“reliable fit for our office”
Pros
ChiroTouch has been proven to be a great product for our practice and I have recommended it to quite a few colleagues. Once it's configured to match the way your office works, it's very user-friendly and simple to navigate.
Cons
One downside is that most of the additional programs it offers cost extra beyond the basic package. Support and updates also come with an added fee.

“Decent tool”
Pros
Navigating through the system is very user friendly and moving from one page to another is easy. It's also really convenient to update, add or remove codes and diagnoses in the back office whenever needed.
Cons
My biggest frustration is that text reminders for patients come as a paid feature. With my previous EHR, that functionality was included so I still rely on my original EHR for patient reminders instead of using it.

“organized onboarding, feature overload”
Pros
It is user friendly and the onboarding training was put together in a very organized way.
Cons
At times, the number of features can feel overwhelming. That said, I understand why all the extra functionality is there for offices that want to take advantage of it, while others can choose not to learn every single feature if they do not need them.

“ipad convenience, limited records”
Pros
This is a heavily promoted platform and it will probably be around for a long time since the company keeps acquiring better products. Being able to use the iPad apps is a nice advantage from a portability and size standpoint, even though the functionality is still pretty limited.
Cons
The biggest problem is that the clinical data isn't searchable. In the iPad app or the Provider program, you can't even look up a patient's birthday, much less track exams, labs, imaging, ROS or any other organized information. It basically just logs everything by daily visit period.

“fantastic support and training”
Pros
Every interaction I have had with the customer service team has been excellent. Whether through chat or on the phone, everyone has been incredibly patient and has helped me work through any issue that comes up. The CT Community is also very informative and worth spending time in because there's a lot to learn there. Their webinars are clear, simple and get right to the point. I would absolutely recommend ChiroTouch to anyone.
Cons
Honestly the only thing I'd even count as a downside is the A/R report. It would be helpful to have an option to see totals only instead of every individual line item. Other than that, I really don't have any complaints.

“powerful customization and ipad tools”
Pros
The iPad apps have been a huge plus and the online intake process works really well. The outcomes assessment integration is excellent and there are so many customization options that it is like you can tailor just about everything to fit your workflow.
Cons
Visit tracking has not been very accurate and there's also no coordination of benefits when entering a patient's insurance information.

“all-in-one and highly customizable”
Pros
Having everything in one product is a huge plus. It covers daily front desk tasks, electronic chart notes, electronic patient records, along with stats and reporting and it really made the EHR side of things much easier to understand. The support team also deserves credit because they really know the software inside and out. Another big advantage is how customizable it is. If one method doesn't suit the way you work, there are usually several other ways to adjust it and still accomplish the same task.
Cons
There is definitely a learning curve so it takes a little time to understand how the software works. Some features also require extra clicks and can take longer than expected to finish. Support is very helpful once you reach someone but if you call or use chat right away, you might end up waiting 10 to 15 minutes. That said, if you can plan ahead, setting up PAAL sessions helps avoid that wait.

“fast training and seamless transition”
Pros
It is easy to use and the training moved quickly while still keeping everyone accountable. Since our previous A8 software was acquired by ChiroTouch, the transition over felt smooth and didn't create much disruption for us.
Cons
Finding the help I need inside the system isn't very easy so I often end up waiting on tech support instead. Another frustration is that support is based on the West Coast and doesn't start until 8 a.m. PST, while we're on EST and begin our day at 7:30 a.m.

“faster notes and excellent support”
Pros
Getting notes done takes a lot less time now. The support team has been outstanding and I honestly couldn't be more satisfied with the help they provide. I am also really happy with the intake process especially how it helps capture accident history.
Cons
One frustrating part has been the sales side. They'll say just about anything to get you signed up, offering discounts, freebies or gift cards but later they tend to back away from what was originally promised. Another downside is having to work across multiple apps. I was used to everything being in one place for billing, scheduling, patient history and similar tasks.

