Outstanding insurance and visit restriction features
Pros

I appreciate how simple it is to access the reports I use all day long. I also appreciate how much information is immediately displayed when I open the case. In all areas, but particularly about insurance and visit restrictions, the pop-up notifications regarding missing information and/or visit limit are VERY helpful. As we frequently use this tool without any disruptions from the faxes, I do like how simple it is to send and receive faxes. It is simple to figure out the application in your free time even if you are traveling.

Cons

Even though so far everyone at my company has been loving this software, I have a thing or two to say about the cons. The software needs numerous clicks to browse different pages to find particular items. This is what I like least about the software. Although, initially, it doesn’t feel much this repetitive thing starts getting annoying after a while. For instance, it would be a fantastic addition to the application if double-clicking on an existing patient who is on the calendar would open their file.

So intuitive! I would definitely recommend it.
Pros

The A2C Clinic Controller program can be fully customized to meet the particular requirements of our clinic. There are so many "stock" reports included with the software that we never really felt the need to create our own. But we can quickly create custom reports to suit our needs. Ive used a variety of documentation systems, but Clinic Controller is by far the most user-friendly and straightforward to train new staff members on.

Cons

However, it is very expensive, even for a fairly large hospital like ours. The customer service is painfully slow, and once an employee sent me an email that he intended to send to someone else. Im still not sure how that happened.

The IT support team especially the ladies always go the extra mile to fix any issue regardless of whether it falls under their responsibility or not.

Cons

It took me years to update my system even just for changing the font size and the graphics feel like theyre from 1995.

Terrible customer service. Slow to perform updates.
Pros

I appreciated the fact that it encompasses scheduling billing and medical records all in one system. It allows for customizing hotkeys to quickly retrieve information and navigate efficiently.

Cons

I found it expensive and slow to update. The updates I was promised never came. Customer service was terrible they ignored my emails and even sent me an email meant for someone else complaining about my company. Very unprofessional.

Lagging in Innovation
Pros

There is a plethora of reports available to track any metric I desire. Additionally I have the flexibility to customize reports to extract specific data.

Cons

I struggled with using it especially when I was new to it. It didnt integrate with anything so it increased my admin time. Updates took forever and the changes we were promised never happened.

Clinic Controller deficiencies.
Pros

This software excels in handling administrative tasks and generating metrics. I can access statistics quicker than I can generate daily notes.

Cons

Its not user-friendly it takes at least 10 clicks just to start a daily note which isnt efficient. Ive been using it for 13 years and with each upgrade it seems to get more complicated.

Pros

Clinic Controller is incredibly user-friendly. It seamlessly transitions between daily notes schedules cases evaluations and more. The flowsheets are intuitive featuring search functions and allowing users to input their own information. Moreover Clinic Controller provides guidance without restricting users to a single choice. Ive trained numerous therapists both new and experienced as well as students and everyone learns it in a day or less!

Cons

There arent any fancy icons or unnecessary space taken up by them if thats what youre looking for.

Review of Clinic Controller for Physical Therapy
Pros

The detailed templates facilitate the organized collection of patient information during evaluations and tracking progress in daily notes. Its easier to review exercises and add specific functions when creating a POC ensuring compliance with insurance and billing regulations.

Cons

It was difficult to navigate at first because of all the functions available. However once I learned the system it was great for tracking patient adherence and clinic performance.

Review of Clinic Controller: Therapy
Pros

Clinic Controller software is entirely customizable and can adapt to the unique needs of our practice. While it comes with a vast array of stock reports custom reports are available to best suit our practice. Having worked with numerous documentation systems I find Clinic Controller to be the most intuitive and easiest to train new employees on. Therapists who have joined our team after using other leading software invariably prefer Clinic Controller.

Cons

Anything we felt was lacking in the system has been addressed with software updates and/or customizations. The responsiveness to user feedback is outstanding.

Im absolutely enamored with this software! Its incredibly convenient�I can fax scan attach and receive faxes all within one platform.

Cons

I cant think of anything negative about it its incredible. If I had one request it would be to receive an email notification when a fax is received.

I appreciate the convenient accessibility of reports that I frequently use during the day. I also find it helpful that a considerable amount of information is readily visible when opening a case. Additionally, I find faxing to be simple and efficient since we use it frequently. Although I had limited training prior to using this program, it is user-friendly as I could learn to navigate through various areas in my free time at my own pace.

Cons

I find the program's navigation to be cumbersome, especially when opening an existing patient's case from the schedule. It would be helpful if the program allowed a double click option to open a patient's case directly from the schedule. This is the only improvement I can suggest.

I find the flow sheet portion of the software particularly enjoyable. The templates allow for therapist-tailored exercises to be utilized swiftly and effortlessly.

Cons

The program feels outdated and the steps are repetitive slowing down my efficiency. I wish I could create evaluation docs and flowsheet exercises from scratch.

Im fond of the ability to color-coordinate visits and right-clicking makes everything incredibly manageable from any screen.

Cons

It doesnt help keep track of patient visits used it only tracks the date range. This means we have to be even more diligent than usual to stay on top of patient visits.

Clinic Controller Good vs. Bad
Pros

I appreciate how daily notes seamlessly incorporate information from the flowsheet and import data from previous entries including objective and subjective information making updates quick and effortless. I also like how it guides me through the steps of completing case entry and how easy it is to create and modify templates for faster daily documentation.

Cons

Sometimes billing an entry is difficult and diagnosing the issue can be tough unless youre a super user. As a staff therapist there are times we have to call for direction to fix issues.

The ease of sending and receiving faxes a feature we constantly utilize is also noteworthy. I had minimal training prior to using this program but its easy to navigate at ones own pace and figure out different areas during downtime.

Cons

What I like least about this program is the number of clicks it takes to navigate for certain tasks. For example double-clicking on an existing patient on the schedule to open their case would be a great addition to the program. Thats the only thing Id like to see changed.

Clinic Controller: Therapy Review
Pros

I can easily access everything with just a right-click. The template design is straightforward and I receive alerts for re-evaluations. Furthermore I can quickly view important case or patient information from charges and documentation. The ability to have two tabs open simultaneously is convenient and the communication system with co-workers is effective.

Cons

Filling out the flowsheet is tedious because of all the checkboxes and tabs. It took me a long time to learn the system initially.

I adore the ability to customize many aspects of it to suit our practices requirements. Whether its visit types or cancellation reasons I have the flexibility to make the experience as basic or as tailored as necessary.

Cons

Our clinicians have mentioned that they find the evaluation templates could be more user-friendly but theyve managed to use them efficiently. The interface could do with some updates but it still does the job.

Pros

Im impressed by the readiness and willingness of all the technical support staff. Theyve helped me comprehend this program thoroughly and utilize it to its full potential.
