“helpful support and simple workflow”
Pros
The system is pretty easy to use and the support team has been really helpful whenever an issue comes up that I can't sort out on my own.
Cons
One thing that has been incredibly frustrating in the new update is the way patient statements are handled now. If you choose to print only a specific date range, it no longer carries the balance forward which throws off the entire ledger. That makes it a huge hassle to produce the most accurate statements unless you print the full ledger every time. I really hate this part of the update. Please bring back the old statement format and save some trees.

“feature-packed and highly customizable”
Pros
There's an impressive amount built into it and you can customize or program just about anything you need.
Cons
The biggest downside is definitely the price. Having to pay for a support plan is frustrating and I am not a fan of needing extra add-ons on top of that.

“patient engagement and scheduling boost”
Pros
Keeping up with scheduling, online forms and patient interaction has been really helpful with ChiroTouch. It does a nice job managing those day to day tasks and gives me better ways to stay engaged with patients.
Cons
I am using the cloud version right now and while it offers a lot of useful functionality some workflows can be frustrating. There are also times when the system feels slow, even when my internet connection is strong.

“front desk upgrades shine”
Pros
Getting started with it was quick and the system is very user-friendly overall. Setting up the front desk buttons was easy too and I have really been enjoying the latest update especially the improvements to the front desk screen.
Cons
Editing and setting up macros is still pretty frustrating. The text reminders have improved but I'd still like to see more cell phone providers included on the list. It also seems like some other platforms don't require selecting a specific carrier just to use texting. Another thing that would help is allowing text reminders to include the appointment type, like an adjustment or massage, instead of only showing the appointment time.

“quick note features”
Pros
Adding certain items to notes is pretty fast which helps speed things up during documentation.
Cons
The scheduling, patient record management and notes don't really work together in a cohesive way. It would also be helpful to have patient reminders and online scheduling built in. On top of that the system crashes on a regular basis.

“customized notes that fit perfectly”
Pros
Switching to this has been one of the best decisions I have made for my practice, second only to going to chiropractic school. The exams and daily notes are very simple to work with and I really appreciate being able to customize the exams and dropdowns however I want. It lets me document care my way instead of following another doctor's exam style and that has made my workflow even better than before. The ADLs and FOAs are also very helpful for tracking patient progress.
Cons
The only downside is that customer support runs on California time so they are not available until 9 a.m.

“front desk works beautifully”
Pros
Right from the front desk side, everything works really well. All the information I need is visible, quick to access, clearly organized and laid out in a way that's simple to read.
Cons
On the provider side, though, it's a different story and still needs a lot of improvement. It feels like the front desk workflow got much more attention, while providers were left dealing with the harder parts. Charting should be far more user-friendly and much simpler to navigate. Providers are already doing most of the heavy lifting and don't have extra time to figure out workarounds or deal with system issues. That part really should have been the top priority when the system was built because it needs to be much easier for providers to use.

“customizable workflow powerhouse”
Pros
After working with three different chiropractic office management systems, ChiroTouch has clearly been the strongest one for my practice. I have used it for the last nine years and during that time I have watched the platform grow its features and services in ways that really keep up with what the market needs. The added tools and regular updates have saved a huge amount of time for both me and my staff which helps us manage more patients without feeling overloaded. It's also very customizable so there is a bit of setup time at the beginning to shape it around the way your practice operates. That said, the effort upfront absolutely pays off over time in better efficiency and long-term usability. A few standout features for me are patient self check-in, advanced patient intake and CT reminders. I would definitely recommend it to anyone running a chiropractic practice.
Cons
The statistical reporting feature could be more powerful than it currently is.

“custom calendar for busy clinics”
Pros
The calendar is one of the best parts of this software. It can be tailored to fit the way your practice runs, including scheduling by time slots and managing multiple doctors.
Cons
Smartcloud is difficult to move around in and doesn't feel very user-friendly. We also had the system freeze on us fairly often which was frustrating.

“helpful alerts and rich features”
Pros
Right away the wide range of features and the user-friendly setup made this software enjoyable to work with. The patient alerts are especially useful and make check-in and check-out at the clinic much more efficient.
Cons
The overall color scheme and design feel a bit dated compared with some newer platforms. Billing and accounting can also be frustrating at times since it is not always simple to navigate and locate exactly what you need.

“fast charting and all-in-one billing”
Pros
Charting became much faster with this software and having billing built into the same system was a big plus. It works really well for that. At the same time, it is heavily designed around chiropractors unless you want to spend a lot of time creating your own codes for everything else.
Cons
It would be much better if there were settings to make it more user-friendly for physios, massage therapists, osteopaths and similar providers. There were quite a few times when I didn't realize I was using a chiropractic-specific function and it changed all of my paperwork so the wording no longer matched my role as a massage therapist.

“helpful reminders and cloud backup”
Pros
One thing I really appreciate is the add-on option for automatic text reminders to patients about their appointments. It's also nice that cloud backup is available and there are extra features you can add on if you're willing to pay for them.
Cons
The wording used in the SOAP note fields is very weak. There's basically no random text variation and if you rely on the drop-down menu, the notes tend to look the same from one visit to the next. Because of that, I end up manually typing about 90% of the note content.

“helpful support and clear workflow”
Pros
Whenever I need help, the support team explains everything in a way that actually makes sense. They're knowledgeable, efficient and very patient which makes a big difference when I have questions or run into issues. The ChiroTouch software itself is easy to use, keeps everything well organized and accessible and the layout is clear with large, readable text. It also automates a lot of tasks which saves time and effort.
Cons
The scheduler feels a little more complicated than I'd like especially when it comes to changing block colors and managing active providers.

“admin restrictions slow coding”
Pros
Getting around the system is fairly easy. Building and adjusting templates doesn't take much effort and when macros are created, they can be inserted into notes without much trouble.
Cons
Adding diagnostic codes like ICD-10 is frustrating unless you have administrator access. The available workarounds are too complicated and time-consuming to bother with and the medical notes really need to be customized to fit your specific workflow.

“own your software, constant upgrades”
Pros
One of the biggest advantages is that you actually own the software. It keeps getting regular improvements and updates and it works well with other company software and equipment like Xray, Sigma, Cash Practice and Subluxation Station. The people behind it have also been excellent. Rick and Lawrence especially have been wonderful to work with.
Cons
Lately, the wait times for support have gotten longer than they used to be. It would really help if their phone system included an automatic callback option. It would also make sense to offer a discount for Canadian chiropractors who do not need or use the full range of billing features.

“ipad workflow that delivers”
Pros
After reviewing a large number of healthcare platforms and user feedback, our team chose this one and that decision has absolutely held up. It runs really well on the iPad which makes it convenient for doctors to manage patient records, keep up with appointments and client visits, handle billing and financial tasks and create medical reports quickly in a format that's simple to use. On top of that the after-sales support has been very responsive whenever anything comes up. For a smaller chiropractic practice, I'd definitely recommend ChiroTouch.

“Seems very old”
Pros
It is not that easy to find a pro for something that gives you a hard time and you don’t like, so can’t mention any.
Cons
Chirotouch isn’t a good system. It costed us a lot of our time and energy as we switched but it hasn’t been worth it. The customer support team is not so great, they are unable to solve any of our problems that we report to them. It seems like the employees that they have aren’t trained well. The representative usually never understands what the question is and never knows how to respond to it. The software itself is disorganized. It looks like it was made for people in the older age, not a good interface. The system is slow and is unable to do even easy tasks like printing and stuff. They don’t seem to improve.