Pros
It covers a lot and is easy to work with once you're in it. Whenever questions come up, customer service is extremely helpful and responsive.
Cons

“support quality keeps falling”
Pros
The software itself has performed well overall. That said, the support side has really gone downhill. They say the system supports ICD-10 but in reality the office administrator has to manually set up diagnosis buttons for every single ICD-10 code for each person who needs to use them. With ICD-9, there used to be a copy function that let the administrator build the buttons for one provider and then copy them to everyone else. That feature no longer works and the response from support has basically been that it is not a big deal because you do not need it until October.
Cons
Support has become less and less knowledgeable, even though we are still paying for annual support coverage.

“Simple migration, pricey for solo use”
Pros
Coming from Autumn8, this software is able to bring over most of your information which is a big help if you've had to deal with that system. It also covers pretty much everything an office would need to operate day to day.
Cons
The biggest issue on my end is the cost especially for a single-provider office. I really only need something simple without all the extra bells and whistles.

“quick buttons and front desk perks”
Pros
This program was pretty basic, even as a new system. The quick buttons for repeat patients and notes are really helpful and the communication tools are a nice benefit for the front desk manager.
Cons
This program is very time-efficient for the business overall but setting up the quick buttons can take a lot of time and usually ends up needing IT support.

“powerful reports and standout support”
Pros
I have already suggested it to several colleagues and only one of them wasn't already using it. The software is simple, yet it includes all the features needed to create polished, professional reports with graphics in a clean and simple way. Our rep really knew the program inside and out. He even adjusted his schedule without hesitation and showed up when we were under pressure, helping us get set up, running and able to take advantage of a promotional discount. During one particularly frustrating moment, a couple of people from our office contacted him and even while he was traveling, he responded quickly, let us know he'd get the answers to us as soon as he arrived and then followed through exactly as promised.
Cons
The biggest frustration was that the training was remote and required us to go through the entire process before really getting started which slowed everything down. It would have been much better to have someone come in for half a day or a full day after we had done some independent study and just say, here's everything step by step. Any competent practitioner could then go back with the staff and review the videos afterward. Going through it all remotely has been exhausting, tedious and frustrating. On top of that we had switched from PC to Mac last year and now having to move back ended up being a waste of money because of the computer costs. Then there are the usual PC glitches which only added to the frustration. It came close to making this office pass on the product entirely.

“excellent support every time”
Pros
Any time I have needed help, the customer support team has been outstanding. The wait time is usually very short and they're always friendly, helpful and efficient. On top of that the issues get fully resolved instead of just partially addressed.
Cons
Getting used to the doctor notes took a bit of adjustment, although some of that came from insurance requirements and the shift to running a completely paperless practice.

“billing and claims made simple”
Pros
Handling billing, EDI claims and posting insurance payments is very easy with the accounting application which makes that side of the work much more manageable.
Cons
At checkout adding a note to a patient's account takes too many steps since you have to open patient management, find the patient and then go into their ledger to enter it. It would also help to have insurance details visible in the accounting application so it's clearer that the patient portion is being reconciled correctly.

“proactive support and standout ehr”
Pros
Over the past five years our profession has gone through constant changes with EHR requirements, PQRS, ICD-10 and CMS forms and ChiroTouch has consistently stayed ahead of it. They have always been prepared and helpful in guiding us through every transition. It's not often you come across software where both the billing side and the EHR are excellent while also being simple to learn and use.
Cons
Honestly I haven't run into any real problems with either the product or the company. On the few occasions when a question couldn't be answered right away, their team took the time to look into it properly, followed up the next day and made sure everything was resolved.

“paperless workflow that fits us”
Pros
Getting ChiroTouch set up around the way our office works has paid off really well. We customized it with macros, added our own office codes and now upload all exams into CT so patient reviews are completely paperless. The front desk system is very user friendly as someone in our office actually learned it in a single day. Chart notes are also quick to complete and don't take much time, along with several other helpful features.
Cons
The biggest time investment was at the beginning, when we spent hours adding, deleting and changing settings in it to make it fit our workflow. We expected that upfront effort would make things simpler later and it has. Even now, we still make occasional adjustments especially with macros, whenever we feel something could work better.
