integration issues hurt usability

Pros

It is pretty easy to use, even though we're still in the early stages and haven't come close to using everything it can do yet. Honestly the customer service alone would be enough reason for me to purchase it. Their team has made the transition much easier and turned the learning process into a genuinely pleasant experience.

Cons

There are still a few integration problems with the software. I'd also prefer not to have one screen controlling all the separate apps and it would be much better if the program were smart enough not to launch the same app component multiple times when its icon gets clicked more than once. Nothing major but still a bit annoying.

perfect fit for chiropractic offices

Pros

ChiroTouch software is simple and the different tools it offers are practical and simple to navigate. It is very well designed for a chiropractor's office and fits that workflow really well.

Cons

It can handle almost everything that would normally go into a paper chart or even be done through separate programs, aside from a few minor exceptions. The customer service is also excellent which is a huge advantage when you're first learning how to use the system.

helpful scheduling and claims tools

Pros

Scheduling and appointment reminders have been useful and the claims work list also does a good job of helping keep things organized.

Cons

The software tends to crash pretty often and there are times when patient records do not load properly. The built-in patient check-in feature can also be difficult to use.

functional software, awful company

Pros

At the end of the day, it does the job. It's definitely an improvement over relying on paper and pen and having everything on a computer makes the workflow more modern. The typing feature is useful and the touch screens are a nice part of the system as well.

Cons

Dealing with their customer support has been a terrible experience and honestly feels unethical. I have been lied to multiple times which has completely destroyed my trust in the company. Because of that, I would strongly recommend staying away from them.

Extensive Software

Pros

The system is extensive, has a lot of great features. It is easy to use and can be customized according to what you desire. Although there are times when you’re unable to find things because they’re hidden. Patients can make their own appointments, describe their symptoms etc. It generates reports as well and gives an overview of the entire clinic, which is quite beneficial in many terms.

Cons

There are times when the system goes down and you’re unable to access any information that is on the system. The technical support isn’t that great. The user interface is not so good at all, generating reports usually requires a lot of clicking and reports cannot be customized easily. Although this system is complete and has a lot of great features, but I would still recommend you look for something else.

frustrating billing and visit counts

Pros

One positive thing I can say is that the customer support team is friendly and the program has a colorful interface. Beyond that, I really do not have much else to compliment.

Cons

Using this software is frustrating because it is not user friendly at all. The patient count is inaccurate since the system tracks visits based on how many services are provided during one appointment instead of the actual number of days the patient came in. I do not know any insurance companies that want a service count rather than a true visit count. Making charge corrections takes far too many steps and rebilling is just as complex. If charges were posted incorrectly, there is no simple way to fix them without first removing all payments and charges, then re-entering everything again. There is also no real option to enter chart notes unless they are placed in the doctor's section. On top of that you have to check a patient in separately for every service they receive, then later delete extra charges so they are not billed multiple times at checkout, instead of just checking the patient in once and having each service recorded properly. Creating reports for workers' compensation patients is also unnecessarily difficult. I have used other software before and honestly this is one of the worst systems I have ever had to work with.

flexible notes and reliable billing

Pros

Handling notes, including SALT notes, along with charges and codes is very convenient. The cloud backup is available at a reasonable cost and billing through Officially works well too. Whenever I am able to get connected with a customer support rep, they usually sort out the problem.

Cons

There are still quite a few issues especially with text reminders and having to get someone to reset or sync all the iPads and other devices whenever the server restarts. I also wish there were more options to edit iPad notes on the doctor's side. Uploading X-rays in 2020 Imaging could definitely be more simple.

simple navigation and quick learning

Pros

Navigating the system is not a problem and searching for what I need doesn't take much effort.

Cons

Honestly there isn't much I dislike. I have only been in a chiropractic office for about four months and it was still pretty quick to learn.

custom notes and clean printouts

Pros

Getting notes done in this software is very easy and it lets you type wherever you need to when there isn't already a prompt available. You can also tailor your notes to fit your workflow which makes taking notes quicker and more convenient. The printed version of the notes comes out clean organized and very readable as well. This was the program I originally learned on for note taking and if I hadn't moved into a practice that was already using a different system, I likely would have stayed with this one.

Cons

After working with other software, though, it's clear this one could offer more built-in options so you don't have to rely on freeform typing quite as often.

all-in-one practice powerhouse

Pros

Pretty much everything we need is built into the platform so there's no real need to rely on outside tools. It covers all the basics in one complete system.

