“user-friendly and reliable support”
Pros
ChiroTouch has taken the stress out of both the front office and back office sides of our practice. My husband and I have just reached our first year in practice and having efficient software like CT made that transition far easier than we ever expected. We are definitely not the most tech-savvy people so we really like how user-friendly the system is. We use it across 3 computers and 5 iPads throughout the office and have had absolutely no problems. Anytime we were unsure about adjusting settings or handling updates, customer service was available and always friendly, patient and helpful. We honestly would never switch software because it is always just an email or phone call away. Our patient files stay extremely organized because we take advantage of every part of the program. Since multiple people use CT in our office, including 2 to 3 DCs and 1 receptionist, having the ability to stay organized, add notes about billing dates, insurance details and visit information has kept our office systems clean and efficient. As we go through the process of buying the practice, the original owners were able to teach us the software within just a few weeks and by the second month we felt confident using all of its features. We are truly so happy to have this software as part of our practice.
Cons
At this point we really have not run into any issues with it. If anything for such a large company we have been especially impressed with their customer service and how quickly they respond whenever we need help.

“clean touchscreen, modern feel”
Pros
The color layout and touchscreen setup were really nice and those are definitely features I like even though plenty of other systems offer the same kind of things I enjoy.
Cons
The ongoing fees and restrictive policies were frustrating especially being required to keep a $2,000-per-year service contract just to pay another $50 a month for sending reminders. It felt like there were too many hidden charges and the whole approach came across as unreasonable and lacking ethics.

“helpful tools, costly add-ons”
Pros
Text reminders have been a big help and the billing features work really well. I also appreciate being able to create notes and internal reminders and the color-coded scheduler makes everything much easier to track and organize.
Cons
There are still a lot of things I wish the system could handle directly from the scheduler, like creating new patient files, switching a provider or adding a note. Not being able to do those tasks there slows our staff down a lot. On top of that doctors using iPads still do not have access to all of the desktop features especially DX posting while working in a note. Printing statements and superbills for individual doctors is also more complex than it should be because of the extra setting changes required. Another big frustration is having to pay extra for every new feature that gets released. After already spending so much on the software and paying multiple yearly maintenance fees, those improvements really should be included instead of treated as add-ons. I also strongly preferred the yearly fee over the monthly one since the monthly charge has just created more work without adding any real value. One positive note is that the help desk does seem to be improving compared with last year which was honestly very rough so I hope that hiring trend continues.

“useful features, but forms lag”
Pros
The system is fairly easy to use and it comes with a lot of extra features. One thing I especially appreciate is how quickly I can complete a case note.
Cons
For me the FOA forms are still a challenge. I'd like patients to be able to complete them online before their first visit so we can cut down on paper and make tracking and updates much easier.

“reliable macros for daily charting”
Pros
After the macros are configured using the EHR becomes pretty easy. Support is also decent overall although you usually have to call, leave a message and wait for someone to return the call.
Cons
Although the software includes several modules, they don't connect together in a proper way. It also seems like the system was originally designed for low-resolution screens and never really updated for today's higher-resolution monitors. A lot of the boxes are too small to display important details properly. For example ICD-10 diagnosis descriptions can be very long but the diagnosis field doesn't let you view the full text. That makes the program frustrating and confusing to work in. I have been using it for nearly 10 years and visually it still looks unchanged. There are probably newer and more modern options available now.

“flexible and user-friendly”
Pros
Using it day to day is very easy and I really like that it works well alongside other products.

“reliable platform with strong tools”
Pros
It's been a consistent platform and having the same system in place for more than two years has been a real plus.
Cons
At the same time it is outdated. A server-based setup is becoming less practical, while the cloud-based doctor and SOAP tools are really good. The scheduling features work very well and the online review system is also a strong point. The downside is the cost per service which is noticeably higher than other options that offer similar or even more, features.

“inclusive platform with weak reporting”
Pros
It's a pretty all in one system overall. The integration with our X-ray software and payment processing is a big plus and it gives us the ability to manage nearly every area of the practice from one program.
Cons
Reporting isn't nearly as useful as it was in Autumn8. The text reminders and bulk messages can be unreliable, the interface feels very basic and recovery takes far too long when the server goes down, even with several backups in place, including a local one.

“powerful customization and support”
Pros
After working with ChiroTouch what stands out is how well the whole system connects. Different areas of the software communicate with each other which cuts out the need for duplicate or repeated data entry. It's very user-friendly and the level of customization is impressive for both individual providers and group practices. With 30 years of office management experience, I can honestly say it includes many of the features I would have built into a system myself. The support team is also outstanding. If someone doesn't pick up within about 10 minutes, I usually get a callback within the hour. They're knowledgeable, patient and very understanding especially when I tinker with settings myself and accidentally create problems. I would absolutely recommend it to other chiropractic offices.
Cons
Two areas could definitely be better. One is the ability to customize forms such as exams, letters and reports. The other is having more flexibility when it comes to customized financial reporting. As someone who handles administration, ownership responsibilities and office management, I really want stronger control over exactly which reports I can generate and review.

