“affordable setup with flexible notes”
Pros
Getting started with the system was reasonably priced which made the initial investment appealing. It also works well for practices with multiple doctors and the ability to customize doctor notes is a big plus.
Cons
Customer support has been disappointing, posting checks is not very efficient and some reports contain inaccurate information. On top of that the monthly fees for the features that really set the program apart add up quickly. There are also glitches in the software that never seem to get resolved and we've been told more than once that there's no fix and we should simply ignore the issues.

“reliable support always”
Pros
Overall, the software has been quite dependable and when something does come up, the support team is usually able to resolve it once you're able to reach them.
Cons
One thing I really wish is that the software were web-based. It would make things simpler, cut down on hardware demands and let me do charting from home. If I were buying again, I'd probably go with a web-based option instead.

“Inefficient. Poor value for money”
Pros
Few features like photo identification and SALTing data from previous notes, were helpful.
Cons
ChiroTouch is nothing like the company promises you at the time of buying. The system is far from intuitive. You have to put in too much work. The system is always crashing. There are only limited options for customization. We encounter problems with the software at least once every month. Sometimes, it’s the billing, sometimes there’s a problem logging in, the system would crash or backups won’t happen. Theres always something with CT causing us trouble. The customer support is unreliable and inconsistent. They are never available when you need them.

“too many add-on costs”
Pros
Getting around the system is pretty easy and user-friendly and it handles a lot of the smaller day to day office tasks for you. Reaching support is also not a problem as they're accessible and generally helpful when you do get in touch.
Cons
A lot of those useful extra touches end up costing more as add-ons which is frustrating. The scheduler also feels unnecessarily repetitive because it takes too many clicks to get simple things done and the online support resources are hard to search and rarely give the answer you actually need.

“convenient notes but expensive”
Pros
Writing patient notes is really easy, whether it's for a new exam or a routine daily visit.
Cons
This tool has both positives and negatives but the biggest downside is that it's expensive.

“flexible customization that delivers”
Pros
Nearly every part of it can be tailored to fit the way I work. I tend to adjust settings or workflows a bit every month so things stay more practical and quicker for what I need.
Cons
It isn't quite as user friendly as I would prefer but with occasional support from the company, I am usually able to get everything set up the way I need. And once those changes are in place, they stay that way without needing constant fixes.

“Great fit for busy offices”
Pros
This software is like a strong match for a busy, growing office especially for the way practices were operating in 2018. Technology really does keep everything moving quickly and this system supports that pace well.
Cons
One thing that bothers me is how much it slows down when too many tasks are happening at the same time. I realize that kind of issue exists with a lot of software but with all the different layers involved here, I was expecting it to handle that a little better.

“all-in-one workflow and templates”
Pros
Built-in templates are readily available and the system is easy to use. Everything you need is right there with a click, whether it's the provider screen, front desk, calendar or other key areas.
Cons
On an iPad charting quick notes gets frustrating when a lot of patients are checked in. Each time you switch to a different patient, it jumps back to the very first person on the check-in list. In a busy, high-volume office, that becomes a real nuisance and makes using an iPad for charting less practical since you have to keep scrolling through a long list just to find the note you need.

“complete ehr workflow”
Pros
ChiroTouch brings together the full EHR system and covers every part of the office workflow in one place.
Cons
Even after going through the training videos, the software still doesn't feel very user friendly. It takes too many clicks to handle simple tasks.

“robust billing and reporting”
Pros
Once the macros are in place, the system is pretty simple to work with. Billing and reporting are excellent and it does a great job of helping keep track of statistics. The patient check-in option is also really useful, along with the ability to enter subjective information.
Cons
Its price is definitely something to consider. It's one of the more expensive EHR options, even though it does come as a complete package. They also charge extra for text reminders and those have been unreliable lately. On top of that customer support sometimes takes more than a day to respond.

“overpriced with unreachable support”
Pros
One part that does work well is patient check-in. It also lets us scan documents into the system, connects with outside services for text reminders and gives patients the option to complete and send in their paperwork online.
Cons
The cost is very high especially for how many extra features are included that we never actually use. On top of that the tech support fee increases quite a bit every year and getting in touch with customer service is frustratingly difficult.

“billing issues and no support”
Pros
After bringing in three different billing companies to help with our claims, every one of them said the billing side simply didn't work.
Cons
The billing part of the software failed to function the way it should and there was no support available to help us deal with the problems.

“front desk integration wins”
Pros
Right away the biggest plus with CT was how well everything connects with the front desk. The video library has also been really helpful for training new staff without needing to reach out for extra support.
Cons
After using CT for more than five years, I have seen the company go through its growing pains but there have been so many changes and improvements over time that I honestly can't think of any real downside.

“support is excellent”
Pros
Every time I reach out, the support team is fantastic. The people I speak with actually answer my questions and are very helpful.
Cons
The scheduling feature really needs to connect with the calendar so patients don't get double-booked. It would also help if the Documents tab were easier to access from the charts so providers can quickly view scanned documents related to each patient.

“robust tools for practice success”
Pros
ChiroTouch is very powerful and includes all the information and tools we need to run a successful practice. I also appreciate that they keep improving the product based on what customers actually need.
Cons
It can feel a bit intimidating at first but the training is helpful and the one-on-one 20-minute sessions make the learning process much easier.

“Average. Needs a lot of improvements”
Pros
ChiroTouch software is very easy to use, no extra effort in learning the system after some due training. The patients database is very organized which makes locating data very easy. The appointments scheduling module is good. Workflow is streamlined.
Cons
Our experience with hasnt been the worst but not good either. The need to update the patient check-in/out section with respect to which body part is affected and related details. The most annoying things about it is that emails and reminders for appointments and tests dont send half the times. Customer service is spotty at best. They are either not available when needed or cant provide a satisfying answer.

“perfect fit for small practices”
Pros
It works especially well for smaller offices with fewer than 10 users. The SALT feature makes updating SOAP notes quick and convenient, scheduling is also easy and the macro tools help a lot with documenting regional exams. There's also plenty of flexibility to customize the system to match the way your office works.
Cons
Once the office gets beyond 10 users, performance starts to lag. It's also not a strong fit for integrated practices with DC, MD and PT workflows. A few important billing features are missing, like handling more than one copay and there's no formal way to append notes after they've been signed. Since it's server-based instead of cloud-based, that can be limiting and customization can take quite a while to set up. It also doesn't integrate with lab testing and extra tools like DICOM viewers and patient reminders come with added monthly fees.

“productive ehr with add-on costs”
Pros
Compared with the two other EHR systems I used before, this one has been the most productive and simplest EHR/business software to work with. Those earlier programs were pretty limited and didn't integrate well with my business software, while this one is much more capable. Tech support has also been excellent and very pleasant to deal with.
Cons
The downside is having to pay additional monthly fees for certain add-ons.

“fast notes, update hiccups”
Pros
Getting notes done is very easy and the speed of documenting visits is a big plus. The billing and payment integration also cuts down the number of steps needed to finish transactions which makes the overall workflow more convenient.
Cons
The frustrating part is that almost every update seems to break something that was working before. The issue usually gets fixed pretty quickly but it still means making an extra phone call that shouldn't be necessary.

“useful features, slow support”
Pros
This software has been stress?free to use and comes with many useful features. It has helped our staff save both time and money because we can use it efficiently. Once you're familiar with the system and have used it for a while, it becomes very user?friendly.
Cons
One frustration is that getting help from the support team can take a while since their response time is often slow. Building and setting up macros also takes time and the platform doesn't include every bell and whistle. Even so, it does handle the core tasks well, though there is definitely a learning curve at the beginning.
