“helpful billing support and reminders”
Pros
ChiroTouch is fairly easy to use and it doesn't take much to understand how it works. The scheduling tools are convenient and the appointment reminders have been especially useful for us. Pro Bill also has some truly excellent employees and we've been very thankful for their support. One team member in particular has been outstanding and has gone far above and beyond while helping us work through some very complicated billing problems. She is always polite, quick to respond and genuinely willing to help however she can. We never think twice about reaching out because we know she'll get back to us fast and do everything she can to assist. She's the best!
Cons
A frustrating part of using the program is that we get logged out pretty often and we've also dealt with some technical problems that were concerning enough to require several phone calls before we could get everything resolved.

“adaptable layout and clear screens”
Pros
Navigating through it is very easy. Once you get familiar with the layout, you can quickly scan the screens and spot the information you need without much effort. The way the software is divided into separate sections also helps keep everything organized so it's less likely you'll wander into an area you didn't mean to access while working. Another big plus is how flexible it is for different users since each person can customize their individual account in the way that fits their workflow best.
Cons
There are really just two concerns on my end and one of them is a pretty major one. We still have former doctors in the system along with their client base and we need a way to either remove them or mark them inactive in bulk. We've already reached out about this but haven't gotten any response so we're still stuck dealing with access to far too many clients who are no longer part of our practice. The second issue is much smaller as it would be really helpful if the Chat Center included a date and time stamp on conversations so we can

“packed with practical features”
Pros
There's a really strong range of features here. The inventory and vendor management tools do a nice job of keeping everything organized and making it clear what products are currently on hand. The handoff from front desk entry to the doctor works well and the communication tools are a helpful addition. Scheduling runs reliably and there are plenty of areas to add patient notes. Checkout is especially convenient since everything can be handled from one screen. It's also very helpful to be able to quickly see a patient's previous exam date.
Cons
Getting everything configured is a massive job. Each insurance plan has to be entered in several different sections and the doctor also has to build out macro keys which takes a lot of time. Printing a PI case can also be frustrating because the notes from one visit to the next end up looking almost identical. Patients often became impatient while completing intake on the iPad and we had quite a few errors that led to non-payment. We also tried the pro-bill service and were disappointed. The billing side of customer service needs a lot of improvement and we spent far too much time going back and forth with that department. On top of that PQRS reporting is not included. We also had recurring issues with the network dropping connection to the iPads which meant frequent calls to tech support. One lesson we learned is not to use the front desk computer as the server because when tech support has to step in, it really disrupts the flow of the office.

“all-in-one chiropractic powerhouse”
Pros
From scheduling and billing integration to charting and everything in between, this software packs a lot into one powerful system. It really helps a small chiropractic office run in a more organized and efficient way.
Cons
The biggest problem is the cost. There are other similar options available for less money or even free, though they usually do not offer the same level of full integration as this one.

“helpful updates and amazing support”
Pros
One thing I have really liked with CT is how well they communicate whenever updates are coming, including what's changing and how it might affect our office. The Town Halls and regular webinars have also been incredibly helpful because they keep us informed and provide a lot of useful product knowledge. I also rely on the CT Community since it's a convenient place to look up how-to information and go back to past webinars and Town Halls whenever needed. On top of that CT's support team has been absolutely outstanding as they are patient, knowledgeable and always willing to do everything they can to help.
Cons
There are occasional hiccups from time to time but CT is usually quick to respond and fix the issues. Their strong customer service makes those situations much easier to handle when problems come up.

“Best for billing”
Pros
It comes with all the insurance forms and claims documentation that you would need. There are a lot of automated features which reduce menial administrative work. The charting feature is really easy once you have them customized and set up how you like them according to your desire.

I don't have anything to complain about so far.

