“high cost, steep learning curve”
Pros
Getting notes done is fairly fast once you're in the workflow and there are plenty of ways to add or upload information into them. Whenever the system has gone down, my data has always been intact so it does a really good job preventing data loss. The macros can also be adjusted and refined to fit your needs.
Cons
The biggest downside is the price and support costs even more which makes it hard to justify. It does offer a lot of customization but that comes with a very steep learning curve. Initial visit notes also take far too long to complete for software that's supposed to make the process more convenient.

“chiropractic friendly tool”
Pros
Built with chiropractic practices in mind, it's easy to use and brings a lot of functionality together in one system.
Cons
It can be pretty slow at times. Reaching customer support is frustrating and setting up macros or customizing them the way you want is not easy.

“reports never match”
Pros
Having billing, scheduling and notes all built into one system is useful and convenient.
Cons
To me the biggest problem is that two reports that should show the same numbers still come out differently which makes the reporting unreliable.

“all-in-one workflow with iPad”
Pros
What worked really well was having notes, billing and scheduling all in one system. The iPad compatibility was a big plus since I could complete notes in the room without needing to set up another computer.
Cons
The startup cost was around $14,000 and the annual maintenance and upgrade fee has nearly doubled to about $1,200 a year which felt like a bait and switch. On top of that the software is extremely tedious when it comes to entering a patient, checking them in, posting codes and recording payments as it takes around 30 clicks per patient even when I am entering the same charges as the previous visit.

“constant crashes and outdated design”
Pros
Macros are a real plus and cut down note writing much more than systems that don't have that option. It also produces very polished-looking notes and invoices which is something not every program gets right so the documents you send out look excellent.
Cons
Nonstop crashing was the biggest problem. I raised concerns for months and dealt with support that came across as rude, unhelpful and painfully slow sometimes taking days to reply. The interface feels like something from an old Nintendo era, with nothing about it that seems modern or efficient. I really wanted this software to work and stuck with it for 14 months but eventually I gave up. When I tried to leave, they were suddenly quick to call back only to tell me I was still locked into the contract, even though the product wasn't working properly. It may have been a strong program at one time but it doesn't feel like a leading option anymore and there are better products available now.

“reliable scheduling and notes”
Pros
Running a single-provider office with ChiroTouch, the scheduling and notes features do the job really well. Open Edge for payments is also simple to use and fits nicely into our workflow.
Cons
Every now and then, a few glitches pop up and slow things down a bit.

“cloud rollout was a disaster”
Pros
Classic CT has worked really well for the last 10 years I have used it. It is easy to navigate, new staff tend to pick it up quickly, communication between team members is simple to document and billing is handled efficiently.
Cons
Switching over to the cloud version has been a disaster for my business. There was barely any real guidance and I was mostly told to watch videos that weren't detailed enough to help me properly train my staff. On top of that the documents feel disorganized and the ledger is difficult to review.

“limited setup flexibility”
Pros
It's helpful to log in through the cloud and it's nice that patients can book their own appointments online. Navigating the new software also seems easier.
Cons
A big frustration was realizing that once certain things are set up, they can't be changed or removed. It would have helped a lot to receive clear guidance on what should not be configured before getting the test site, along with what should be avoided before migration.

“handy remote access features”
Pros
Being able to log in outside the office is really useful especially when I need to finish charting or enter charges after I have already left for the day. The software is user-friendly overall and comes with a lot of helpful features.
Cons
The training felt pretty limited and most of the guidance just directed me to help videos that weren't very useful. It can also be frustrating trying to reach a real person for support, although once I do get through, the response is usually fairly quick.

“fantastic cloud access and workflow”
Pros
This software is user friendly and quick to use. I can pull up my schedule, patient records and other data from anywhere which has been a huge plus. Since it isn't an app, the experience stays consistent across my laptop, phone and tablet so everything looks and works the same no matter what device I am using. That consistency really makes a difference. Our front desk team also loves the patient check-in and check-out features. Being able to collect payment upfront and use the online payments platform has saved us a lot of time. We've used two other so-called cloud EHRs before and honestly they were terrible. ChiroTouch's development team really got this one right.
Cons
There's honestly nothing major to point out as a downside. That may sound unusual but for our practice, it has everything we need.

“slow and constantly logs out”
Pros
One thing I like about this software is that it's fairly simple to navigate. When something comes up, there's usually a way to look it up and figure it out or I can call support and get help.
Cons
The biggest frustration for me is that it can be really slow at times. I also don't like how often it kicks me out of the system.

“AMAZING customer support”
Pros
I have the utmost admiration for the customer support staff at CT. Elienai C. is an operator there who helped me through a very difficult insurance billing and accounting problem today and I am so grateful for her patience because there is no way I could have figured that out on my own. ChiroTouch is an amazing software that makes chiropractic practice far easier for us. Online forms for new patients and online schedules for providers to access at any time and place are a huge help. OpenEdge, for an integrated credit card system, makes billing very simple. There are options for care packages for service.
Cons
The setup still shows a few glitches every now and then but that can be overlooked, and the online scheduling isn’t always the smoothest process. The Verify option does not work for all insurances. We currently have a request-based system in which patients send requests for appointments where they could see the schedule including the free and taken slots. This resulted in negative feedback from them so we had to take that whole service down.

“terrible support and wasted time”
Pros
Since so many chiropractors rely on this software, I assumed it would be a good choice. That turned out not to be true and after a year I ended up moving away from it.
Cons
Well the customer service was the worst I have ever dealt with. I usually do not leave reviews and I was not planning to here either but after spending months being misled and having my time wasted, I feel like my colleagues need to know the risk of using a company that seems far more focused on making money than actually helping its clients.

“support delays and constant fees”
Pros
There really isn't anything positive I can say. They nickel-and-dime you constantly and if your system goes down, good luck getting anyone to respond within a reasonable time.
Cons
Pretty much everything that could go wrong with this software does. It's not user-friendly, they charge extra for every little thing and their technical support is a complete joke.

“helpful onboarding and great support”
Pros
Getting started with the product has been pretty simple and the support team has been very helpful throughout. Darrius Myrick has been especially good to work with during the onboarding process for CT Billing.
Cons
I do wish there were more support technicians available by phone. Direct Connect usually takes about two weeks before an appointment is available.
