“handy quick buttons”
Pros
The insurance-focused setup is a nice touch and even though my practice doesn't really use insurance, the quick buttons still come in very handy during the day.
Cons
One thing I miss from my previous software is the built-in time clock. My receptionist used to clock in directly through the system and it automatically gave me a weekly time sheet which this one doesn't offer.

“fantastic billing support”
Pros
Their CSR has been incredible in helping us understand the billing side of the software. She's been fantastic and honestly we wouldn't be able to find our way through it without her support.
Cons
There's a lot to learn with this system. It feels like the program could be more user-friendly if some steps were removed or combined.

“everything at your fingertips”
Pros
Everything you need is right there and simple to access, with multiple ways to accomplish the same end result. It's also very forgiving if you need to correct something you entered the wrong way. The accounting features are definitely better as well.
Cons
The data from our previous system didn't transfer over completely the way we expected. I am still not sure whether that was caused by an issue on the previous admin's side.

“pretty notes, weak practice fit”
Pros
The interface looks polished and it produces nice-looking notes but it really only handles the basics. It's okay for simple functions, just not something I'd trust to run an entire practice.
Cons
Even though it's cloud-based, you still have to install extra software on every machine to make it work. It also gets very slow during busy times. The support staff clearly puts in the effort and the people themselves are genuinely good but the platform seems to be the real problem because nothing actually gets fixed. And when changes do happen, updates usually break something else. We even went through stretches of several days with no billing at all.

“compliance-friendly with useful macros”
Pros
Staying compliant is very manageable as long as every visit is fully documented. It also includes dedicated macros for personal injury, Medicare, self-pay and insurance which makes handling different case types more convenient.
Cons
The downside is that completing everything takes a long time and a lot of it feels repetitive especially when the subjective and plan sections ask for similar information on the same date of service.

“not truly cloud-based”
Pros
It combines front-desk functions and note-taking in one system and it generates compliant notes with files that are simple to print.
Cons
A major disappointment is that this is not actually cloud-based. I was told a VPN setup would work the same way but that has not been the case at all.

“surprisingly simple billing workflow”
Pros
Compared with other billing software we've used, this system felt incredibly easy. We honestly kept doubting ourselves because it seemed almost too simple like we had to be missing something.
Cons
I'd really like to see improvements to how patient statements look once they're printed. Update releases also feel slower than they should be and the changes I have seen so far would make day to day work much more manageable if they arrived faster.

“helpful reminders and intake”
Pros
Since opening our office two years ago, we've been using ChiroTouch and have been really happy with it. Back when we first got started, the iPad app wasn't available yet so we handled check-ins with a touchscreen instead. We recently added an iPad to the setup and it's been a really nice upgrade. Patients especially appreciate being able to complete their initial forms online through CT Intake and CT reminders have been a big hit as well. I'd estimate around 90% of our patients choose to get text or email reminders through ChiroTouch and of those, about 90% prefer text messages. It has definitely helped cut down on missed appointments and because the reminders are automated, our front desk staff doesn't have to spend time making reminder calls.
Cons
No software is ever going to be a perfect fit for every office but overall we've been very satisfied with it. There have been a few instances where certain features didn't work exactly the way we wanted but with each update they continue to make improvements. It's clear they keep working on the system and making it better over time.

“frustrating costs and wait times”
Pros
One thing that really stands out is how much this company gives back to the chiropractic profession through The Foundation for Chiropractic Progress. That kind of commitment to supporting and promoting our philosophy is something I truly admire. The software itself can be difficult to learn but it keeps impressing me with how many features it has. The trainers and support staff have felt more like partners than just a service team and they've genuinely helped us get as much value from it as possible. You can tell they actually care.
Cons
At times, the phone support wait can still be longer than I'd like, although it has gotten much better over the past few months. Once I do get someone on the line, they've consistently been helpful. A couple of times I needed to ask for a supervisor after being connected with a newer team member but even then everyone was responsive and seemed sincere about trying to resolve the issue. Another downside is that there are quite a few add-on features that cost extra and I really wish the pricing were more all-inclusive. The add-ons aren't outrageously priced but those extra charges still add up.

“helpful support and quick learning”
Pros
ChiroTouch is easy to use and the learning tools make it simple to pick up. It's a great way to improve how a practice runs and the support team responds quickly and is always ready to help.
Cons
The only downside at the moment is that ScanSnap still isn't compatible with it, although they are actively working on that.

“better claims, weak reporting”
Pros
The thing that works really well is how it connects with the other systems we already use like Trizetto, Zingit and Fortis. Claim processing is much better compared to our previous system.
Cons
The reporting side needs more flexibility especially when it comes to marketing. Intake options also should be more tailored, with separate setups for children and for personal injury cases which would be much more practical.

“phenomenal training and custom macros”
Pros
One of the best parts has been the ability to customize my macros in the Provider-all-in-One section. The implementation training was phenomenal as well.
Cons
Checking in a walk-in visit takes a lot of clicks and checking out a patient also requires more steps than it should.

“useful tools, frustrating support”
Pros
One thing that works really well is how the different parts of the system connect. When charges are entered through the note-taking area, they move straight into the ledger which saves time. The notes are quick to complete and don't come across as generic or prewritten. There's also a strong amount of customization which helps fit the software to the practice. Live chat and online support have been very helpful and the training videos are worth using. As an all-in-one provider program, it does a lot right overall. The appointment book is practical and works well and the check-in system is helpful too. Even with its flaws, I would still recommend this over other options.
Cons
The reporting side could definitely be more user-friendly. To pull the numbers we need, we usually have to run two or three separate reports instead of getting everything in one place. Phone support has been disappointing and there have been plenty of times when we were left waiting days without any callback. At this point, I rarely bother calling and usually stick with online support since that tends to work better. The ledger can also be difficult to read because of the way the software handles insurance and patient estimates. On top of that the yearly fees feel expensive for the level of support provided.

“powerful customization and clinic reports”
Pros
There's a lot in this software that can be customized and most of it is easy to use, even if some options are tucked away and hard to locate at times. It's a very complete platform overall. Patients can schedule their own appointments and even describe their symptoms during registration which is really helpful. It also includes a module that helps with insurance payments and the reporting tools give you an amazing overall view of how the clinic is doing.
Cons
At times, the system crashes and you can't access the information that's already been stored which is frustrating. Technical support hasn't been very helpful and the reports can't really be customized. It also takes far too many clicks just to create a simple note and the interface is not very well designed so using it can become pretty irritating.

“powerful medicare-certified features”
Pros
ChiroTouch didn't take much effort and the system is easy to learn. It also comes with a strong set of features and functions and having Medicare certification is a big plus.
Cons
The biggest downside is the cost. The software itself is pricey, support is required and moderately expensive and the upgrades needed to unlock the full functionality also add to the overall expense.

“billing and charge posting shine”
Pros
The patient sign-in kiosk is what convinced me to buy this software, even though it is pretty limited in what it can do. There is not much room for customization. On the plus side, billing and posting charges work really well especially if you use their clearinghouse, though that does come with an extra cost.
Cons
Customer support has been the biggest frustration. The team often seems to lack the knowledge needed, the process takes forever and everything has to be handled online which ends up tying up an entire workstation or computer.
