A cloud upgrade with home notes

Pros

Switching from the legacy version of ChiroTouch to the cloud has been very simple for our whole team. It's also really helpful that the doctors can complete their notes from home whenever they need to.

Cons

Every now and then an update affects the system but the fixes are usually made pretty quickly.

Helpful hot buttons daily

Pros

Having customizable hot buttons for the tasks we use most in our practice makes the system much more convenient to work with every day.

Cons

One limitation is that we still can't connect our primary radiology imaging provider so getting reports instantly isn't possible.

Built for chiropractic clinics

Pros

Designed specifically with chiropractors in mind as it really understands what's most useful in a clinic setting. The company also seems to listen to user feedback regularly and often puts those suggestions into practice.

Cons

There are a few minor areas that could be a bit more organized but they're not frustrating enough to be a real issue.

A doctor-friendly notes workflow

Pros

Working with patient notes is very doctor friendly and entering documentation for patients is simple and easy.

Cons

The billing side is not very user friendly and I really wish payments would automatically be allocated to the correct corresponding day.

Always improving for users

Pros

It keeps evolving and making updates which really shows an ongoing effort to make the software better for users.

Cons

One thing that bothers me is that the entries added to the notes objective section don't sync with or update the listings chart on the main charting screen.

Pros

Its charting workflow is very good and the billing integration works really well with it.

Cons

Helpful staff and customization

Pros

Their support team has been incredibly helpful and the ChiroTouch Cloud community is also a big plus.

Cons

Access from anywhere

Pros

Being able to log into the program from anywhere is really convenient and makes it much easier to stay connected when I am away from the office.

Cons

They're still making improvements to the software which is a positive overall but I am still hoping they add the ability to send faxes directly from the program and make charging credit card fees simple.

User-friendly notes we love

Pros

The note-taking is simple and very user-friendly which we really love.

Cons

Getting everything set up the way we needed was challenging at first but the Chiro Community feature helped answer our questions once we got the hang of it.

Powerful integrations for chiropractors

Pros

ChiroTouch is like the original chiropractic EHR and it offers tons of integration options which makes it possible to tailor the patient experience in a very customized way.

Cons

Because it includes so many features, it can feel a little bulky and harder to learn or navigate. There have also been quite a few cloud-related problems which leads to too much downtime, even while seeing patients. On top of that I never really found a good place in the system to enlarge X-ray images enough to view them clearly during adjustments.

Fantastic reminders and scheduling

Pros

The drag and drop tools have been really helpful and our patients absolutely appreciate the text reminders. That feature has made a big difference in cutting down on missed appointments.

Cons

I am still getting the hang of how payment allocation works.

User-friendly notes and scheduling

Pros

Everything about it is very user friendly. The notes work really well, the scheduling is excellent and the online scheduling has been a big plus. My patients are able to use it without trouble and they really like that feature too.

Cons

One thing that could be improved is making it simpler to use for two doctors working in the same office.

Online scheduling convenience

Pros

Being able to access my schedule from anywhere is incredibly convenient and my patients really appreciate having the option to book appointments online.

All client info in one place

Pros

Having all of my clients organized in one system has been a huge help and it makes running the front desk much more manageable.

Cons

One thing that's missing is the ability to schedule appointments more like Zoom calls or task lists. I also need a clearer way to see when a re-exam is due.

Reliable support and performance

Pros

Customer service has been excellent and the system itself has been very reliable.