“customizable workflow and handy tools”
Pros
Having everything available on one screen instead of pulling paper files is a huge plus. Copying notes and SALT notes saves a lot of time and the ability to customize macros is really helpful. The patient texting feature through In Touch is also a nice addition and I appreciate that it works with iPad as well. Overall, it runs well and I am happy to have it in my office.
Cons
The frustrating part is that so many useful features are treated as add-ons. Insurance verification costs extra every month, text reminders cost extra too and those are the kinds of tools that really feel essential. It ends up feeling like you pay a lot for the software upfront and then keep getting charged monthly for things that should already be included. Another thing I really dislike is the check-in process using red and green buttons for the question about whether the doctor should know about any other symptoms. Patients see those colors, assume green is the right choice and click it without really understanding the question which can create confusion and add symptoms by mistake. I'd also really like more customization in the provider all-in-one layout. Instead of only having built-in options like tomorrow, end of week or next week, it would be much better if we could create our own clickable choices.

“user-friendly and packed with features”
Pros
It's been very user-friendly for both me and my staff. It also offers a wide range of functionality which has been really helpful, although I'd still love to see something like bulk text messaging added.
Cons
Not having a text messaging feature has pushed me to look elsewhere for that capability and that's ended up costing me extra money.

“better than paper overall”
Pros
Since it was already set up we were able to keep using it without a big transition. It gets the job done and, at the end of the day, it's still better than handling everything on paper.
Cons
One frustrating part is how little it seems to have improved over the years. The iPad module runs slowly and still makes you manually scroll to move through checked-in patients when it really should stay tied to the current time. Updating or changing macros and quick buttons is also very difficult and overly complicated. It would make a lot more sense if team members could complete most of the notes and then have the doctor review them but that's almost impossible to do.

“efficient office workflow”
Pros
ChiroTouch gives our office a simple and efficient way to handle daily procedures. My CAs, insurance staff and doctors can all see patients more efficiently because the system is easy to use.
Cons
There really isn't much to complain about. The initial setup can take some getting used to but after that it's generally simple to work with.

“time-saving digital notes”
Pros
At least it beats dealing with handwritten notes. It saves paper, cuts down on time and that's really the biggest benefit.
Cons
Putting together a simple note takes far too many steps. Some of the preset note statements have poor grammar or repeat the same information twice which makes the documentation feel sloppy. I have worked with other practice management systems before while practicing as an associate and this one feels more complicated than necessary without offering any real advantage over simpler platforms. Getting a support representative on the phone is also incredibly difficult. Whenever we call, we end up on hold for more than 30 minutes, no matter what time of day it is. Even the chat feature usually involves waiting over 10 minutes most of the time and then the first thing they want to do is log into the system. Once they do, the computer is basically unusable for 15 to 30 minutes because nothing else can be done while they're connected. The most frustrating part is that they don't seem to be actively working the whole time. They often pause for several minutes, likely because they're assisting other customers, then come back briefly to make a small change before disappearing again. It turns getting even basic help into a very long and frustrating process.

“reports access and mobile freedom”
Pros
Using the server-based version has worked well for me especially when I need to pull up reports quickly and without hassle. The CT Cloud mobile access is also a big plus and makes it much more convenient to stay connected when I am away from my desk.
Cons
The server-based setup is pretty confusing whenever I have to use it offsite. Moving from the server-based version to CT Cloud has also been very complex and the integrated credit card processing company charges way too much.

“all-in-one workflow i can count on”
Pros
Having everything in one system has been a huge plus for our whole team with CT Probill and our sales rep has been wonderful as well. It's reassuring to know information is saved reliably and we don't have to worry about things getting lost. For the most part, the platform is also user-friendly. Also a big shoutout to the enrollment team member who helped us!

“flexible reminders for clinics”
Pros
ChiroTouch worked well for our chiropractic clinic especially when it came to setting up multiple providers without much hassle. The reminder system was one of the strongest parts because it offered both email and text options, plus the ability to choose exactly when reminders were sent. That made it possible to match each patient's preferred communication style and timing.
Cons
The web based access felt pretty limited. I was able to check my schedule and book appointments from home but charting and notes could only be done onsite. Because of that, I often had to stay late or use part of my lunch break just to finish documentation. Installing the software on my Mac laptop also seemed far more complicated than it should have been. On top of that reminders did not always go out reliably and we usually only realized there was a problem when patients mentioned they never received one or when no-shows started piling up.
