“office workflow feels connected”
Pros
There are some really cool features and the platform brings a stress free feel to the entire office workflow.
Cons
Ever since an update, I have been dealing with a touchscreen glitch and support has been incredibly frustrating. It feels like they don't care enough to put in the time to fix it. Now I can't run my office the way I want to or even the way the system originally worked. I have called over and over and they just keep stringing me along. At this point, I am leaving a bad review hoping it finally gets their attention.

“custom notes, pricey support delays”
Pros
The interface looks modern and there's a lot of flexibility to customize it to fit the way you work. After getting through the training, navigating the system becomes fairly easy too. Note taking is especially convenient once you understand the macros or set up your own personalized ones.
Cons
Well the support team is always very helpful when you finally connect with them but reaching someone can take quite a while. The same issue comes up with the online help option, where wait times can also be long. It would also be better if the software were a bit more affordable.

“helpful cloud access”
Pros
Being cloud-based is a real plus because I can log in from my Mac and access it from pretty much anywhere.
Cons
There are still way too many areas where I have been told they're working on it or that the feature just isn't available yet. If you're expecting something like Classic which I used for more than 10 years but in a cloud-based version, this really isn't it.

“connected notes, scheduling, and billing”
Pros
Having the doctors notes, scheduling and billing all connected in one system was really helpful.
Cons
The text reminder feature depends on entering the patient's carrier correctly and if that information is wrong, the reminder text doesn't always go through.

One issue that comes up occasionally is with appointment management not sending text or email reminders to patients.

“helpful appointment tracking”
Pros
Keeping up with appointments is pretty easy and the system does a really good job of maintaining records. Plus it give you a great history to look back on so you can track patients, see why they've missed appointments and monitor how often it happens.
Cons
Finding the right reports can be frustrating because they're not organized in a proper way. A lot of the report titles also don't clearly match the information you're trying to locate which makes the search more confusing than it should be.

“custom notes and efficient workflows”
Pros
Getting our team up to speed with ChiroTouch happened pretty quickly. Within a few weeks, both the doctors and staff were comfortable moving through the full system. One feature that has really been worth it is the ability to customize the SOAP note format. It took some time to set up at first but it has absolutely paid off. Doing SOAP notes now is simple and it is a huge relief to finish the day with all of my notes already done. The built-in tools are also very useful especially Messaging which has made communication at the front desk much faster and more efficient. The Alerts section has been another standout feature because it helps flag key details I want visible at each patient visit, like radiology findings, contraindications and specific spinal techniques. It has also done a good job keeping ahead of industry changes such as EHR implementation and ICD-10. Both transitions were very easy for us and the ICD-10 Wizard made the coding changeover works well. We did not have any claims rejected due to coding errors.
Cons
Part of why our office decided to move to this tool was the lower support cost so it was frustrating when that pricing increased unexpectedly while IT support wait times also got longer. There were times we waited 20 to 30 minutes in a queue of 10 to 15 people just to get a basic question answered. Every now and then, even after finally reaching someone by phone or chat, they still could not provide a solution. That said, the higher-level support team was extremely capable and consistently delivered excellent help whenever we had to escalate an issue. Our questions were always answered quickly at that level and on the few occasions when we ran into more difficult problems, upper-tier IT support was outstanding. In the end, everything did get resolved and we were able to keep moving without much delay. It has expanded a lot over the last few years and it seems clear they have had to bring on additional staff. At times, it has been noticeable that some newer IT team members are still learning the system and do not yet know all of the program's details so there has been a learning curve on their side. It does seem to be getting better, though and I am hopeful the support costs level out and the overall customer service experience continues to improve.

“Best Decision ever”
Pros
This is the best decision for our business that my husband ever made. It may have saved our marriage! LOL I am saving so much time on my billing and patient recalls and once my staff learned it has made all of our lives easier, which means our patient care has dramatically improved! Thank you for all the training and support as they have been amazing. 6 months later and still amazed by the software and the support has been world-class - they are always helpful and very nice. ChiroTouch Chiropractic EMR Software is amazing.
Cons
Support is not open on Saturday, but they need a break too as well.

