler. On top of that, it's priced lower than a lot of other EHR systems.

Cons

One limitation is that we can't print monthly statements in bulk. Also some of the data we track for statistics isn't very easy to pull up.

Appealing design and comfort

Pros

Well the interface is simple to use and very gentle on the eyes plus the overall look and feel is really appealing.

proactive support

Pros

Getting started is pretty simple especially if you take the time to watch the Training Academy videos during setup. The help desk is very accessible and replies fast and during office hours the live chat support is especially useful because you can get help in real time. As far as I know, those chat conversations are saved which makes it convenient to go back and review past answers if the same questions come up later. Another big plus is how much you can customize across most parts of the system.

Cons

I'd really like added the option to send text alerts to the doctor whenever a new patient schedules online. It would also be very helpful to have the ability to print a narrative report.

Powerful software with solid training

Pros

After training on other software options, it ended up being the simplest to use and the most effective for us. The academy also makes the training process very simple.

Cons

I'd like to see is a notification whenever a lead replies to a text.

neat setup with useful chat

Pros

Everything feels neat and fully sufficient for what I need and I really love the chat feature.

Cons

The ability to drag a patient to another doctor instead of the system marking it as a reschedule could be better.