Cons

About the only thing missing is a way for it to magically know what I am thinking and write the visit note on its own.

user-friendly tool it is

Pros

The system is very user friendly and nearly self-explanatory. It doesn't take much training to get started and keeping everything organized and maintained with storage is simple.

Cons

A few features take some time to get used to and aren't as clear as I'd prefer. The reports also have a learning curve since it takes a while to understand exactly what information each one includes.

reliable scheduling and support

Pros

Using ChiroTouch has been very easy especially for scheduling and it's nice that you can add other useful services that work well with the program. The customer service has been excellent too and every time I have run into an issue, they've been able to get it resolved.

Cons

One thing I'd really like to see is a database of macros to choose from instead of having to create and customize each one yourself.

patient ledger needs work

Pros

One helpful part is that individual claims can be submitted straight from the Patient Ledger. I also appreciate that check postings are applied directly to the patient's account ledger which keeps that side of things connected.

Cons

At the same time the Patient Ledger is confusing and often doesn't show the information I need in the format that would actually be useful. The Patient Statements also make the dunning message too small to stand out properly. There are a number of minor improvements that could make the software better overall but they still haven't been addressed.

Getting around the different pages is very easy and the system is simple to use overall.

There are times when I wish the video library were stronger, with more content to help us improve how we use the software and get more done.

The software has not given us any kind of trouble.

Pros

The features and functionalities are well sectioned and keep things well defined and easy to use. Once you get used to the look and feel of the system everything becomes easy and in place. It is easy to find whatever you’re looking for. The support is great, and you can customize it as well which is super awesome. Any user can easily get the hang of it. Each user has their own individual accounts and settings are completely separate and different for each which they can make themselves according to their requirements.

Cons

There are doctors that have left but still have their accounts and use them, we want to inactivate those accounts so that they don’t have access to our client information, we’ve even asked for help from the company but yet we haven’t been given any solution to this problem.

Fast and Efficient

Pros

The product has amazing features, and it is really easy to use. Managing patient have become quite easy for us. The customer support team is superb, they always respond promptly, and you can easily get in touch with them through phone or online chat. They help you solve the problems that you’re facing with the system. Their SOAP templates are greats, makes notes fast and in an efficient way.

Cons

Software updates don’t really solve any of the problems that you might be facing with the system. The billing service in this system is not really that great, but it’s just okay.

Great Experience

Pros

The EHR is extremely user-friendly. They have quite a lot of features and at our clinic we use all of their features. Billing and scheduling has never been this easy, but now with Chirotouch it is. The information collected at the front desk now is much more accurate. The Direct Connects feature is great and we get the best information in that option. It is a good product.

Cons

It would be better if their reporting could be a bit improved, as we like to compare annual statistics of current year to previous year, but we’re somehow unable to do it due to the reports coming out in a different form/pattern with different info. And if they could also add a time clock feature that tracks employee hours would make it amazing.

reliable all-in-one for years

Pros

After using ChiroTouch for seven years, it still seems like a simple all in one system. And the support has been amazing too.

Cons

The biggest downsides are the long wait times when contacting support and the high cost. Support quality can also be inconsistent since not every rep seems properly trained and some tend to pass the issue along instead of resolving it.

packed provider window

Pros

Having everything in one provider window is a huge plus for me. It shows my adjustments and listings, diagnosis soAP note, X-rays, extra notes, care plan, insurance or payment details, plus any alerts I need to see. It really makes daily visits stress free. If you run a busy practice and want to keep track of the small details that help you connect better with patients, ChiroTouch is a really good fit.

Cons

Setting up the macros takes quite a bit of effort at the beginning. Once they're built, it's no longer a problem but the upfront work is definitely a lot.

fast notes and flexible scheduling

Pros

Customizable macros make note-taking accurate and fast which saves a lot of time during the day. Scheduling across multiple practitioners is also very convenient. Having my iPad in the room with patients is a big plus and I can wrap up a daily SOAP note in just a few clicks.

Cons

Support can be frustrating because responses often take a while. Reporting can also be hard to work with when trying to pull the right information and the billing side feels more labor-intensive than other systems I have used before. The search function could be much better too for diagnoses, you can search by code or description but if you search by description, it only works if you enter exactly how it begins. It won't pick up words from the middle or partial descriptions and there are also quite a few extra add-on fees.