“powerful charting automation”
Pros
After the initial setup is done the system offers a lot of automated features to work with. As a physician, charting takes up a big portion of my time in any EHR and that matters a lot to me. It definitely took quite a while to configure everything the way I wanted but once the macros were built out properly, charting became mostly a matter of clicking the correct buttons.
Cons
A lot of the features presented to us early on during the sales process turned out to be add-ons that required extra payment. On top of that even basic technical support comes with a monthly or yearly subscription cost. The interface also feels like it is stuck in the early 2000s and there is really no meaningful way to customize it to look better. We also bought computers for this tool based on their recommendations and those machines were already becoming outdated and unable to handle software updates within the first couple of years.

“support costs keep changing”
Pros
Using it day to day is fairly easy and having everything in one EHR is helpful. Scheduling and front desk tasks are simple to manage, the insurance billing and accounting are decent and the provider notes and macros work well.
Cons
It does not offer much flexibility for remote use. Another frustration is the way support pricing keeps changing.

“fast rollout and user-friendly workflow”
Pros
It was pretty easy to set up and the system is simple for both the doctors and the front office team to use day to day.
Cons
Moving from the server-based version to the cloud-based one was not a simple transition. Also, the clearinghouse changes need to stop.

“multi-clinic flexibility”
Pros
Being able to use this software across multiple clinics is really helpful and makes managing everything much more convenient.
Cons
Support is lacking when the system goes down during East Coast business hours and the training is terrible. Different parts of the software keep failing all the time, whether it's billing not working, the system shutting down, inaccurate reports or patient statements being wrong. There are just too many issues to even list.

“useful features, pricey overall”
Pros
It gets the job done, is user-friendly and can be customized when you need to add items. It also does a good job of reminding me about compliance requirements and the necessary details for patient notes.
Cons
I do value this tool and appreciate what it offers but the cost is starting to feel very expensive.

“false promises and extra charges”
Pros
There was honestly nothing positive about this company or its software. We were misled about nearly every capability they claimed it had.
Cons
This tool reached out to us about replacing our current server-based software with an online platform that, according to them, would handle everything we were already doing and even more. It ended up taking three months just to move our data from the old system into this one, only for us to discover that their software would not integrate with our insurance providers. Then we were told we would need to pay for added services from another vendor just to get it working properly. At that stage, with no meaningful support and no real effort to solve the insurance integration issue, we decided not to continue with it. What made the whole situation even worse was that we never actually used the system, yet we were still billed for several months of services that were never provided. The whole experience felt like they sold us an impressive story, failed to deliver on any of it and still charged us anyway. I would strongly recommend staying away from this company because it felt completely fraudulent.

“flexible notes and scheduling”
Pros
Keeping up with patient notes and the schedule is simple and making changes when needed doesn't take much effort.

“high cost and weak training”
Pros
It does include several tools and features that a lot of other chiropractic software platforms do not offer. The IT support team is also very helpful and once you become familiar with how the system works, it can be usable and fit your workflow fairly well.
Cons
The price is too high and they no longer give you the option to purchase a license outright. It also does not really support running multiple clinic locations properly. On top of that some reports come out inaccurate and the training is very poor, even after completing their University program.

“billing and coding are top notch”
Pros
Moving to the cloud has been a definite improvement compared with using a server. The training videos are helpful and the billing and coding side of the software works really well.
Cons
Getting up to speed with the program has been challenging. The customer support I have needed hasn't really been there and while the self-guided videos exist, they don't always cover the specific answers I am trying to find.

“manual remittance posting slows us down”
Pros
Once everything is set up and running, this software lets us handle just about everything in the office from one system.
Cons
One thing I have noticed is that there doesn't seem to be a way to electronically download remittances or EOBs directly into the patient ledger so those entries have to be added manually. Our previous software could post them electronically to the patient ledger and that saved a lot of time.