“fast charting and flexible templates”
Pros
Chart notes are quick to complete and the templates can be customized very well.
Cons
The platform is outdated and is missing modern web-based functionality. It relies on too many separate apps that don't connect properly with each other. For example, you can't click a patient's name on the schedule and jump straight to their chart or clinical information. The reports are also non-interactive so if you run something like a missing data report, you can't select the patient's name and go directly to the chart to fix it. The iPad app is behind the times as well and it doesn't let you view the previous day's chart notes or schedule. If a chart from the day before wasn't finished, there's nowhere to see unfinished chart notes the way most other EHRs allow. Actually, the only way to find unfinished charts is by running those same non-interactive reports. E-prescribing is costly, there is no lab integration and you can't email or otherwise communicate with patients from their chart. Checking the schedule from home requires logging into their system but even then you still can't complete chart notes. Overall, it feels like the software hasn't had any meaningful update in about 10 years and honestly looks like something from 2005.

“insurance and ledger frustrations”
Pros
Having everything I need in a single platform is definitely a plus.
Cons
I feel like the way primary and secondary insurance including old versus new policies are separated really needs work. The insurance section and the ledgers both feel like areas that still need a lot of improvement.

“dated and clunky workflow”
Pros
One thing this software does have going for it is fast customer service. That matters because support is needed all the time. They usually reply quickly, even though the help itself often is like the reps are not fully sure what they're doing.
Cons
The functionality is pretty terrible. It is far too expensive for server-based software and the whole system looks outdated. Moving between screens is not easy too, nothing about it is user friendly and the learning curve is very steep. Even very basic tasks require having several screens open at the same time.

“helpful reminders and online forms”
Pros
Appointment text reminders, the iPad patient check-in apps and the option for patients to complete their paperwork online have all been really useful.
Cons
One thing that's frustrating is that the SOAP notes don't offer randomized text from one note to the next. It's also difficult to view other family members' account balances directly from the checkout screen.

“customizable and gets the job done”
Pros
It handles what I need it to and there's a decent amount of customization available depending on how you want to use it.
Cons
There are too many separate windows open at the same time which makes the workflow feel cluttered. The clinical and front desk applications also don't communicate very well with each other and the reporting isn't always accurate.

Pros
I really like the billing portion of the software. You can post EOBs and track claims. Creating disputes is also no longer tricky. I am not going to switch from this now for a long time.
Cons

“too many clicks and confusion”
Pros
At this point I can't really point to any positives because the experience has been so frustrating. Nothing is user friendly and getting around the system is far more complicated than it should be. Good software should be advanced but still simple to use, with as few clicks as possible. In a busy office, the focus needs to stay on patient care, not on struggling with overly complicated software.
Cons
Day to day it seems very labor intensive and overly complicated. There are too many features packed in which makes navigation confusing and leads to mistakes. It slows productivity because it takes far too many clicks to complete routine tasks. On top of that I end up calling tech support almost every day and those calls take hours out of my workdays and even my days off, leaving little time to get anything else done.

“buggy system and awful support”
Pros
Trying to use this product in a busy practice has been incredibly frustrating. It's full of bugs, far from user friendly and really doesn't support an efficient workflow at all. On top of that customer service has been terrible as I am still waiting to hear back about a critical issue I reported two weeks ago.
Cons
This has been a horrible experience overall. The servers are painfully slow and the system spends a good part of the day just spinning. You can't delete a duplicate patient, there's no way to process a partial refund and cancelled appointments vanish from the schedule entirely. And yes, customer service is every bit as awful as it sounds.

“claim limits and constant glitches”
Pros
Working as the billing manager for a busy multi specialty practice with four providers, I can say ChiroTouch does help simplify a few of my everyday responsibilities. Being able to import ERAs directly and post them with one click is a big plus. Creating claims, fixing claim errors and posting insurance payments is also simple and user friendly.
Cons
It's really frustrating that even in 2018 this software still can't map more than four diagnoses onto an electronic claim. A huge part of my day ends up being spent on resubmissions because the charges sent out are not properly supported by the diagnoses listed on the claim. This has apparently been a known problem with it for years and it still hasn't been fixed which is very disappointing. On top of that some basic time-saving data entry features are missing, like being able to copy demographics and insurance details for multiple family members. There are also workflow problems at the kiosk as if a patient is seeing two providers on the same day, they can't check in correctly so their subjective information doesn't get captured. In Touch also has several glitchy behaviors. If there are multiple active accounts, recall messages are sent separately and whenever Windows updates, the In Touch services stop working and active campaigns like appointment reminders get deleted. Then everything has to be rebuilt or patients stop receiving their reminders.
