“custom narratives are a plus”
Pros
The system is easy to work with and being able to create your own narratives is a really helpful feature.
Cons
There are still a few features I wish could be adjusted or customized further.

“customizable and user-friendly setup”
Pros
It is pretty easy to use and using it is simple since it's mostly just click and go. One thing I really like is being able to arrange the buttons the way I want, in my own preferred order.
Cons
There are still a few reports I wish it included and it doesn't offer the option to message people based on their insurance companies.

“support team is fantastic”
Pros
One thing that really stands out is how helpful the support team is especially when you consider how complex the software they're supporting can be.
Cons
The graphics really need work as they should honestly bring in a graphic designer. It also feels more complicated than it needs to be.

“custom macros are helpful”
Pros
Setting up custom macros is really convenient and makes taking notes much quicker. It's also a big plus that I can message customer support and have them connect to my computer whenever I need assistance.
Cons
Pricing is the biggest downside to me. I just wish it were more affordable and that customer support was included in the overall cost.

“user-friendly billing platform”
Pros
Handling billing for several companies with ChiroTouch has been pretty easy. The system is simple to learn, easy to move around in and new employees usually pick it up without much trouble. Overall, it's a very understandable and teachable platform.
Cons
It doesn't have a lot of extra features or flashy add-ons but that's probably also part of why the program feels more practical and easier to use.

“reliable cloud access”
Pros
Being cloud-based is a real plus and makes it convenient to access when needed.
Cons
Certain parts of the program don't seem very user friendly and there isn't much we can do to improve or customize the system.

“paperless workflow wins”
Pros
It's a huge relief not having to deal with paper records anymore.
Cons
Customer support is where things really fall short. The wait times are incredibly long and when you finally reach someone, they can make you feel dumb for not already knowing how to fix the problem. It often comes across like they don't really care about helping customers and would rather be somewhere else.

“excellent support team”
Pros
The the best parts of using ChiroTouch has been how reliable and helpful the customer support team has been, both from the start and still now.
Cons
Every now and then, you run into a customer support rep who is not quite as helpful or impressive as the others.

“frustrating duplicate symptom entry”
Pros
One thing ChiroTouch does well is make communication with my chiropractor more organized. I can complete how I am feeling before my appointment so once my name is called, she can go right into my adjustment. That helps me get in and out of the office much faster. It also gives my chiropractor a way to monitor patterns in my health over time and share those trends with me which gives me helpful insight into my overall well-being.
Cons
The biggest frustration is that the form only lets me choose one body area at a time. For example, if I am having the same issue in both my right and left shoulder, I can't select them together and enter the symptoms once. Instead, I have to repeat the whole process twice, once for each side which makes filling out the form every week take much longer than it should.

“all-in-one workflow that clicks”
Pros
Everything works well together especially the provider all-in-one setup, the accounting module and the front desk so the whole workflow is connected.
Cons
Insurance tracking is where it falls short. It doesn't track the actual dollar limits based on what insurance really pays. Instead, it calculates using the total allowed amount which is inaccurate and has to be corrected manually.

“patient check-in and reminders”
Pros
Running my practice is much more manageable with ChiroTouch. It handles a large part of the office workflow and automates many tasks which gives my staff and me more time to focus on patient care. The self check-in feature on the iPad has been especially useful since it works like a digital sign-in sheet and stays HIPAA compliant. The automatic text appointment reminders are another feature I really appreciate because they help patients stay on track with their care plans. We also recently started using the MyChiroTown app and it's been nice that patients can book appointments right from their smartphones.
Cons
Accessing my chart notes from home could be more convenient. There is a way to do it but it's a bit harder than I'd prefer, although I understand that the added security is probably the reason for that.

“scheduling and billing done right”
Pros
day to day scheduling, billing and payment tasks are very easy to manage. When mistakes happen, they're usually easy to spot right away and can be corrected without much hassle.
Cons
The reporting doesn't fully show the exact information I want. I am sure there are customizable report options available but figuring out how to set them up would take some time.

“flexible note recreation”
Pros
One of the biggest advantages is being able to recreate notes from any previous date and it's also really helpful that I can recreate a note from another provider in the same specialty.
Cons
The initial evaluation templates could be better. Manual muscle testing doesn't break things down by individual muscle groups and the range of motion section doesn't support documenting both active and passive range of motion.

“thorough charting with handy macros”
Pros
ChiroTouch is easy to work with and does a very detailed job. It also lets you add your own macros which helps speed things up quite a bit.
Cons
If you do not have good macros set up, writing notes can take some time especially while you are still learning how to use the software.

“Proven highly useful for us”
Pros
Working with patient notesi is very easy and the ability to customize them is really useful. The overall interaction within the system is very good and documenting follow-up visits or exacerbations is simple and efficient.
Cons
The patient accounting area is still a major weak spot. That becomes a pretty significant problem especially now that insurance coverage has gotten more complicated and difficult to manage.

“flexible features for every office”
Pros
Every practice can tailor the program to fit the way their office works which is a big plus. It also comes with plenty of add-on features that make handling doctor notes and patient accounts much more manageable.
Cons
Performance tends to lag when the software isn't tied to a fast server. On top of that the tool updates usually take more time to install than expected.

“helpful support despite constant issues”
Pros
Putting together SOAP notes is fairly easy and getting in touch with support is never difficult. Honestly we ended up spending almost as much time speaking with support as we did completing our notes.
Cons
There were problems nonstop, from iPads failing to save outcome assessments to claims getting rejected because of errors. Just about every day in the office, we had to contact support. The software freezes often, throws constant errors and feels terrible for a program you actually have to pay for.

“useful macros, confusing reports”
Pros
Getting around ChiroTouch is pretty easy and most of the product is self-explanatory. Being able to set up your own custom macros is also really convenient.
Cons
The stat reports can be a bit confusing at times. The support team is helpful when you reach them but it often takes quite a while to get through.

“Overall great ehr”
Pros
Using it on an iPad has been a big plus and that portability really stands out in day to day use. The electronic filing tools and EHR features have also worked quite well overall.
Cons
The setup process is pretty tedious. It's also not something you can fully customize on the fly since most changes have to go through customer support.

“powerful practice management tools”
Pros
Running a smaller practice is much more doable with this as a full practice management system. It cuts down the need for extra staff in a lot of ways which is a big plus for how I prefer to operate. One thing I really appreciate is how effectively it keeps track of outstanding claims, balances and pretty much any issue that comes up.
Cons
Well the part that really frustrates me is how high the monthly pricing has gotten. I originally bought the system expecting it to be more cost-effective over time but all the added add-ons have made it more expensive in the long run. I also think the SOAP note interface could be improved because a lot of it is not very useful and much of that content does not even carry into the SOAP notes.
