“quick to learn and use”
Pros
The software was very easy to use and learning how to use it didn't take much effort at all. After finishing the training, everything felt clear and I really didn't have any unanswered questions.
Cons
The biggest frustration is support. At times, the hold time when calling in is incredibly long and there have also been occasions when my calls were never returned.

“powerful reports and accounting”
Pros
One of the best parts of ChiroTouch is how extensive the reporting tools are. AP/AR runs very well and the system offers a high level of customization for accounting as well as setting up internal or personal medical insurance relationships. The phone support team also knows the software extremely well and if you stick to their patches and implementation process, they're able to help with just about anything related to the platform.
Cons
Scheduling piece is still the weakest part of the software and leaves the most room for improvement. Also, updates come out more frequently than with most EMRs and those releases tend to cause interruptions even in areas of the system that had seemed stable.

“front desk workflow shines”
Pros
Booking appointments is very easy and the front desk application is pleasant to work with. Bringing in client intake paperwork is simple too.
Cons
Accounting side is where it falls short. It doesn't feel well designed for small practices and estimating insurance payments can be difficult to figure out.

“faster notes and ERA imports”
Pros
Daily note entry is quick and being able to import electronic remittance advices straight into the patient ledger saves a noticeable amount of time at the computer each day.
Cons
Any added feature seems to come with an extra fee and setting up custom macros can be tricky sometimes.

“fast support and flexible setup”
Pros
One thing ChiroTouch does offer is a lot of customization which can definitely be a benefit depending on what you need. Their customer support is also usually pretty responsive whenever questions come up.
Cons
Using it though is anything but user friendly. It doesn't follow the basic patterns most computer programs use so the buttons often feel confusing and a lot of the features are not obvious to navigate. The customization can be helpful but setting everything up takes a long time and ends up being a frustrating process. The interface feels very outdated too, like software straight out of the 90s. There are plenty of little annoying issues throughout the product and the price only makes it worse. It's unbelievably expensive and there's basically no way out once you buy it. Even after using it for only a short time, you can't return it so you're pretty much stuck with it. Honestly I'd recommend finding a cheaper alternative.

“user-friendly setup and clear docs”
Pros
Getting around the software is easy and the documentation is written in a way that's simple to follow.
Cons
Customer service has been awful. Calls never get returned and ever since the last update, the software on our workstations has not been functioning correctly. What makes it worse is that no one on the support team seems to know how to resolve the issue. At this point, our office of six providers is operating from a single computer. The monthly charge per provider feels absurd considering the level of support and overall usability we're getting. I would not recommend this software to anyone.

“appointment scheduling works wonderfully”
Pros
Scheduling appointments is very convenient especially when we're setting patients up for the entire year. It even provides a printed list of all their appointments which is really helpful.
Cons
The only thing I don't care for is having to wait on hold. Aside from that, the program has supported our business in a lot of positive ways.

“fantastic fit for chiropractors”
Pros
Getting comfortable with this software took almost no time at all and I'd absolutely recommend it to any chiropractic clinic. It's been a pleasure to use every day and works really well for our practice.
Cons
The monthly billing statements still need some improvement. The latest update also caused issues with payment posting and if the wrong amount gets entered, the only fix is to delete it and post it again.

“responsive updates and improvements”
Pros
One thing I really appreciate is how often new and updated services are introduced. The company seems to pay close attention to what clients are asking for and does a good job responding to those needs.
Cons
Working with the macros has been challenging, to say the least. I also haven't been able to find much helpful support when it comes to creating or modifying them without running into errors.

“custom reports and direct claims”
Pros
ChiroTouch is very easy to use. It's customizable, offers plenty of reporting options and being able to upload claims directly from the software is a huge plus.
Cons
The frustrating part comes when you run into something you need help with and have to contact support. After waiting 45 minutes to reach a real person, being told to search the online support resources first is incredibly annoying. Support like that feels completely useless.

“needs a modern refresh”
Pros
One thing I can say in its favor is that it doesn't require updates very often. That said, it may also be part of the issue because there honestly aren't many other positives that come to mind.
Cons
Using it can be frustrating because it runs slowly and tends to lag quite a bit. It also doesn't feel very user-friendly especially by 2018 standards and it really seems overdue for a good update. Customer service is just okay.

“user-friendly scheduling win”
Pros
Scheduling is very easy and the system is user-friendly. It's simple to work with and practical to use every day.
Cons
The reporting side feels outdated, like it's running on very old technology. Reports need more customization options and pulling the information you need isn't very convenient.

“helpful reports and usability”
Pros
The system is fairly simple to use and the reporting tools are really useful for pulling practice analytics.
Cons
Once everything is set up, tracking down settings and permissions isn't very user friendly. We've needed to update a permission for an app and still can't locate where to do that. There's also been no ongoing training or follow-up from the company after becoming a client.

“Good basics, dated system”
Pros
It handles the basics well enough but the interface is like something left over from the Windows 95 era. Any extra features come at an added cost and a lot of those add-ons, like patient reminders, often don't work the way they're supposed to.
Cons
There are honestly too many issues to name and the monthly support fees just keep going up.

“quick access and handy ipad”
Pros
Getting to patient information is really easy and the iPad works very nicely for completing paperwork with patients.
Cons
The part I'd most like improved is having more control over HCFA forms and printing. It would also help if schedule printouts could be split into two parts of the day instead of having to print the entire day.

“fast updates and efficient billing”
Pros
The system is very easy to use, information updates instantly and the claims billing and remit processing are handled very efficiently.
Cons
There are still a few problems when printing paper claims. Also, after entering a daily office note, the Ledger can't be updated for a single date of service to fix insurance calculations so multiple service dates have to be recalculated instead.

“billing and reporting fall short”
Pros
One thing that does stand out is how flexible the program is. The doctor I work with has been able to customize the SOAP notes in a way that helps him create compliant documentation.
Cons
The reporting side really needs more flexibility. Billing functions are fairly weak as well while they do work, tracking A/R should be much better.
