friendly interface for staff

Pros

The interface is well designed and user-friendly so staff can get around the system without much trouble.

Cons

One frustrating part is that there is no simple way to change the database name or path if something was entered incorrectly during a new workstation setup. I tried reinstalling the client after rebooting but that still did not solve it. I also used the online support chat and the Tier 1 rep was unable to fix the problem. In the end, I had to call support and sit on hold for about 30 minutes before getting help.

paying for features i don't use

Pros

Creating SOAP notes is pretty easy and it's really helpful that patients can fill out their paperwork before coming in for their appointment.

Cons

The monthly price is hard to justify. I didn't need the full set of features included in the package but I still had to pay for all of them.

helpful appointments and inventory

Pros

Having tools for appointments and inventory in one place has been really impressive. The iPad check-in feature is especially useful and saves a lot of time. I have also had a good experience with the inventory sales reports since they're very simple to work with.

Cons

It was confusing at first but after spending a couple of hours working through the inventory side, it began to make sense. Adding inventory felt more complicated than it does in other software because the items seemed to need entry on multiple screens. Once everything was entered, though, it has been working well.

modern interface and pin access

Pros

The interface felt current and polished and the bold colors gave it a nice look. The PIN sign-in was also a really helpful touch because it made things much more convenient for patients to use.

Cons

One thing that bothered me was not being able to set up a calling module to automatically bring people back to the room. I also didn't like that alerts would appear after the patient had already been adjusted. On top of that having to move patients through different arrival boxes felt unnecessarily annoying.

training gaps and balance hassles

Pros

Working at the front desk, scheduling patients is very easy. Plus it only takes a few clicks to pull up the details I need and get someone on the calendar quickly.

Cons

Training would have been much better with an in-person trainer spending a full day or even a day and a half in our office with the staff. I also wasn't happy that patients' previous balances didn't carry over into the new system and that has created a real headache.

ipad to pc flexibility

Pros

Moving between the front desk and adjustment rooms is much more convenient since I can stay connected from one device to another. The iPad-to-PC connection works really well and has been a big plus.

Cons

There's definitely a lot to absorb while learning the software at first but the training program does a good job of helping things make sense as you go.

quick appointment booking

Pros

Booking appointments is incredibly convenient. I never have to wait around for someone to respond and I can set up my appointment in under a minute.

Cons

One downside is that I can't cancel appointments online and have to call instead.

clear scheduling and simple charts

Pros

The simplicity made this software pleasant to use. The schedule is clear, easy to read and flexible enough to customize without much effort. Managing patient files is easy too which helps keep everyday tasks organized and efficient.

Cons

It doesn't include every feature we were hoping for. The reporting side also feels somewhat limited especially when it comes to the amount of data and the variety of reports you can pull.

reliable tools and useful integrations

Pros

One feature I really appreciate is the insurance verification when it's functioning the way it should. A lot of the other tools are also very helpful especially the integration with merchant services, billing and similar features. The chat widget is also mostly very good and works well for us.

Cons

The biggest frustration has been the ongoing accounting problems and the lack of updates about where things stand or when they'll be fixed. We've been dealing with these accounting issues for at least six months now.

customizable and user-friendly setup

Pros

Getting new patient details into the system is very easy and the process is simple to work through. It's also highly customizable especially when it comes to setting up and creating your own charges without much trouble.

Cons

On the other hand, a lot of tasks are harder than they really need to be. If a charge gets entered by mistake, fixing it is incredibly frustrating. Once a charge has been marked as billed, you can't just delete it and the software makes you go through far too many steps to correct something that should be quick and simple.

powerful tools with strong potential

Pros

During the demo, the software comes across as very complete right out of the box, with CPT codes, exam templates and macros already included. It gives the impression that it can be very simple to use and it definitely has that kind of potential but getting everything configured takes a lot of effort.

Cons

Getting the system set up and learning how to use it is really challenging. As someone who learns better visually, it was tough to follow the setup process just by reading and constantly switching between screens. The billing reports also feel pretty limited.

friendly team, confusing workflows

Pros

Almost everyone I have talked to has been friendly and pleasant to work with.

Cons

A lot of basic tasks feel harder than they should be. For example, I don't understand why the spine section in the provider all-in-one area can't carry over into the notes. It's also not possible to create care plans in a practical way for patients who need superbills since the charge amount has to appear on the superbill and the system only shows the full price instead of any discount. That makes the whole process very confusing.

custom notes that fit us

Pros

One of the biggest benefits of ChiroTouch was how much we could tailor it to our workflow. I spent a lot of time building custom macros for my notes and the other doctors did the same. Since each of us has a different way of documenting, the software gave us the flexibility to support those individual writing styles really well.

Cons

Getting in touch with tech support can be frustrating. They do offer live chat on their website but the wait times are usually pretty long and when the issue is more complex, it can take 48 to 72 hours for someone to call back. Thankfully, we haven't run into many problems that needed that level of support.

billing and notes boost productivity

Pros

Billing with ChiroTouch has become much easier to manage and the note-taking tools are quick, easy and simple to use. It has noticeably reduced the time I spend on both billing and charting which gives me more time to focus on growing the practice and keeping patients engaged.

Cons

When we first signed on with this tool, they had just finished running a major promotion and had apparently brought in a large number of new users. Because of that, our training was delayed, even though it ended up being excellent once it finally got underway. We also had to deal with some wait time whenever we called support. Thankfully, over the past few months, support has become much faster and hasn't really been a problem anymore.

support is never available

Pros

There are only a handful of things I am satisfied with. It really hasn't lived up to how impressive they made it sound.

Cons

At the beginning, when we bought the software, everyone seemed ready to assist. Now that I am dealing with actual problems, it feels like no one is there when I need support. When I call, nobody answers the phone and when I use the instant chat, it usually takes at least 10 to 15 minutes before anyone responds. So overall, I am definitely not happy with it.

medicare notes done right

Pros

The system is very easy to use. Plus it makes Medicare-compliant documentation much simpler and the ability to customize macro sets helps speed up note-taking a lot.

Cons

Honestly I do not have much negative to say about it. The only issue I have noticed is that the billing side can occasionally mix up patient ledgers but it is usually a quick fix.

reliable all-in-one workflow

Pros

Having billing, scheduling and customizable notes and forms all in one place makes this system really convenient to use. The included upgrades usually happen with very little downtime and when problems come up, they're generally resolved within a reasonable timeframe and handled properly.

Cons

The credit card billing piece has been the weakest part for us. We recently switched because it wasn't very user-friendly and we'll be replacing it again right away.

helpful training made the switch

Pros

The customer service agent has been the standout part of ChiroTouch. She's also my trainer and she's the reason this program really works for me. Moving from a paper-based system to this software has been a huge improvement, largely because of the support and guidance she's provided.

Cons

It still crashes now and then and support can be inconsistent. The initial setup was easy overall but the program has been unpredictable at times. It does seem to be improving, just much too slowly.

robust billing and customization

Pros

ChiroTouch has a lot of depth and it can be customized to handle most of what you need it to do. The billing side is also user friendly than other systems I have worked with before which has been a big plus.

Cons

Even though macros can be created making changes inside the software doesn't seem user friendly. Adding anything that's missing takes some trial and error and can be frustrating and the cost is definitely on the high side.

responsive support and reliable saves

Pros

Personalized support makes a big difference and the system is fast, accurate and easy to use. Anytime I need help, Laurence is available and consistently goes above and beyond for his clients.

Cons

It does crash from time to time but compared with other software, it saves everything so no information gets lost.
