customizable but frustrating support

Pros

The software is customizable, although I assume a lot of other products offer similar flexibility.

Cons

Trying to reach customer service has been a nightmare for four straight days. I have been stuck on hold for hours, only for the automated system to disconnect the call. Tech support is also very inconsistent as only a handful of technicians actually help, while most just pass you along and say they can't assist. Then when you finally get through again, the next person suddenly has no issue helping. Sales is very friendly when they're trying to get your business but if you need a refund or want to cancel, it's nearly impossible. On top of that the product has several glitches.

helpful notes and scheduler

Pros

Being able to point and click to fill in notes is really useful and the scheduler works quite well too.

Cons

There's apparently a cloud-based option but the server-based version is a pain to deal with. It's very expensive, is confusing and support costs a lot too yet it's basically necessary because things are bound to go wrong and without a support package, you're left on your own. It's supposed to be strong for office management but it's not very user friendly.

mobile workflow that really delivers

Pros

The big plus is being able to connect the mobile device to the server at the business manager's workstation. It lets us move from one treatment room to another without needing a separate computer in every room which makes the workflow much more flexible.

Cons

The upfront price feels pretty steep and I am not a fan of the support setup. Instead of paying only for the help we need, the only maintenance option is an expensive annual fee.

top-notch support and usability

Pros

It is very easy to use and the customer support team has been outstanding. As they did an excellent job resolving my backup issue.

Cons

It ends up being a bit expensive overall but it does exactly what it's meant to do.

clean design and organized workflow

Pros

The layout is user friendly and pleasant to work with. Setting up the daily schedule was also easy and checking patients in and out, taking payments and handling insurance processing all fit nicely into the workflow. The SOAP notes also looked polished and well organized which made documentation feel more professional.

Cons

One area that took more effort than it should have was setting up and printing monthly statements correctly. There were also times when entering insurance payments became a bit messy.

Being able to get into ChiroTouch from anywhere is a huge plus and makes it really convenient to use.

The biggest adjustment is that it feels very different compared with the server version.

Pros

patient management that delivers

Pros

Patient management, scheduling and pulling up patient lists or reports all work really well in ChiroTouch. Overall, it handles the day to day workflow reliably and does a good job with the core functions we use most.

Cons

A few reporting issues have come up especially with certain report types where the numbers don't always seem to line up correctly. We'd also love added features, like scheduling multiple family members at the same time, along with more ways to customize different parts of the software.

perfect fit for our practice

Pros

Running a high-volume practice makes switching to a new EMR feel like trying to jump onto a moving train so I expected a tough transition. ChiroTouch turned out to be simple tool and the whole process felt stress free. We've been using it for several years now and have been extremely happy with it.

Cons

Honestly there isn't anything about the software that we dislike.

robust records and seamless workflow

Pros

Being able to customize my records has been a huge advantage. The system is powerful enough that I can chart quickly while still keeping my documentation complete. Having scheduling, EHR and billing all connected has made a big difference too and the errors we used to deal with have basically disappeared since switching to CT.

Cons

With so many features packed into the system, it can feel a bit overwhelming at first for new users. That said, after a few training calls, it starts to make sense and those initial concerns fade pretty quickly.

hidden gems throughout

Pros

There are a lot of valuable features tucked away in this software. It's a really strong product overall but the support side used to be better before they began separating the level of help based on how much you pay. The assistance should reflect their confidence in the product itself, not depend on whether someone is willing to spend extra on a higher-tier customer service package.

Cons

The biggest downside is that there aren't good enough instructions for actually uncovering those hidden features. Support was also better in the past, before they started limiting the quality of help according to what customers are willing to pay. For a product this good, the service should come from standing behind it, not from pushing users toward a more expensive support plan.

thoughtful scheduling and support

Pros

ChiroTouch has been very easy to use. The scheduler is especially well designed and simple to work with and the accounting side is also very user-friendly. Another thing I like is how helpful and kind the staff always are. They actually listen to suggestions and try to include as many as possible in future updates. I also enjoy the conferences because I seem to learn something new every time I attend one.

Cons

Customer service wait times can occasionally be a bit long, although I usually get connected much faster when I use the chat wizard feature. It also feels like quite a few useful features are only available at an extra cost and it would be better if some of those were already included in the base price.

support that's always there

Pros

Whenever we need help, the ChiroTouch support team has been incredibly dependable especially one support agent. This person has been a huge support to our company from the very beginning. They are always just a phone call away and there is consistently someone available to help with whatever comes up, no matter the time of day. Every interaction has been friendly and pleasant.

Cons

Even though everyone would love an instant answer some issues simply do not work that way. Certain problems need time to be properly researched, just like any other technical challenge but the team handles them as efficiently and promptly as possible and always follows up.

unmatched support and powerful tools

Pros

Running a multidisciplinary office with three separate ChiroTouch accounts has given me plenty of chances to compare it with other platforms and honestly nothing else I tested came close in terms of usability or the range of features it offers across patient care. My top four features really stand out. First, the text appointment reminders have boosted compliance in my offices and made communication between staff and patients much better. Second, the reports that automatically populate in patient charts for outcome measures are excellent as the grading, graphing and comments are impressive and save a lot of time. Third, being able to build macros for any condition and wording I need makes the system feel highly personalized to me and my practices. And above all, the customer service is on another level. I truly feel that my needs are taken seriously and everyone especially Pep consistently goes the extra mile to support my practice. The one-on-one attention, along with the time they spend teaching and guiding me on how to use the system effectively, is more than I could have asked for.

Cons

It's honestly difficult to point to any real downside. I am extremely satisfied with both the product and the service.

faster charting for busy clinics

Pros

Keeping up with chart notes during the visit is much quicker with the notes system which helps both accuracy and overall time savings. The one-on-one training we received before making the switch was also something I really appreciated.

Cons

Like a lot of software companies, tech support can be slower than I'd prefer. There are also a few areas I'd still like to see improved especially the messenger. That said, the company does pay attention to user feedback and includes changes in updates when they believe they're necessary. In the end, the positives outweigh the negatives and I would recommend it for high-volume chiropractic practices.

trusted name with strong peer support

Pros

ChiroTouch is a well-known platform in chiropractic and a lot of doctors are already familiar with it. Because of that getting help from colleagues and other users was pretty easy whenever I needed guidance.

Cons

Performance was noticeably slow, even in a small office setup. Since it's only server-based, there's not much you can do outside the office unless you use Remote Desktop which made it feel even slower. The iPad apps were also unreliable and crashed often especially when I was typing or clicking quickly.

very user-friendly with helpful direct connects

Pros

Our clinic uses the full range of tools and features and the software is very user-friendly. The Direct Connects are especially valuable and that option consistently gives us the best information.

Cons

I do wish the reporting options were better or at least explained more clearly. For instance, our clinic wants to compare yearly statistics side by side to track growth but even after multiple conversations with different CT staff, we still do not understand why one report shows different information than another, such as the end-of-day reports versus the CT Pro monthly stats.
